Hi my name is Jan and I am going to attempt my very first trip report, so I thought a good place to start was with a pre-trip. Let me start off with the players (for this trip):

Me-::MinnieMo 41 when we go to the world I will be 42 since my birthday is Friday... I am an avid Disney Fanatic. I am redoing my kitchen in the Disney theme, next the bathroom and master bedroom. I love to scrapbook and most of the scrapbooking is Disney.

DH-::smickey: 39 will turn the big 40 on Thursday. An avid Disney husband and father. Loves everything Disney and a collector of anything Disney.

DD-princess: 20 My biggest Disney princess. She is more Disney that our 12 year old. Also scrapbooks mostly Disney and collects Disney jewelry.

Just a little background, this will be our 2nd trip this year, we went in June for 7 days and took the two 12 year olds, and due to school they will not be joining us on this trip. The hated the TS dining, and we lived on CS all 7 days, not a good thing with us older ones. We live for the TS at Disney, so needless to say we are doing the DP and look very forward to doing this on this trip.
We are DVC members and absolutely love it. This will be our 2nd trip as DVC members and are trying 2 more resorts this trip. We are trying to see which one we like best, so that when we buy our next contract it will be at that resort. We have stayed at the AKV-Kidani, this is our home resort and (sorry to those of you that feel different) but we hated it there. We really wish we had of bought at SSR, we stayed 4 days there and loved it. And the CM's at SSR was so much better than at AKV. I'm not sure if it was because it was just opened or what, but we were not comfortable at all, with the rooms or the service. We also own at BLT and our first stay there will be in December when it is just me and the DH celebrating a late anniversary. We are going Dec 30th - Jan 6th, and our anniversary is really on the 16th of December, but we will come up with any reason to go to Disney.:rotfl:.

I will be back tomorrow with the ADR's and the plans for our resorts.

I will be waiting until I have posted 10 times because I want to post some pics, so everyone bear with me.:rolleyes1

So I am going to start with my get aquanted photos now.

Next up what we know so far about the trip coming up.:cheer2:

I'm the oldest in my family and I'm way more Disney than my younger sister too. I don't get it. :confused3

I think I'd go nuts if I had to eat CS all week long! I love food too much!

PrncessA-So glad to have you.

SilverL-You have no clue, eating CS all week was like living a nightmare. Hope you stay with us on the thread, and also check out the other PTR that I started about our Dec. trip.

Let's see where we are today:
Only 46 days left until we leave for the world:cool1:. At first our trip was scheduled for Sept. 28th - Oct 4th. My husband being the Disney Lover he is and of course the greatest husband, comes up with the idea to leave on Sat instead of Monday.:cloud9: So I call and the only thing I could get was ASM, now they say the crowds are low, but my goodness when nothing else is available? Are they holding out on me or what?:confused3 well anyway that works, so it is ASM for 2 nights, then off to Boardwalk Villas for three and then the last three at Saratoga. Well we were gonna drive but for the deal on the flight we got, who could pass that up? NOT ME! So for the flight, WOW what a deal, Southwest $60 each way, yeah a little later flight 2:05pm but that is cool. No 10-11 hour drive just an hour flight.:yay: We are definately going to do the DDP that does of course include 1CS, 1TS and 1 snack. Now the ADR's were not exactly what I was wanting but with free dining and the F&W it is OK. What I didn't get this time I will try again in Dec. I started working on my packing list last night. I know it is still a little early but I have 3 to worry about so I am the one with the OCD and it all has to be just right. Next time I will do the ADR's.

How does a split stay like that work as far as park tickets go? Or do you have an AP since you're going back in Dec?

We have AP's, but the tickets are in the computer and when we swap resorts, if we have the kids they just add it to the room key at the resort that we are at, at that time. It is no trouble at all. I guess with the computer now it makes it all easier.

Final plans for the ADR's are made and I am still crossing my finger's to get into Ohana, but not expecting it. I guess I will try harder to get that one in Dec. So here goes:

Sat Sept 26th-Cape May Cafe-8:35pm
Sun Sept 27th-Restraunt Biergarten-Germany-7:40pm
Mon Sept 28th-Kona-5:10pm
Tues Sept 29th-Boma-8:05pm
Wed Sept 30th-Narcoossee's-6:00pm
Thur Oct 1st-QS-Earl of Sandwiches
Fri Oct 2nd- Crystal Palace-5:00pm
Sat Oct 3rd-Chef Mickey's-6:55pm

The reason for the QS on Thursday is we are doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour that day, so I think a QS will be fine and then using the extra credit to eat at my favorite: Narcoossee's.

We also have tickets to MNSSHP for Oct 2nd, we are looking forward to that. We have plans to go as pirate's. Also have appt for Pirate's League on the 2nd and off to the party we go.

I did finish my planning binder and working now on the decorations for the window.
This is a pic of the front of my binder.

Next report:
Things already gotten for the Disney trip, lots of pics.

Loving the binder:thumbsup2 I'm a binder gal myself so I can appreciate the organization/obsession.;)

Oh my gosh - you have a planning book! I didn't even think about that - I just have a spreadsheet with the rest of the paper clipped onto the frig. Just got my Magical Express stuff yesterday so yes - I do believe a binder is in order.

We will be there the same time as you 9/26 - 10/3 doing MNSSHP on 10/1 and a Wishes cruise on 9/30. Staying at BLT.

Keeping track of your planning. Hope to see you there.

The binder is great, especially with the pockets, I got my ME stuff yesterday also.
We need to definately set up a meeting...that would be great. We are doing the MNSSHP on the 2nd and would love to do the Wishes cruise but could not work it in budget, still got finders crossed though.

Hi Jan!:wave2: I'm on board. Your trip looks great and your family is beautiful. I'm a binder kind of girl too. Can't wait to read more.

I am so sorry for the delay in post, but I had to go home for a week (200 miles south), a funeral then my mom got sick, my nephew and my daughter got the flue, so I am so exhausted, plus no internet :scared1:I was a total basket case. Well for the good news...ONLY 25 days until I am at the WORLD. I did get 4 shirts finished tonight, alot of goodies for the trip bought last night. I will do pics tomorrow and post. Also for more even greater news..............:dance3: Me and DD booked a trip to the world for Nov. 28th-Dec. 5th.:yay: We got ressies at POP and with the free dining, not much cash at all. We are going to do the MVMCP and take one day for Universal and the day we get there for Christmas shopping at the outlet. Now on top of that, today was my 90 day mark and I went online and got ADR for exactly what and when we wanted:
Monday Nov. 30th-Ohana-9:45am
Garden Grill-6:20pm
Tuesday Dec. 1st-Crystal Palace-3:55pm then the MVMCP
Wednesday Dec 2nd-Ohana-8:30pm
Thursday Dec 3rd-Cindarella Royal Table-8:40am then QS at DTD that pm
Friday Dec 4th-50's Primetime-5:35pm

We thought that was awesome. We will eat at Universal on Sun Nov 29th and On Sat Nov 28th we are going from the airport to the outlet so we will catch something on the way back to check in that pm.:banana::banana: Is that a plan or what?
Just think the Halloween party then the Christmas party then I will be there for all the New Year celebrations, I just love the AP this year, well worth our money. Well I am off to bed will post pics and more info tomorrow night.

So I have some photo's for the upcoming trip: We went to Walmart-coupons in tow and got some of the following:

We did finally get Disney mail. I am getting so excited I really need the vacation and this time should be more relaxing than the last. I am really looking forward to the MNSSHP and the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Oh our pins I got on Ebay for 1.30 each with free shipping, I thought that was a good deal and they were really good ones, all but one. :cool1: And one of them I am keeping at home not even going to trade, so I will definately use them again. I hate to cut it short but I am off to Sports Authority to hunt a pair of Mary Jane Crocs for the trip.
Only 24 more days until we take on the World!!!!
