It must be getting close to Christmas....when I read Julie's last email I sang it in the tune of Frosty the Snowman......

Bumpity bump bump, bumpity bump bump look at Frosty Go. Bumpity Bump bump, bumpity bump bump over the hills of snow!

Just a big "Hey!" from us Foxes. We've been so busy decking the halls, enjoying the kids Christmas and Thanksgiving parties and concerts, and, oh, cleaning. UGH. Most of the shopping is done, most is wrapped but no cookies have been made yet.

Ingrid...if you think you have it tough, this is what Santa has been asked to bring to the Fox Home...

From Spencer - a teleporter
From Meredith - a machine that can take her and her brother into a book (no surprise she's reading the Magic Tree House books in school).

I don't think WalMart is going to them up...AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

A big Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Party Elf...I know your birthday was in November and you were supposed to go back to Key West. Hope it was a good time and you had a margarita for every year of your life!

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Erin, I am trying to explain to hubby the stubornness of beagles, but his seems unfazed. He actually saw a mixed breed: Chuchuaua and Weener dog........AAAHHHHHH!!!!!! Not in my lifetime.......Sorry if I offended you "Paris".......you can have the "purse" dogs.

Deanna: Great christmas card and letter. One question: I can't tell is Kurt having fun??? :teeth:
My UPS man was mumbling something about "payback" yesterday :rotfl:

Ingrid & Erin: I feel your "Santa" pain. My DDs don't really believe anymore but Molly's list this year was enouph to make you wince. She rattled off about $400 dollars worth of stuff, including a IPOD and game boy DS..... :earseek: I already told her she would have to wait for her birthday in MAY for some things. Man the older they get the more expensive they get!!!

Deanna - That was the whole point of my bumpity, bump, bump post...to get that song stuck in someone else's head - bwah, ha ha ha, my evil plan worked perfectly. Shall I now write this: :smooth:

Don't tell my heart, my achy, breaky heart. I just don't think he'd understand. And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart, it might blow up and kill this man - whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I do love some Billy Ray Cyrus every now and again. KIDDING!

Jamie - Those are such cute ideas for Christmas presents that your kids asked for! I love it!

Kim - Hi there! Looks like Santa has his work cut out for him at your house! Ahhh!

p.s. Love Deanna's christmas card, but it made me a little sad!! I miss being in the tropical, warm weather with a Frozen Drinkie (or 3) in my hand(s).

Gee, Julie, thanks for the song going through my head. My head aches! Ha.

Glad you all liked the card. Yes, my DH looks a little grumpy in it! He did like the cruise though.

Later, Deanna

A+++ for punctuation for that "ALWAYS VERY PROPER" Noun...The Drinkie!!

We had a snow day today! About 10 inches in my front yard! Yikes! We haven't had a good deep snow like this in a long time. Bailey and I went sledding with some friends, woo-hoo!

That snow is headed our way. I'm crossing my fingers for a snow day complete with hot chocolate and cookie making.

BTW...what are the eggs that are hatching?

Jamie -

Hope you get your snow day! We had fun today, it was nice to hang out. We made puppy chow, peppermint bark and truffles!

As far as the little egg goes, I really don't know. Supposedly some kind of little critter is going to hatch on Jan. 7. The suspense is killing me. :teeth:

Helllooo!
My kids would kill for a snow day. They rarely happen out here.....but there were hoping a week or soo ago.....unfortunately everything melted my morning.

I HAVE to start baking!!!! Thats about the last thing I have to do besides finish wrappping a few things. I have to put DH's presents inside bigger boxes and wrap that.......He's TERRIBLE!!!!! My BIG kid! :rotfl: Several of his gifts are PS2 games so they are a bit obvious. :teeth:

I'm off to take Molly to the Dentist AGAIN!!!! Her temporary filling fell out today at school... :earseek:

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Howdy All,

Season's Greetings!!

Just finished cleaning up after our 12" of snow yesterday! Ouch!! It's not even winter for another 10 days or something. We also had a snow day, our 1st. This is our second snowfall. The 1st I really had to clean up after.

My youngest has asked for a PSP from Santa because we won't have to pay for it. This kid only had 3 things on his list. The PSP & 2 games. We also ask for ideas for him and he listed about 4 toys from the Wal-Mart web site for a total of about $40. He also asked about when we were shopping for the kids at my office and the people at the church. Man, I love this kid. :)

Kathy says "Hi" & still loves those Kino buys.

Gotta walk 'Elvis', this Mississippi dog LOVES snow. Man does he just have a ball.

Night all,

Take care.

David

Hey guys. If you want a snow day, come on up here to Canada. We have lots of snow days. In fact, snow days from about October to May! (groan)

Just rescueing us from Page 2 :earseek:

We'll just admire everyone elses snow. Got lots of fog though...

Julie: Love the picture. Girls were very excited to get your card. Unfortunately it looks like I will not get a christmas card out this year :guilty:

Hope everyone is doing well.
Warren and I started going to the Gym this week......GROOOAANNNN!!!! I'm feeling muscles I never knew i had....ooohhhhhhhhh!!!

David tell Kathy Hi for me :wave2:

Hey everyone! I just got back from a Neil Diamond concert! woo-hoo!

Kim - Glad you got the picture! Good luck with the gym! My legs are sore from my gym class last night!! :)

Just dropping in to say hi! Things have been crazy around here. I'm going out to try to finish up some shopping today. We have sad news at our house, Lilo is going to a new home! ;) One of Chad's employees has a lot of acerage and wants her as a hunting dog. So in a couple of days we will be dogless. The girls are already talking about what kind of dog we can get next! :rotfl2: I told them I needed a break, but we would talk about it again in a few months. If we get another dog, we have to make sure that it is something we can live with inside and be a good family pet. Hopefully the third time will be a charm! Any suggestions? Kim, tell Warren to get the beagle idea out of his head! Once Lilo is gone I'm going to order up a dump truck load of dirt to fill all the holes in the backyard, repair my couch cushion where she bit a hole in it and tore all the stuffing out, replace the moulding around the door on the back of the house that Lilo chewed off, clean up the kids rooms where she shredded a couple of Holland's books, and this was just this week! Check in later! Erin

Poor Lilo! I was pulling for you as a fellow beagle owner. I understand your pain though. Let me tell ya!

Julie- Loved the picture of the kids! It was awesome. Merry Christmas!

Love ya guys! Deanna

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

We are going good. Shopping is done except the mother in law, but that is hubby's problem. 3 kinds of cookies are baked, decorations are hung. Hubby's Birthday is this weekend, having a get together on Sunday morning, party sunday afternoon.

I feel for everyone with kids and christmas, Lora wanted a barbie Jeep, with Radio $200's and she is only 3. Can't image what she will want next year. But one of the ladies on the bus asked her if Santa is buying her lots of presents she said NO. His sled isn't big enough, but mommy is buying me lots.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
So off comes the Santa tag and on goes MOM & DAD. Why give the man in the red coat credit if she isn't.

Hope to post again soon, but work is crazy end of year then tax season.

Hey Marsha!!!! Hadn't heard from you in a long time, I'm so happy to hear things are going well!!

Hope everyone has a GREAT holiday season and a wonderful new year! You all are such a great group of people! :grouphug:
