Woo Hoo! I sent DH to the store to pick up a 12 pk of Twisted Tea. I'm almost done getting ready for the big picnic tomorrow, so I can sit down, relax and chat!

That brings a question to mind...I know that tips are included as part of the member cruise, but I was figuring to tip a little extra. What do you feel is appropriate? As a first time cruiser I have no idea.

We always tip extra for exceptional service. Usually we add extra money to the tip envelope and give a Wal*mart shopping card for about $10. When they are in Port Canaveral there is a bus that will take them to various places---Wal*mart, the bank, etc. They seem to appreciate these cards. Plus they work well for non-tipped positions. For example, special counselors in the kids' club....if they get a cash tip, they have to split it among all the counselors. If you give them a Wal*mart card, it's all theirs. What we usually do is tell the kids to pick two or three counselors who in some way have made their trip extra special. Then they (the kids) take the cards to those counselors and say "Thank you for making my trip extra special/magical/wonderful/etc" and they give them the card. Counselors have shed tears.

Not sure how we'll handle the tipped positions. If we have REALLY great servers we've been known to double the standard tip....but if the base tip is already included.....hmmmm.....how to handle that....
