Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

I just read on Pam's FB status that she called and DCL said Castaway Club can book on 9/27 and first time cruisers on 9/28. That poor cruise desk is going to be PACKED for our cruise!!!!

Actually, those with more than 4 cruises under their belt can book at 9/21 already!

The being packed is the reason I decided to have TA look into things. Do not want to spend a long time waiting and worrying if I can get availability while I should be partying.

Copy from what my TA sent me;

Platinum Club Members (10+ Disney Sailings) can book 2011 on 9/21/09
Gold Club Members (5-10 sailings) can book 2011 on 9/21/09
Silver Club Members (1-4 sailings) can book starting 9/28/09
Never Sailed yet !! can book 9/28/09

It’s a Disney Cruise Line® first! The Disney Wonder® Cruise Ship is sailing to Alaska for a four-month season of 7-night cruises in 2011. Departing out of Vancouver, B.C., the ship will call on popular ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.
The first Alaskan cruise sets sail on May 3, 2011, with the last cruise of the season scheduled for Aug. 30, 2011.
Bookings open to the general public on Sept. 28, 2009.

Niiiiicccceeeee! DH's grandma did an Alaskan cruise and said it was just amazing! :goodvibes

First of all, you've stumped me technology-wise. How did you get your TA's quote in a quote box? That said, how in the world are DH and I going to get ourselves on 3 more cruises before the 2011 cruises so we can book excursions/Palo at 105 days. Hmmmmmm....it looks like 2010 is going to be a very vacation-heavy year for us. :rotfl2:

Don't get too anxious. Only got a basic mail stating DCL's new plans for 2011, including the 'when can you book'-info I quoted on here.

And poor poor you, having to cruise sooooooo many times. You need a serious TLC  .

Just found out both TA and myself will be a hunting we will go. She'll be my 'back up', but booking onboard should offer more incentives for myself and as it gives her more commission (who'ld know!?), that'll get me more OBC from the TA again. :woohoo::rotfl: Sounds like I'm with all of you camping out at the rebook desk at the night prior. :rolleyes1

I knew the 9/21 but I wonder why DCL said 9/27 for 1-4 cruises under your belt. I wonder if the onboard price with the rebooking discount will be better then booking through a TA.

Great Update, LMAO about my section:lmao::rotfl2::lmao: My co-workers joke around that I am going on a clothing optional cruise. :lmao::rotfl2::lmao: Honestly, I will be too embarassed! Correction, DD turned 2!

I do have a question guys. When I get to MCO (from my off-site vacation) do I have to lugg my luggage to the port or will they take them at MCO? Still confused about that. Thanks!

Congrats on moving to Deck 7, it seems like it will be Party Central deck!!!

I also bought a magnetic board for my door!

I believe the desk has a drop off box where you can place your request and then they leave you the quote under your fish.

I am curious as to what the courtesy hold is.

I recall the first time the Mexican Riveria cruises came out they almost doubled in price after the first day.

I know all you ladies have planned it.

So when is it?

2 weeks?

1 weeks?

day before?

:rotfl:I won't go into extreme details, but my oldest DD who is 26 decided that her and her BFF would be this "person" from the game Kingdom Heats for Halloween. Well, this person in the game wears all grey..so they thought it would be "AWESOME" if they used duct tape ALL OVER with no other clothes on cause they didn't want to ruin thier clothes. But to make matters worse my DD's BFF has/had pretty long hair..so she thought it would be cute to put it up in high pony tails and in stead of using rubber hair bands she used....drum roll please.......... DUCT TAPE. :rotfl::rotfl2::lmao: Well, to say they had to cut her pony tails out and now she has a cute shag hair do, is NOTHING compared to the "other" hair both of them had pulled off :scared1::scared1::scared1: when they PRYED the duct tape off. :rotfl::rotfl: I could say "oh well, they were just kids", but NO THIS WAS LAST HALLOWEEN. :lmao::rotfl2: And being the "mean" Mom I am I gave both of them a roll of duct tape in their Christmas stocking. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1
OMG - those poor girls - OUCH :scared1: but I would have dont the same thing for their bdays and christmas HA HA HA HA :lmao:

I'll bring the alcohol! I just need to decide Panama or Alaska. :confused3

Maybe I can convince DH that we need to do both! :cool1:

I am hoping to do both. Thinking about canceling my WBTA that I am booked on for next September and transfering it to the Panama Canal. I have done the TA in 2007 and have never done a PC....I really want to be on that ship when it goes to the west coast!!!!

Hoping to do a late Alaska cruise....August maybe.

I know a few of you live in Florida, and many of you have been in the Orlando area before. There is a resturant called Texas de Brazil Churrascaria on International Blvd. We have been to the one in Las Vegas and in Los Angeles and they are AWESOME. Have any of you been to this one? Or have any thoughts/reviews about them? Would love to take the kids. Let me know..Thanks :goodvibes

Where is the most current FE list? I just want to make sure that I have a delivery plan in place and don't end up roaming all over looking for FEs!

Thanks!

I recently updated the FE list on page 9 (click on the link below). I think the other deck by deck list is on page 114 but not sure if it has been updated yet.

You still have some time to decide, luckely. :goodvibes

If you ask me; cancel the WBTA. DCL has decided that Europe is becoming a 'standard' thing it seems. So those TA's should be coming along more after 2010 and 2011.

But then again, I'm biased.

:rotfl: I thought I was the only one with such a pathetic life......It totally revolves around Disney that is for sure!!! My "regular" friends think I am crazy....they just dont understand!:sad2::sad2:

I hear ya...same boat here too!!!

The photographer was nice enough to take this for me and go ahead and put it on a cd so that I can make a door magnet for the kids. I added the names and date for the magnet....it is not on the original picture.

HOW ADORABLE!!!!!! their gonna get a kick out of us all knowing who they are before they get on the cruise!!! Love that Picture!!!!!
