Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

For an early morning wake-up to a late night before bed snack you only have to pick up the phone. That's right room service is available 24 hours a day.

For a continental breakfast or your morning coffee you can hang your order outside your door. Or how about a mid-day treat (Mark loves the ship's kettle which is tomato soup). Don't forget milk and cookies before bed.

Here's the tip. Before you leave home collect one dollar bills in a small envelope. Keep this near the door (there is a small chest of drawers right next to the closet and we keep ours in the top drawer). Now you'll always have a dollar or two for tipping room service.

Want to be more inventive? Take dollar coins or $2 bills.

A tip Cameron can appreciate. Ever since we booked this cruise, Cameron's been talking about ordering room service. I can just imagine how many times we're going to have to get up to answer the door -- right out of bed during the middle of the night. :rotfl2:

Note to self, sleep the farthest from the door so Gary has to answer. ;) :teeth:

Today's fluffy question of the day.......

I'm out of ideas :confused3 Do you have one? :teeth:

I woke up this morning and thought.....3 weeks from today I'll be sitting the airport waiting to board!! :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: And 3 weeks from right now we'll already be in the air!!!

I thought of a really good one yesterday....but I can't remember it now! :rotfl: :confused3

I'm glad some of the smilies are back, can you tell?

Let's play a new getting to know you game today.... two truths and a lie. You list two facts about yourself and one lie. The next person has to guess which response is the lie. When someone guesses correctly, they post their 3 facts.

I'll go first:

  1. I wanted to be a nun when I was younger.
  2. I played drums in a girl band in high school.
  3. I almost went to a Musical Conservatory instead of college.

Think, think, think. hmmm, where did I hear that before?

Maybe you should let the rest of us try them out today? ;)

Okay, I'll guess first. (second now, Mary has quick fingers!)

I suspect #3 is the lie

You're right Mary! (Good try Cindy!)

I really did want to be a nun until I thought out that whole boy thing, and I actually played the piano, flute and bassoon in marching band and orchestral competitions. I was an All-New England musician, and almost went to the NE Conservatory of Music, but then I started thinking about $$$, and decided I wanted a job that would pay some $$$ and not require 10 hours of practice a day. :rotfl:

I got my degree in education. I guess money wasn't that important after all. :rotfl2:

Your turn Mary!

Yeah I got it right.

Ok here's mine:

1) I didn't get my driver's liscense until I was 28.

2) I once appeared in a national magazine ad.

3) I majored library science in college.

Lisa, all cleaned out now. We need a sweeping broom smilie. :cool1:
