.

Awesome, thanks!!! :cool1: You have a safe flight, and we'll catch up with you at the parks!!!:woohoo:

Excuse me but I did leave the forwarding address my dear. Now take a left at 315 LOL.

:lmao::lmao::thumbsup2 Stop, you might get me more confuzzled than I already am!!! I am already driving through PA? :confused3

We're driving up, too. My DH has been travelling for work (grrr... Army!) since late August, so kiddos and I have spent the last few weeks with my parents in Ft Myers, FL. We're driving up that morning and can't wait to see my hubby! It will be 5 weeks since we've seen him. These last few weeks he's been in Panama with limited phone/internet access. Poor guy gets back to DC Thursday before the cruise, then turns around and flies to MCO Saturday morning. It will be such a nice family reunion on Mickey's Boat!!! :cool1:

 SWEET!!!!!!! What a special family vacation!!!!!!

In regards to wrist bands, Stacy will be waiting for us @ terminal? or should we pick them up @ Diversions at 3pm?

I am planning on being at the port first thing and hading out wrist bands until the first boarding group starts. I will also be at Diversions from about 3:00 until 3:45. Hopefully between those two times, I will be able to get them all distributed.

Stacy

Anyone else suffering from pre-cruise anxiety?

I'm a first time cruiser sailing solo with my 4 year old boy! Am I crazy?! What was I thinking?!

When I first booked I imagined how relaxing and perfect the whole trip would be....and now reality has set in...8 hours on a flight with a 4 year old who doesn't sit still...Will I lose him on the ship...Will he have a "4 year old" moment and will I WANT to lose him on the ship...Will I forget to pack anything...Is everything that I'll need on my packing list...am I packing too much... I won't bore you with the list but the anxiety goes on and on and on!:confused3

Pleeeze tell me that once I get on the ship that somehow magically it will make all of my anxiety melt away and I'll be able to relax?!

I am sure it will be smooth sailing ;) I just wanted to say....If you get on the ship and need anything you forgot... feel free to give me a call... we are in 6647. Even if you need a shoulder to just have a melt down on. I have a feeling you two are going to have an awesome time though. I did Disney with my 14 yr old and 7 week old alone and honestly it was one of the best experiences ever.

Well, we all knew the risk of cruising at the peak of hurricane season!! But we're still over a week away, so the orange one will have come and gone by then, whatever it does. Since we live in FL, my concern is if something happens while we're away and our house isn't boarded up!

I am planning on being at the port first thing and hading out wrist bands until the first boarding group starts. I will also be at Diversions from about 3:00 until 3:45. Hopefully between those two times, I will be able to get them all distributed.

We will be there early too. How will we know who you are? Do you have a pic on the Facebook page? I will post our pics so you can stop us if you see us. If anyone else wants to post pics that would be great! I can't seem to get my FB account active again. I keep trying to reset the password but it won't work. I gave up...LOL

I feel kinda "lost" in all these pages of posts. I will never know who is who :confused3 but that's okay... I can't wait to get to know everyone even if the screen names don't "click" for me ;)

Here is a pic of Matthew....

Just let me get on the ship and I will be happy.......last September I was on during Hannah. Only had 1 rough night...they did a really good job at keeping us out of the weather.

That is Great for you. Lots of :lovestruc:hug:on the reunion day. Hope it is a great one! Family is very important, just don't bring a little "Souvenir" home :eek:LOL.

Well, our kids were both born in mid-June, meaning late September is pretty "effective" frisky time...

7 days, 19 hours and 3 minutes until boarding!!! (Assuming we're allowed on by noon, preferably earlier)

:banana::cool1::cheer2:

It will be such a nice family reunion on Mickey's Boat!!! :cool1:

Awwwww, it is going to be a wonderful family reunion. DH was in the Army for 6 years (stationed at Ft. Bragg and then stationed at Ft. Gordon), but got out in 2000. I was thankful that he never had to travel (if he would have reenlisted, it would have been a mandatory overseas change of duty station).

:lmao::lmao::thumbsup2 Stop, you might get me more confuzzled than I already am!!! I am already driving through PA? :confused3

Hi again. So I have just a couple of questions if anyone would be so kind as to let me know the answers based on their experience on DCL...

1. Dinner: My son has some nice casual dressy shorts and polos that I was going to put him in for dinner. But of course I read now that no shorts at dinner. Opinions on what a 5 year old has to wear? I just want to know if it's a huge infraction. Guess just wondering does "no" really means "no" if he looks nice.

2. Corking fee of $18.00 plus cost of wine. Is a bottle of wine on the cruise more than this? I am a huge lover of Santa Margherita pinot grigio. I pay about $24.00 per bottle. The bottle of the same wine is $42.00. The cost of me bringing wine + the corking fee is $42.00. Am I dumb or isn't it easier just to let them supply the wine? What about signing up for the 25% off wine package? How much wine do I have to drink?

And pictures of the fam (Ana, Ernie, Corbin and & Paige - aka, Paigey)...

Wow, she is a little doll! That 2nd picture is a-dor-a-ble!

We're not wine drinkers, so I'm not sure about that question, but I would think dressy shorts would be ok? I think they are trying to avoid board shorts and tank tops, you know? I'm pretty sure i wore dressy shorts and a polo shirt on some of the less formal nights. I didn't get up and display it, but no one kicked me out either.

I'm postive your DS an wear dressy shorts in DR. On our last cruise there was a couple with no dressy clothes as their TA failed to tell them this and I'm sure the husband wore docker shorts most nights and she wore dressier shirt and docker type shorts.

Are Zuperdaave and I the only ones who are driving the morning of the cruise to the port? We are only 2 1/2 hours away.

No, we are driving over that morning as well we only live 90 mins. away. I can't wait ..it seems to be dragging:sad2:
