I completed my mission. I booked a couples massage for me and my sister on Castaway. I scheduled Palo's for Thursday night at 6:30PM. I'm not sure when I should have schedule it, David help me...........

Hi All,

I got the kids registered (Yes, I saw all of those other adult names listed) and grabbed a Palo reservation for 4.

The question is, do I keep my reservation or Diane's?

From looking at my Passporter and assuming we have the APL dinner rotation, then I think Thursday will be the Captain's Gala for us in Lumiere's. Therefore I grabbed a Sunday night @ 7PM, which I think will be our Parrot Cay night that's not the Pirate night.

Any thoughts on my logic from the peanut gallery?

I got my reservations. I did'nt do the all-nighter. I have to work this morning, so I decided to be sensible and chose sleep instead. (I know, I'm crazy). The only thing that was available for Palos was a Thursday dinner. Originally we were'nt going to do Palos, but I think I got caught up in the all excitement. Just wondering now though why the Thursday evening was least popular? Is there something special going on that evening in another dining room? I would have liked to book a brunch at Palos, but it looked like it was all booked up for the entire cruise. I'm still deciding on a couples massage. I'm sure DH would love one, but it's kinda on the pricey side. I'll have to discuss it with him...that is, if I see him. He is working nightshift, so we won't be seeing much of each other. When he comes home, I'm sleeping, and when he goes to work, I'm at the office! We are like two ships passing in the night! (pardon the pun!)

Folks.

I noticed early this morrning (when did I sleep?) that Palo's had a brunch spot IF you had a party of 5-6. I went ahead and reserved it. Perhaps people in here may want to group together and go Thursday at 10:30AM. Post or IM me if you are interested in going to Palo's Thursday AM. If enough of the ladies want to go perhaps you all can just make this a Girl's time. I made my reservation in my wife's name just in case.

Last night I was amazed at how fast things like Palo's reservations seemed to go as well. Although, I did get my Sunday night slot. Per suggestions in here I got an early slot for Palo dinner just in case we do not get APL rotation. That way we can go to Main dining room for the show and dessert if it is Animator's Palate night.

Giles Family, the name for the Palo reservation appears to just be the name you put the reservation under. You and select parties of 1-2, 3-4, or 5-6.

As previous post states I do have a slot for Palo's brunch on Thursday for 5-6 at 10:30am. You are welcome to reserve a couple of those spots if you want.

If all the ladies say they want to go this can be our girl's group time. Dennis, if we give them this time slot can we get Monday Night Football (Kansas City at Denver) time slot reserved for men's club time? Awwww, wait Monday is formal night too bad......guess we will have to claim another time slot for the men

Hi All,

Larry, I also booked the Palo's brunch for 3 or 4 people. I don't believe that many people will be going in my crowd, since they all want to do the Key West thing. I told my husband since we will be in Key West all day that I will meet up with them. Since it will be my birthday, I want to do my thing and drink champagne. Boy am I selfish or what !!!! Anyone who would like to join me just let me know. Sounds great if it a lady's brunch. We can all talk about Dennis and how bad he will lose at cribbage.

I also planned for Palo's in the heat of things for Thursday night at 6:30. I felt like I was trying to get Jimmy Buffet tickets this morning. I'm not sure if any of you have had the pleasure, but you use all phones, and all laptops to try to get those tickets. And then you have to sometimes go to a scalper to pay top dollar for the seats. My husband was around a crazed women this morning. I got so hyped up that I only needed one cup of coffee this morning.

I'm on my second cup of coffee at the office this morning...someone peel me of the ceiling!!!!

Giles you are to funny. I'm quite sure your DH won't mind dining alone.

I've got to go bouncing back to work now.

Larry ~ If no one claims those open slots at Palo's, Chrystina and I may want to join you for a Thursday brunch. Will discuss that with her tommorrow when I see her. Alternative of a Ladies' Brunch and a BB's (Boy's Breakfast) works for me. HOWEVER, not sure how I understand how a Formal Night event could possibly interfere with watching any sports event.

DIDI ~ Since I notice you are having a birthday (24?), I may havr to allow you to win a cribbage game. Meanwhile, I will need to trounce Becky at backgammon...

Gilesfamily: I remember being slightly confused about Palo reservations too. I hope that I'm not going alone! Hopefully Larry is right about the # on the reservations. I just don't remember putting that in.

Glad everyone was able to get a Palo's reservation, and the spa. We are staying out of the spa this trip. I had to laugh a couple of posts ago about the KTTW charges at the end of the trip. When we did our 4 day a couple of years ago, DH and I both had massages. I warned DH that they would try to sell him products and to just say NO!!! I think my massage was about $125 with tip. DH's bill....... over $300! I could have killed him! I guess after a massage by a pretty young lady that DH just couldn't say NO!! I still to this day tease him about it. Of course he still swears that those spa products were just great for his skin! He even wanted me to order some more online when they ran out after our trip! Anyway, I'm keeping DH out of the spa this trip so hopefully we won't have to refinance our home to pay the KTTW charges!

Didi: My Dh thinks I am a bit crazed too. As I was typing last night in the dark he asks me "who could you be possibly emailing at this time of night".....I told him "my fellow crazed cruise folk of course" .
Girls brunch sounds fun, but we will be in key west too........ I really wanted to do brunch but Sunday morning was the only time slot left and I didn't want to abandon DD's on our first morning aboard.

My sister will be joining me for the Brunch. The menfolk and DS's probably will check out the town and we will catch up to them via some sort of transportation. I will have two spots open and if you would like to join us just let me know.

Boys are all set for their reservation with the Lab.
