Ummm... aren't I supposed to keep these to sell on E-Bay??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No the ones that come with your documents have your name and room number on them. The free ones that you get at the end of the trip are the ones the scammers sell on ebay. However I do stop by and pick some up because they are great for scrapbooking. :)

Also, I went to Target today and in their $1 spot, I found the cutest set of mini highlighters. There are 8 in the package - purple, blue, green, 2 yellow, orange & 2 pink. They come in a little plastic zippered holder with a beaded keychain. I figured that I would get them for highlighting our Navigators.

That's a great thing to add to the packing list. Highlighters.

There is a cute story I read somewhere on that you should bring different colors for each member of your party. Yellow for her, blue for him and honeymooners should just bring one green since they do everything together (and yellow and blue make green). :)

New York makes many great things - but when it comes to Pizza Chicago is the winner.

IMHO :)

Also, the latest Oriental Tranding Co. catalog had pirate outfits and other Pirate plunder.

Just checking in before our day of errands and lunch at Famous Daves. Yummy!

I was looking through the Oriental Trading catalog last night. The pirate outfit for kids may be a good option since it is only $12.99. I also want to check with Party City since they should be putting out costumes soon.

Cindy - Enjoy HH! We love HH. :sunny:

Good morning!

I need help......I keep reading about the fish extenders and door magnets,
what are these used for and what is a fish extender? I know I've missed some posts, so any help is appreciated!! :sunny:

Bye the way, I stopped by the chat last evening ... nice to meet everyone!!

CME - I knew i missed someone! Sorry about that. Glad you joined us in chat!

Wow go away for an hour and I really have to go to work on keeping up!
First of all, Scott(and others), here's some Chicago you can get right to your door:

Lou Malnati's Pizza, 1-800-Lou-togo(click) They have a little of everything Chicago, I highly recommend the deep dish pizza and the Portillo's Beef, and the Eli's cheesecake. Have eaten at Wildfire, it's more of one of those 'atmosphere' places, but the food was excellent too. And unless they've changed them(havn't had them in many years), Carson's riibs arn't all that great. I really prefer meat falling off the bone ribs.

I've heard from others good things about Oriental Trading co. Good call Scott. Anyone looking for pirate gear would be good going there. Linkies(click).

And Lisa, no the ones on Ebay are for after the cruise. You will see the giant bins where you can get them by the handful by guest services and then laugh at how 'rare' or prized they really are.

And I will have somthing up on the website shortly for the kids thing. I'll refer to both of you as the contact people for this endeavour of yours. :)

Now Cheryl, you do have it backwards. You were 5 decks higher before, you'll see even less motion on 2 where you are now. Relax, I don't expect we'll see much movement(outside of bad weather), just like we had last time, they still won't be doing much speed. You've done this before, it'll be no worse and probably even easier this time.

WEll looks like I'm outnumbered on the great Pizza debate, although I really think it is apples and oranges.
Chicago is more of a meal type thick-deep dish pizza (I have not been fortunate enough to try a Chi pie. NY pizza is thinnny thin thin-lotsa cheese stringing from your slice-no knife and fork please!!

RE: :crazy2: motion sickness-I get it alittel only at the point going thru the "current" -what is that called-(I just watched Nemo so I keep think East Australian w/ Crush and turtles). That's when it hits me, but I wear the sea bands and they really help alot!

only a few more to 4000

Noreen, actually my favorite pie is a very flat one from a local place a few blocks away. Cheese and sausage and a touch of tomato sauce. yum! Just they don't ship it anywhere with dry ice. They have both here and both are excellent. I just prefer the deep one from Malnati's over their flat one. :) The only difference around here is they usually cut it into squares instead of pie-style slices.

You're not alone... I'm originally from MA, and Boston style pizza is like NY. I much prefer it to Chicago deep dish... after all, you can't fold a piece of deep dish pizza! ;)

Ooohhh, we've actually gotten Lou's to go before. Years ago. Boy, oh boy, do I miss Chicago food. That's why we always spend our trips to Chicago revolving everything around the food.

OMG!! I've been gone for 2 hours and you guys haven't made it to 4000. I'm in complete SHOCK!! It must be that all the chatty cathys are busy doing other things on this fine Saturday morning!!!

We've been known to go over to Giordano's on Apopka-Vineland, outside downtown Disney to get our Chicago deep-dish pizza fix. It's still not the same as being in Chicago, but it will do. It's cheaper than the plane fare for all of us.

And, I forgot that they cut pizza in squares in Chicago. As kids, we all used to fight over the little triangle pieces.

I hate to break it to you, but with two posts in two days, I believe you have officially LOST your lurker status.

Welcome to the Dark Side! :rotfl:

Thanks, I think :rotfl2:

I even bought two fish extenders yesterday. I couldn't pick which color I liked best so I bought them both. ;)

Our door signs are now printed! One more thing to cross off the list!

Ok, you people are soooo slow!

I don't think it's about geography as much as who has skill to make a good one. The local guys are usually the best by far, but even then you can get a bad one. And don't get me started on the chains. Pizza hut? Not like any pizza I enjoy.
