I had read somewhere that you can request a "no sales pitch" when you go in for the couples massage. Do they honour your request, or still push their products? DH is like that too. He can be talked into anything. I have to be the first one to the door when a salesman is there as well as rip the phone away from him when he is signing himself up for something from a telemarketer. (I swear he has "sucker" imprinted on his forehead sometimes!)

Hi DiDi & Group,

You didn't say you had booked a lunch spot earlier. I've now got dinner booked the same day. I thought DW  & I were having lunch at Margarittaville. I guess I was wrong.

All you repeat cruisers, would you skip the Captains gala in favor of Palo?

Let's hear some chatter out there... I need your feedback!

Maybe I'll just auction off my seat at the table for Thurs night & take the kids to the semi-formal Captains Gala. :confused3 :earboy2: :confused3 :rotfl2:

Back to work...

David

Giles: I have heard about the "no sales pitch" would like to know if it works too......I have no intention of buying anything....I'm paying enouph for the massage as it is.

David: sorry we've never done the 7day so can't give you feed back, we are doing palo's tuesday night. I If we get APL as requested I believe that is our second night in Animators so there will be no show.

I do know we will be at Margarittaville though  Hot wings here I come!!!!!

Someone was asking about booking the towel folding seminar etc....I believe you have to wait till you board to book the seminars.

Hi guys! I stayed up 2 1/2 hours last night booking things for my family and SIL's family. That website is S L O W.
I noticed some were trying to decide the best time to do brunch and massages. Before I started booking, I made a calendar of events so I wouldn't get confused. I will warn those of you who are trying for Sunday brunch, that if we get our APL rotation, then our character breakfast will be that morning at 9:45 a.m. I don't know what time your brunch would be. Hi All, :wizard:

I'm going to have to purchase a special wand and princess hat princess: for the BVP. Once the purchase is made, I'll provide a picture via my BIL to post on the board. So you will all know who to look for. Just look for that very good looking young 25 year old blonde. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rolleyes1

What would be a good time for all of us to meet up, any special place? Please send me some suggestions. :listen: I'll have a note book with all of your names, so that I can make sure everyone gets their supply of moose nuggets when they show up.

Is there a list out there with everyone on it? :confused3 I'll even make name tags, so that you will all know who you are. I just have to figure out who I am first!!!! :earseek:

I still need to hear from my BIL, I left you a message on the phone please call me! :love2:

I made the mistake of telling my husband  that we might have to do another cruise next year if this one goes over well, he's on board already.

It's time for a little shut eye so that I can say goodmorning to you all around 5:30AM.

Night all, sending pixie dust your way :wizard: ......... :grouphug:

DiDI :earsgirl:

Thanks for the itinerary cujo. Only one complaint. It seems like the time will go WAY too fast. If we all shackle ourselves to the ship, will they let us stay for another seven nights?? :bounce:

FYI folks,

If anyone is interested in high tea in Palo either Sunday or Thursday, there are tables for 3-4 Adults currently available.

Larry

Hi Guys!
We were on the cruise last year that drifted all through the Atlantic trying to avoid the hurricanes. We are looking forward to a 'normal' cruise this fall and hoping that the hurricanes have run their courses by then. We are too cheap to sail during the non-hurricane season so we continue to take our chances. Of course we know Disney will not harm their 500 million dollar boat so I know that we will all be safe.

We are the Halls from South Carolina. DM Joannie, DH Chip, DD Holly (9), and DS Harrison (6). We are looking for same age children to pal around with and go to camp with.

We have all our excursions booked and are ready to go. See ya there!

:wave2: WELCOME JOANNIE! WE HAVE A NEWBIE. Now remember our manners! We must not scare her away like we've been doing the others. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Giles family- I'm afraid if we see you shackled to the ship, we will assume your husband did it to you so he could go on his date at Palo's. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Deanna

We are still considering high tea. What exactly do you do? Eat desserts and fancy drinks? Has anyone done high tea before? Please explain. Also what is the cost? Deanna

Deanna,

This link will have some of your answers on High Tea.

Deanna's schedule reminded me that I had these dining matrix schedules that somebody produced and shared on the main boards. Of course it probably would have been nice if I would have remembered them before we all made our reservations! :rotfl: Anyway if any of you are interested, here they are

http://www.knology.net/~jwoodrum/westernmatrix.pdf

I think they came up with these before internet reservations were available. That way once you got on the ship and you were trying to make reservations these would help you to keep everything straight. But anyway, I made copies and put them in my cruise info stack.

Hi Joannie! Welcome to our thread, I'm so happy that you found us! We were also scheduled for a cruise last September, but then all of the hurricanes came and we switched to last Jan. Anyway, we had a blast and just had to go again!

Deanna - thanks for all of that info! Now, I don't have anything to obsess about. What will I do with all of my spare time? Clean the house...oh, I just made myself giggle a little bit there.

Erin - I just printed off the stuff from the link you gave. Thanks! Time to get out my highlighter!

What time of the day is high tea?

Yea!!! We have another new member!!! Welcome aboard... I'm currently planning on high tea on thurs....never been before, but I'm looking forward to it :)

Good Morning to all! :sunny:

Yup, the coffee is in my cup and I am smiling. :goodvibes

Welcome Joannie and Family, I am DIDI the offical hostess with the mostest! I will be hosting the BVP :wizard: while Dennis will be providing wonderful gifts for us all. :teeth: :rotfl2: We are still looking at a time and place to meet up, still need to hear from you all. :listen:

My party consists of DH, William and DS Patrick (8), along with BIL, David, sister, Kathy and DN's Stevie (12), Chris (8 almost 9).

Everyone be nice to the Newbie!!!! Please!!!!

I must go water the garden now, have a wonderful day everyone. :grouphug:

I only time I ever went to a High Tea was with some co-workers to a fancy hotel here in the city. We had to get all dressed up and they serve you tea in a fancy china cup. And you are suppose to raise your pinkie when you drink. I was so afraid I was going to break the cup. It was probably worth more than the chair I was sitting on. Then they served me this tiny little vanilla wafer on a big plate. I just about needed a magnifying glass to see it. However, there was this artistic dollop of chocolate sauce scrolled across the plate. I wanted to lick the plate, but I figured that was probably unappropriate.

I'm sure the High Tea on the ship isn't quite like that though.

Give me a big mug of Tim Hortons coffee and a chocolate donut with sprinkles, and let me wear my faded blue jeans and I'm happy! ;)

On another topic, I wonder ...if I book a couples massage do I get to go with my hubby? :rotfl2:

Good morning, everyone! One day closer to the cruise! Is it time yet?

I was reading other cruise meets for other dates than ours. I was doing this before booking excursions to see if they had trouble, etc. I decided our meet is definetely the most obsessive planners. No other meets can plan like this group. I am so proud of our obsessions since I am one also! :rotfl:

Julie- Just when you think everything is planned, and you can start cleaning your house as you suggested, another idea will pop from these threads and give you something else to obsess about. It happens every time I think I have my trip perfectly planned. Then "POW". :earseek: Someone on this thread writes a new scenario. Just wait. Someone will probably give us a "POW" soon! :earseek: In the meantime, you can try to clean without obsessing. Good luck though! :goodvibes

Joannie- we hope you type back to us today. Otherwise we will be scared that we lost you from the thread! So type away. Love to hear more about ya.

See ya. Deanna

Giles I heard that Tim Horton's coffee is great from my friends. I think Maine also has it since they are close to the boarder. I was wondering do the cruise rooms provide a coffee maker? If so can you bring a stash with you? :goodvibes I'm with you on the high tea, bring on the goodies!!! I personally love  Boston Creme filled donuts. My hips love them too! :rotfl:

I would have love to see you lick the plate at High Tea!

I heard through the grapevine that your husband booked Palo's and the massage already with a good looking woman, she looks somewhat like this ::MinnieMo :teeth: Didn't you want some ME TIME? :rotfl:
