Awwww, how cute!! I won't get to see her before her class, since she goes right after preschool. But, I plan on going a little early to pick her up, so I can snap some pictures of her.

You will have to share your picture tomorrow!

:love2: Chuck and I just had our 32nd anniversary on Aug. 18th! August is a good month for weddings! We want to go on a Mediterranean cruise for our 35th! I sure wish Disney had a ship there! :sunny:

Happy belated Anniversary! Our biggest fantasy is to go to Egypt one year for our anniversary, although we could be talked into a Disney Mediterranean Cruise ;).

Hi Everyone,

Just checking in. Chet and I will be on board too!

HookonWDW - Please sign us up for stateroom tour.

Too many pages to go back and read. What are all you DISers planning?? Do I need to sign up for anything?

Looking forward to getting together will our May repo cruiser friends and expanding our circle of DVC friends.

Does anyone know who some of the special guests on board will be? One of the MS castmembers told me one of the guests will be someone who was present at the opening of Disneyland in California. She wouldn't tell me any more. Any guesses????

Fern

Hey guys, we are doing well today to move toward at least 9000 posts. We have posted almost 200 messages today so far. If we keep up this pace, we might just make it to 10,000. :cool1:

Hi Fern! Glad you are joining us - sounds like you are experienced with cruising. Let's see - Mark and Mary's webiste has a majority of the awesome information. PM Kay (krdisneybound) if you would like Tshirts as we had some made for the cruise and they are amazing. She has some sizes left I believe. Blinkies - we all bravely ventured out to Walmart to buy some flip flops that blink - we're going to be pretty humorous trying to walk in them. Many have fish extenders from Mrs. Lips but you probably already have one. We're having a scrapbooking session that Linda is coordinating, however I don't know if we are past the sign up date (sorry). Whew - what else?

Ok well was Julie Andrew's there on opening day cause I'd love to meet her - she's so awesome!

Jenny the picture of your dd in her ballet outfit is cute. When my 11 yo was about 4 we started her in ballet. After about 3 classes and her spending all the class time checking out her teeth in the big mirrors the teacher politely suggested that she needed something that used more energy - so now she's on a travel soccer team!

Thanks! We think she is cute. :flower:

My 7yr old has been dancing since she was 2. She also does soccer and swims. I hope that once she is 11 that she will narrow down her interests so that we can concentrate on 1 thing! It is going to be hard to manage everyone’s schedule this year!

Hey Gang!!
It took me so long to get caught up that everyone is probably in bed by now.

1. Chatting with everyone who shares the same Disney interest.
2. Getting to know people on a first name basis (still confused about all the Mary's and Annmaries though)
3. The shared jokes (Blinkies, Crocs, Henry, fish extenders....somehow I missed the Mrs. Lips one....must have happened while I was on vacation)

Lol! There are a lot of common names going on the cruise. Hopefully, we can keep everyone straight.

This thread has been very helpful with a lot of great tips, jokes and definitely getting to know so many people by their first name.

Annmarie

1. Favorite pig out food: Sweet has to be chocolate ice cream with a peanut butter mix in from Coldstone. Salty - Veggie chips

2. Nickname: DeeDee (was as close to Kristi as I knew how to say when I was young) or Keer

3. Favorite Childhood memory: My grandmother who read me "Gigi, a Merry Go Round Horse" when I was sick.

4. Personal heroes: My sisters

5. I've never been able to: Do a cartwheel either!

6. If I could do it over, I'd: Have my family come to our marriage ceremony at the court - we redid the ceremony on our one year anniversary, but still....

7. I'd give anything to meet (& why): My guardian angel - the stories he could tell!

8. If I could change one thing about myself: Definitely lose weight or be a couple inches taller to match the weight chart!

9. People who knew me in High School thought I was: Going to be a brain surgeon...or maybe they thought I was just a head case - hmmm!

10. My most irrational act: Thinking we could do our floors, go through personal trauma, go on vacation during a hurricane and have Thanksgiving and Christmas last year all at the same time!

11. If I've learned one thing in life it's: Okay to be who you are

12. Major accomplishment: Not sure I've done it yet

13. The three words that best describe me: Funny, Smart, Accepting

Good Morning everyone

We are getting close. My 7 week old slept from 9:30 pm to 5:00am does that constitute sleeping the night? I truly hope so. He will be staying with my mom while we go on the cruise. Funny thing is I planned and booked the cruise before I even knew I was pregnant. I feel bad leaving him but my mom is dying to be left alone with him. So I think my 2 older ones will keep me real busy. I hope everyone has a good day and lets get to 10000 posts. Even if we don't do it before the cruise we sure will make that mark after the cruise.

Michele

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Making a list of who to send a postcard to from Castaway Cay? Don't forget yourself!

A postcard from Castaway Cay is a great addition to your scrapbook and will bring back the memory of the cruise after you get home. Have each member of your party sign their name - the kids will love it!

You'll find a few free postcards in your desk drawer in your room and a wider selection up in the gift shop.

You'll need cash to mail them (one of the few things on the cruise you'll need actual cash for) so don't forget to take some with you on the island.

The post office is right where you get off the ship and there are often characters there posing for photos as well.

One thing to remember - patience. The postcards come on island time - which means it could be a month or more before you get them! But it is worth the wait! :)

I love Julie Andrews.

It's funny because I wanted to watch Princess Diaries so I rented it from Netflixs. Walker sat with me and watched a good part of it. My boy-of-all-boys loved it. Now Princess Diaries is on TV, Walker insists we have to sit and watch it together until it's over. Some couples have a song, my son & I have a movie. :goodvibes

Julie Andrews would be an awesome guest!

We love Princess Diaries and Princess Diaries II. We saw the latter on our 10 day cruise.

YEAH! A TOP with Cindy and Julie Andrews!

What are your three favorite Disney films?

No way could I pick just one which is why I said three. Mine are:
