I finally bought a pirate costume for little babes. She loved it! Got a great bargain at Target. Still looking for mine...

I am glad Haileyboo's surgery went well, minus the pain. It will heal fast. My sinues have been bugging me too lately, all my life actually. Had a quick scan while at work. No abnormalities. Imagine me laying on a table and my boss walks in. She would be WTH?

Julie, I have the Q Tip's packed. I actually had a good laugh with a friend today. We went together on a cruise before and we were discussing my packing list. She asked me if I was bringing my portable table, which I did on our last cruise. Not this time, especially with excessive baggage fees.

FatCat, you better wear that "Asian Tourist" outfit. Love it!

Also, scored a great tour on St Martin today. Originally booked with DCL for about $75 which was not a great tour. Meaning, does not offer a lot of seightseeing/shopping, etc. After my 2 day research I've found a private island tour (great reviews) for $35 and babes is free! Sightseeing, Shopping, 2 beach stops and an abundance of free water, "famous" rum punch and bear. Love it. Cancelling DCL excursion in am.

Saoirse-You are so right! At 3 months the bumbo was the easiest for traveling and dining. I wish my almost 12 month old still fit. I just gave it away recently. Lucky you and Haileyboo traveling together. I would love a disney cruise vacation with my sister. Maybe when the new ships come to Florida.

2 days until we leave for our marathon drive to WDW!

The kids are almost as excited as we are Kelan who is on the autism spectrum and doesn't talk a lot, actually talked his teaching aide's ear off yesterday about his Disney trip!

Karen (Nutzaboutdisney) has packed a goody bag to keep the rugrats busy, coloring books and misc dollar store bricbrac to hand out at intervals when they say "are we there yet". The drive will be 15 or 16 hours depending on how many times the kids have to stop and on how many State troopers we see.

We are staying at Pop Century 20th - 26th. We did MNSSHP last year so we will skip it this time but we do plan on hitting the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Anniversary dinner at Narcoosee's with the Fireworks cruise following. Ain't free dining grand.

Pleeeze tell me that once I get on the ship that somehow magically it will make all of my anxiety melt away and I'll be able to relax?!

Crystal- Glad to hear you made a decision on MNSSHP. You are going to have so much fun at BLT! Are you planning on doing a trip report? I have not decided yet.

Oh, yes, I'll definitely be doing a TR. I have to find some way to fill the time in between this trip and my 2010 trip. Also, since I shoot in RAW format (photography) I've found that doing a TR makes me spend the hours and hours "developing" my pictures, instead of just letting them sit on the computer for years and years. I'll post the link when we get back in case anyone is interested.

• NutzaboutDisney is taking a different route to Orlando that the rest of her family, but they will be in the same car. Curious.
• The Winelist for the restaurants onbaord can be found on the DCL site in the Stateroom Gifts area. Curiuoser.
• FatCat reminded us about Tequila and Martini Tastings.
• The best liquor store on St. Martin is Kenny's at 108 Old Street.
• Kpadalik orders the best 2 year olds birthday cakes.
• We lamented laminating costs
• Fire14 is a good friend, the jury is still out on goofieslonglostsis (I am betting that she is a good friend too)
• Don't forget that you can utilize room stewards when delivering Secret Mickey gifts

• FatCat has some garments of questionable life, they will be tossed on the cruise. He is encouraging us to do the same. Are we sure this isn't a clothing optional cruise?

• You may have to check your Man Card at the door of the Rainforest room, but it might be worth it in the end.
• It's a race to see who gets the last post pre-cruise.

I love love love looking at the menus -- no idea why!

I'm actually excited about the menus too. We are not big seafood eaters, and are not really big "foodies" at all, so the new menus will *make* us experience new foods, which I'm very much looking forward to. The good thing is that if we don't find something at dinner to our liking, we can always grab a hamburger or pizza. However, I think that, in trying new dishes, we will probably find things that we end up loving.

Amanda/Crystal: I'm not a Taurus but am a Capricorn which is like your perfect match! So not surprising that I totally agree with you guys about packing. I want to have a choice of what I'm wearing for sure. And, DH says..."Why are you packing so much. "WE" can just do laundry on the ship." Uhhhhhh HELLOOOOOOOO. I'm on vacation. And that includes vacation from laundry. And I know for fact that "WE" can do laundry doesn't actually mean "WE", it means "I".

Only two more days of work before we leave. I work tomorrow and Monday. Then Tuesday is wrapping up loose ends. Wednesday morning we are outta here. Thank goodness for my Blackberry so i can keep up.

Tried a pirate costume last night at the store. It was a disaster. Too short, could not even bend down otherwise might give an MI to someone. Janet Jacckson moment. Still looking, but I have my pearls, earrings, etc.

We're driving up, too. My DH has been travelling for work (grrr... Army!) since late August, so kiddos and I have spent the last few weeks with my parents in Ft Myers, FL. We're driving up that morning and can't wait to see my hubby! It will be 5 weeks since we've seen him. These last few weeks he's been in Panama with limited phone/internet access. Poor guy gets back to DC Thursday before the cruise, then turns around and flies to MCO Saturday morning. It will be such a nice family reunion on Mickey's Boat!!!
