Good Morning Everyone!!!

Guess What??????????????????? We are hopping on the WONDER in the morning for a long weekend at Nassau and Castaway Cay!!!
WOOHOOOO I am ready to goooooo!!!!!
I had a spur of the moment "Hey Eric I know what I want for Mother's Day"
I booked this cruise last Thursday afternoon! Talk about last minute plans huh???

Oh... On Thursday, July 13, 2006, make sure you'll watch Jeopardy!!!
That is when Eric will be on!!! He had the best time at Jeopardy.

We weren't really impressed with Disneyland, everything is so expensive there... even for Disney. It was a chance of a lifetime for us thou because California is not really on our most visited list I haven't been to CA since I was like 5 years old. I do really like their new Space Mountain... it is really cool!

Anyway I am only at work until lunch today so I guess I had better go do something...

Wow, what a mother's day gift. I have a feeling my sad boquet of wilted roses will pale in comparison to Castaway Cay!!!! I am thrilled for you! I am sure you all will have the best time! Happy Mother's day!

Oh, and I wrote "watch Jeopardy" on my calender for July 13! How fun!

I hope you are all doing well. I really miss our week. I can't believe it's been so long.

We are still planning on doing the 9/30/2006 Eastern cruise. Anybody else rebook? I think you did Julie but I haven't seen you post in ages.

David - We are still technically booked for that week, but it's doubtful we will go. We just bought a new house and with everything thing else, I just don't know if it's going to happen. We'll wait and see. I have until July to cancel without penalty. I wouldn't actually cancel completely, just move the date to the next fall. We'll see what happens, but I would love to go on another cruise with you and your great family!!

Hi Julie,

Tell the hubby you need this cruise after the major upheaval with the move, your nerves are shattered. Tell him that if he loved you...that he would jump on the band wagon; for your health of course, and definately book the Sept 3oth cruise with us. I'm praying and praying that you can come. I'll even babysit for free, while you go to the razul massage. How's that for a perk, just as good as an on line credit!!!

I miss you guys! I really miss trying to beat Didi to a post in the morning!

Julie- You're moving!? What? I hope not from good old Kansas. Knowing you..........you are probably moving into the Cinderella's castle at Disney World. Since you like Disney so much!

Wow! Eric is going to be on Jeopardy? So is he both funny and smart? You go , Eric! I'll set my Divo machine!

David- we initially booked the next cruise with you all, but then decided to go Royal Caribbean. So we are going on their new ship on Sept. 24. I know you all will have fun though.

Erin- Thanks for your tip on Pop Century and their buses. We just got back and it was awesome. I appreciated the help. We had perfect weather. I read 8 books about how to maneuver Disney before we went. Imagine that?! Being prepared for a vacation?! Who would have thought it? By the way, our beagle is still alive. He escaped and broke his hip by getting hit by a car. Did I already tell you that? He is so full of energy. Can I ship him to ya?

We should get together sometime over the summer, I would love to hear about all you have learned about Royal Carib. and about your trip!!! Oh, and for the record, I am not that crazy about Disney. Is that legal to say? Hee hee!

Deanna- so glad you had a good time at Pop Century! Too bad about the beagle, and NO! do not ship that dog to me. We are doing just fine pet-less right now.

Tomorrow is Briley's 10th Birthday. Chad had to leave town yesterday, so he's going to miss most of it. Here's a pic of her on her Birthday ride....

We've just been super busy. School gets out tomorrow and I can't wait!

Erin - Love the pictures! That motorscooter thing is too cool! Holland looks so cute in her grad. outfit. Can you believe kindergarten is over?? Bailey's last day is next Tuesday. I am a little sad, but I can't wait for summer with the kids. It was so good to hear from you! Hope Briley's birthday went well! Take care!

Big Hellos to everyone out there!

We are booked on the 11/24 Eastern so the kids won't miss a full week of school. Plus, I think we'll feel a little less stressed out going near the end of hurricane season. Now that we have a little cottage on the Jersey Shore, the forecasters are predicting that the East Coast could get hit this year. Geez Louise!

Kids are done with school next Friday and I've started a new job. I'm the director of a small public library. Great hours, great folks...a good time. It's just part time with a very flexible schedule so it's working out very well. It's been a long time that I was thinking about what I'd do when the kids were both in school full time. It was hard to find something part time, close to home/school and not have to work nights or weekends. Plus, I wanted something where I felt I was making a meaningful contribution to our community and this seemed to take care of everything.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy summer. Take some time to lay in the grass and look at the clouds...drink lots of lemonade (or whatever floats your boat), throw some water balloons and take some bike rides.

Jaime- Congrats on the job! It sounds perfect. I've pondered going back to work in a few years when Addison goes to school. We'll have to see when we finally make it to that time. I know I don't want to go back to teaching school, that much I'm sure of. Hope you enjoy your summer with the kids. I'm jealous of all of you that have cruise plans. I don't even venture on the cruise board anymore except to check this thread now and again.

I hope everyone is having a good summer! It has been crazy busy here. I keep waiting for things to slow down, but I don't see that happening yet.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

The cruise was great!!! It wasn't nearly long enough though! That 3 day needs to go by ALOT slower!!! I tried to get Eric to book the 10 day in September but he just wouldn't do it. Mac had the best time because he was old enough to go to the Oceanears Club this time. He kept telling me he wanted to go play with the kids. I think he only went to dinner with us once. He had so much fun at the pirate party. They have really cute "Pirates in the Caribbean Party" t-shirts now so Mac and I had to have one. We actually got to see it this time. Castaway was beauitful as usual. We got to go to Serenity Bay which is something we haven't gotten to do since our first cruise. That was so nice, just to relax and no have to worry about what Mac was getting into. I am ready to go back!!!!

Don't forget to watch Jeopardy on Thursday, July 13th to see my wonderful husband!!!
