is that an electric one or a paper one? :rotfl:

I have a $3 winner from the Idaho Lottery, maybe we can pool them. LOL

Also, the latest Oriental Tranding Co. catalog had pirate outfits and other Pirate plunder.

Amy, did you work in the fish tank? Zurich Insurance on Martingale? That's what we use to refer to our building before we moved into the big towers.

No, I actually worked in the most boring building on Martingale. It was a cream colored rectangular building with teal colored windows. BORING!! I worked there for about 5 years before our division was moved out to Arlington Hts. Then, I transferred to our offices in Tampa.

We've talked many times about getting a lap top. I spend a lot to time on the DIS boards, too much time in fact. I'm sure if I was able to log on while on vacation, it would take away from my relaxing/reading time that is really very precious and not something I do at home (probably because I spend too much time here :rotfl2: ).

One of these days....one of these days. At least I won't loose sleep wondering what type of notebook I should be buying. :rotfl2:

DH has been dying to get a laptop, but I just can't justify it right now. We already have 4 computers in the house. He has 2, I have one and the girls have one. And, he wants to get the girls each their own separate computer, because they fight over it constantly. We don't need a laptop, at least not for now.

I'm actually posting two days in a row-this may be a new record for me as a lurker :rotfl: We used the magnetic note pad on our hurricane Jeanne shortened cruise last September. While it was originally intended as away for my sister and I to keep track of each we often found notes from fellow cruisers on it instead. We never met them or knew how many but it was fun to go back to our room and read the messages left in our absence. We bought a laptop a few years ago and can't imagine traveling without one now. Janet is a pin collector and we log on in the morning to see if any surprise pins were released during our stay. I carry a notebook with me too. It comes in handy for jotting down notes for trip reports and notes for where I've seen a souvenier I may want to go back to buy later. One of these days I'm going to have to start working on my door sign. I am getting very excited about the cruise.

Yeah, come on lurkers!! Come out of the woodwork!! We're getting close and we want to get to know you!!!

Good morning!

what are these used for and what is a fish extender? I know I've missed some posts, so any help is appreciated!! :sunny:

So, Mark agreed to post a list I compile w/ all the things we think are "neccesities" for this trip. For example "Fish Extenders" :rotfl2:

If you can remember the items we've mentioned so far (even those we discussed when Mary announced her Passporter news) PM me w/ it. I'll then send the list to Mark and he'll post on his site to make packing a bit easier.

Off to work now...don't be too chatty :goodvibes

Definitely can't forget the "fish extenders"!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and blinky flip flops. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A long time ago in a Galaxy Far Far Away, I gew up in Franklin Park. For those of you still in the Chicago area, enjoy and savor the taste of Italian Beef, real Pizza, and Vienna Hot dogs, these gastronomic items are hard to find in the rest of the world. Did find a Bono’s Beef join in Las Vegas.

Ahhh, those are the things that I miss. It's just not the same here in FL. I also miss GOOD mexican food. We just don't have it here, but we can get some awesome Cuban food.

Here's a link to a "fish extender" on eBay. A bunch of us bought these off of eBay the other day.

c) Luggage tags. Put these on your luggage before heading to the ship. Unless you are flying down Sunday and going direct to the ship DO NOT put them on your luggage before you fly down.

Ummm... aren't I supposed to keep these to sell on E-Bay??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That reminds me, I just looked on eBay and mrs.lips has a bunch more "fish extenders".

Angela is starting to come back. She is seeing some patients and tried a full day at the end of the week . She still is wearing the splint on her left foot and has some loss of feeling in the foot. I suspect that we will have to rent a scooter for her to get aroung WDW due to the loss of muscle in the leg and the recurrent pain that , Hopefully, will eventually resolve. I am debating getting a rented wheel chair for the cruise.
Bill

Glad to hear she's slowly getting better. I remember when I tore the ligaments in one of my ankles a few years back... it was amazing how long it took to recover. I know you must be stressed out, trying to do the work of two people, and take care of Angela too. Something tells me you'll need this cruise by the time it comes along!

Check with MS... they may have wheel chairs available on board that you can reserve ahead of time, like they do at the resorts.

Ah, I see. ok, I'll check with her too. :)

Feel free to post it Mark!

And Cindy... I enjoy working with you too!!! :goodvibes

Also, I went to Target today and in their $1 spot, I found the cutest set of mini highlighters. There are 8 in the package - purple, blue, green, 2 yellow, orange & 2 pink. They come in a little plastic zippered holder with a beaded keychain. I figured that I would get them for highlighting our Navigators.
