Merry Christmas Everyone
Cold enouph for ya??? We didn't get above freezing yesterday and doesn't look much better today.

I'm done shopping, still have wrapping to do for the girls. Need to do some baking this weekend........
Crazy busy, but I love christmas too much to complain (too much ) I didn't get to celebrate Christmas till I was 19 so its EXTRA special to me.

Erin, what can I say??.........Congratulations???? Condolences???? Luckely our dog has a good many years left so we won't be making any decisions in the near future. Sounds like you want a smaller dog but we just LOVE our lab mix. She's only 50lbs and the best temperment you can get. The girls would stick there hands in her mouth when they were little and all she would do is gum them and slobber all over them. She did the same thing with molly's kitten.

Hi all,

Did the last school Christmas party today!!! The girls are out until Jan. 9th! Woohoo I can sleep in tomorrow! Taking the girls to see Santa at the mall in a little while. Gotta drag Holland to the doctor first to get her throat swabbed. Briley had strep last week, and then Holland said her throat hurt this morning so I am a little leary. What's another $30 plus meds right here at Christmas!

Well the dog is now at the country home, and according to her new owner she is doing well. Frankly, I'm really enjoying the quiet house in the morning with out a whining barking dog that needs to go out. (I'm know I'm pathetic) I even told Chad that maybe we should just get a cat, he looked at me as if I had horns growing out of my head! Since he loves cats sooo much!!

Well I need to fold some laundry and load some dishes before the DR. appointment. I'll check in later! Erin

Oh. PS Southernmouse (Keri) found out she is having another girl!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Goes by WAY too fast for me. You prepare for months and its over in a couple of hours.

Julie and Erin.....Imagine a 6hr car ride home post christmas with DD's together in the 3rd row seat . There were a few times they were lucky they were out of arms reach . Went something like...."NO YOU CAN"T USE MY HEADPHONES (even though I'm not going to use them) YOU"LL BRAKE THEM, YOU BRAKE EVERYTHING"!!!!!!!!

Hey Kim - I meant to tell you - Santa brought me a Toyota Sequoia for Christmas!!! I love it. I keep Jack and Bailey in different rows and car rides are quite peaceful now. Glad you had a good Christmas! Tell Warren and the girls hi for us!!

I would have seperated the girls but we had an extra passenger and ALL our christmas gifts in the second row seat.

Its raining Fat cats and Great Danes out here. The Rogue River runs thru our town and is quickly rising to flood stages. Many streets are already flooding due to full storm draines. We have an open Irrigation ditch behind our house. Prayers that it doesn't flood. The irrigation district opens up the gates and fills the canals when its dams overflow.

If anyone hasen't seen The Cronicles of Narnia.....YOU MUST!!!!!! Kids loved it. Very powerful movie.

Kim...I've been thinking about you as I see the Weather Channel and all the talk of the rain. Stay High and Dry out there! No floppy fishes needed in your backyard!!

We took the kids to see Chronicles yesterday and Meredith was very shaken at the part where Aslan was taken to the stone table. I enjoyed it VERY much and thought it was well done but thought it was too strong for little ones. She also was on my lap for the "epic battle sequence." The book doesn't go into that much detail for the war and it didn't occur to me that the film would.

Julie, congrats on the new ride! Hope everyone is getting over the holiday blues. The girls went back to school this morning, I'm really kinda sad. I just told them to go and hurry it up so spring break, and our WDW trip will hurry up and get here. I'm still trying to get all the Christmas decorations put away. It makes the house look so plain when I take them all down at once, so I've been doing it in stages! (At least that's my excuse anyway)

We bought Addison a BIG girl bed this weekend, and she officially slept in it Sat. night for the first time. I took the crib apart, and now I'm waiting, waiting,...... on Chad to put it in the attic. My baby is not a baby anymore! I told Briley that I was saving the crib for her babies! She looked at me like I was nuts.

Oh, Erin. I feel your pain. Taking down Jack's crib was so, so hard. I still get sad when I think about it. Bailey and Jack used the same one and it has so many good memories attached to it. Good luck with the transition!!

I just transferred our ressie to AAA today. January is Disney Month and they are offering $150 shipboard credit, 10% off Treasure Ketch when you spent $75 or more and 10% off non-motorized rentals on CC. AND, you can keep your discounted price and $200 shipboard credit from booking onboard. I shopped around with Dreams Unlimited, Costco, and other favorite Disney t.a.'s and I wasn't able to find a better deal. We're going on the 11/25 Eastern (unless we bite the bullet and do a Mediterreanean repo.) Now, I need to think about transportation to the port. I scrounged up enough Wendy's/Air Tran coupons for our flights home.

Erin - what a nice, long break your girls had. These two went back last Tuesday. It does look empty when the tree and other decorations come down. But, at least you have Disney to look forward to...
