Hi All,

How can you tell when you've tagged everyone without walking all over the ship for several hours and found out you were the last! :rotfl2:

Does the last person get to keep the magnet?

I'll have no chance of winning, we are very convenient to the main elevators.

What's that? Shh.... listen... It's my PILLOW!!!

I gotta go.

David,

I will have DW personalize each coin. pirate: So just look in the bag to see who is left. If you still want to wander all over the ship, you should save it for the pub crawl. :rolleyes1

Oh, the test I am taking is an enrolled agent test given by the IRS. :hourglass

By, you guys sure were busy posting wile I was slaving away at dinner.

Welcome abord Kem, congrats on being our newest member :)

Dennis, I can't wait for lunch! NO, I WON'T wear that dress....I'd hate to ruin thr surprise at dinner, lol. I will wear something Eeyore, though :)

Well, I'm off to bed....night all

bpicard9- Game sounds great. We will have to make sure no one gets an upgrade upon arrival though. Otherwise we will be tagging the wrong doors. Of course I am still being hopeful for an upgrade! :cool1:

Marsha- thanks for making the table sign! One will be plenty. And can you make sure to make Dennis a HUGE name tag since he likes to wear them so much? :rotfl: :rotfl: Just kidding.

Sorry, Lemsiddons, I can't help you on any IRS questions. I've been trained to avoid all and any questions asked by the IRS. Run run run and avoidance. Isn't that the American way?! :teeth: So I guess any question given by the IRS should always be answered, "Really, oh really, no sir I wasn't at all aware of that law! But if I had known......" There you go. That should be the answer to every test question. Is that cheating?

You people sound like you are all heading for bed! Sounds like it will be lights out on the ship early with this group!

See ya'll later. Deanna (that's southern talk for you Alabamers) :teeth:

Okay,

I have about five pages to read. I spoke to David last night and he said have you read the post. I haven't had time to breathe so here I am this morning saying HI to all and I will post again once I've had a chance to catch up.

DiDi :wizard:

Up to page 114....IT HURTS!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :scared:

Julie and Deanna have you thought of changing your careers? Outstanding fashions!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OH GOD I'M GOING INTO CONVULSIONS!!!!

DiDi - Welcome back, I see there will be one person up with me in the morning. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Lem - Don't worry about the spelling, hubby is the same way. The only advice I was given about the IRS was in my tax accounting class. "Make the answer simple, only answer the question they ask, if you give more info than they ask for they might have more question, you want them gone ASAP"

I will work on the sign this weekend. I can't wait to go is it time.

PARROTS CAY, LOOK FOOD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. I DEAL WITH TWIN BILL'S. THE NICE ONE (DH) WHO HAS FOOD IN HIS STOMACK AND THE EVIL ONE (DH) WHO WOULD DRIVE A SAINT TO DRINK IF HE'S HUNGRY!!!!

YUP,THAT'S THE MEETING PLACE. The time gosh, I don't have coffee in me yet. Time to make the coffee and I'll be back.

DiDi :wizard:

Hi Again,

The coffee is brewing and my fingers are typing, now that is amazing. :cool1: I'm not so sure about the time to meet, my brain is still a bit foggy. As for the gift items and swap I'm okay with that. I'll just buy a bag of Boston Baked Beans and pass out two to everyone in a baggie!!! I do mean the candy kind! :teeth: Since many of us are streching our last dollar, we could pick names and swap a trinket under $5.00 to the other party. Like one to just the Giles family and one to the McEntee family? Any thoughts?

I do have pics to post, David is coming over tomorrow, I'll have him post them of the family and the beach meeting with Marsha.

I do think we should meet on board, just for the convenice of having little ones and big ones who need food!! I know we will be there early.

The coffee is done brewing, I'm getting up slowly now......NO I AM RUNNING TO THE COFFEE POT!!! :goodvibes Ahhhh, the first sip, what a glorious thing!! Yes, I feel the fog lifting a bit here.

HI MARSH, it's so nice to hear from you again. I guess we will have to convince the others to rise and shine with us on the cruise. Dennis I know will walk with us. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I now will finish my coffee and get back on the post. I've got about 15 mins. befor the DS will be up.

Okay this may be to much info but here goes...

Five little know facts about me:

1. BS in Psychology and History Minor, Bridgewater State College, MA Graduated in 1981. Went Newbury College in Brookline, got my degree in Culinary Arts and Hotel Management in 1990. (I think my husband married me for my cooking). I flunked cooking in grade school, because I didn’t follow recipes or measured items with a cup and knife. I believed in trying to add different things which gave my cooking teacher a headache. Were was Food Network when I was young? I would have been Rachel Ray in a heart beat!!! This teacher was also my sewing teacher, read below.
2. DH and I met on a blind date. While on this date, we beat the couple who were are friends at Pictionary. It was the Vulcan Mind Meld that we both did prior to the game that allowed us to win. We like Sci-Fi!!! Bill said, he met me at the Easter Play at our church a year prior (I don’t remember meeting him, he must have made quite the impression!! ), and knew he was going to marry me. We got married five years later on August 12th 1995. We celebrate our wedding Anniversary with David and Kathy who got married the same day 6 years prior. DH robbed the cradle; he is 8 years older than me. ;) I really love him.  He’s my best friend and I would be so lost with out him. I have even learned to live in clutter because of him, at times it drives me nuts!!!! :love2:
3. We go on vacation with Kathy and David all the time. It would not be normal to go on a vacation without them.
4. I love to cook and gardening. I love the hummingbirds that come to my garden even though I only have a deck. I currently live in a townhouse and hope someday soon to have my own house with a backyard so that I can transform it a beautiful creation. Cooking puts me into my happy place. I love my gas convection oven, and I read Cook’s Illustrated. I do not have an ounce of artistic ability in crafts and art. You won’t see me making a craft book, sewing, or making magnet door hangers. I tried sewing in grade school and got a needle in my thumb from the sewing machine. Nope no sewing for me, that’s what a tailor is for!!!!!!
5. I work for Mellon Financial, prior to that GE for many years. I’m in the financial realm. The most important job that I have is being a mother. And the best job I’ve ever had is being a mother!!! The rest of the jobs I have and have had in the past do not rate in comparison. I love my DS!!!

Five things about my love  (DH):

1. BA in Art, Grad. From Mass Art in Boston. Currently a Creative Director in his own business. He is currently looking for full time work. Was the Art Director in Sunday River, ME. Has a bunch of buddies who won Olympic Medals in Free Style Skiing. Boy did we rack up the miles with traveling back and forth prior to us getting married. Not to mention the phone bill.
2. His passion is Art and Skiing. I have beautiful paintings on my walls. He had a showing at the Copley Society in Boston. He is a great swimmer (I do not know how to swim). When he was younger he broke the Olympic men’s record in free style and his instructor wanted him to go to the Olympics. His father didn’t have the time and Bill never got the chance. Bill is also a great skier, expert. I am just immediate in that sport.
3. Bill turned grey at a very early age, it runs in his family. Very handsome!!! :smooth: I’m blessed we don’t have to watch every sports game on TV. He’s not a fanatic, he likes sports but would rather watch Lord of the Rings over and over and over again. Okay, it’s all of us. We really do not like network TV. Especially the garbage they have on it. If he’s not watching Lord of the Rings, it’s FOX News.
4. Bill is a teddy bear, very even in temperament and sweet. He’s overprotective of Patrick and a bit of a worry wart. He has a dry sense of humor. Bill is not good at fixing things in the house. I rely on David or my brother.
5. Has anyone watched Cheers, remember Cliffy? That’s my DH, he knows a lot of little facts, I’m quite sure he will share them with you all. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Five things about my little love  (DS):

1. 8 years old. Birthday is November 17, 1996.
2. Going into Third Grade on August 31, 2005. His third grade teacher is a very good friend of ours. It’s his adopted Aunt. Since he goes to Christian school, they are a bit more flexible. Though, he will have to bring his homework with him. We are having dinner with his adoptive Aunt and Uncle tonight. They know about this trip, no problem. Since I worked at his school, I am also good friends with the Principal; it’s nice to have clout!!!
3. Video Games, Video Games, Video Games. Soccer and of course swimming, riding the waves. It’s pretty scary to see him dive at swimming. He’s good.
4. He’s tall, and has the combo personality of both DH and me. Very polite and considerate…I beat him!!! Only joking. He’s very sensitive and sweet. Since he’s an only child, he likes to hang out with adults and tries very hard to have conversations. A bit goofy at times, that’s from me. A bit moody at times that’s from DH. He likes to joke around and his favorite buddy is Chris. David’s DS, also my sweet nephew.
5. DS is an early bird, on my schedule not DH, who is a night owl. He also is a great eater; he loves my cooking and will try anything. Loves Swordfish and his favorite meal is tortellini and home made pesto. No grated cheese from a box for him, he likes his Parmesan and Romano cheese freshly grated.

Now, I think I'm caught up on the five facts thing, I must get coffee.

DiDi

Not much else happening here on the Mexican Border ... Been here all of four days and boredom is setting in :confused3 I am going to have to find "something interesting" to do. DooDah DooDah

Dennis

Hi again,

Yup, going to the beach again. We got new boogie boards, Patrick broke two of them. The versions we just bought are bigger and made solid.

Deanna and Julie since I still haven't gotten any formal attire would you be able to pick one out for me? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: What does the BVP holder wear? I showed my DH the pics and he still can not stop laughing. I was up so early this morning that I thought I would wake everyone up with my laughter.

Dennis, didn't you know that I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Cribbage? :rotfl: In order to graduate I had to pass the course called CRUSH DENNIS!!! :love2:

Well, I must get ready. Til later!!! :grouphug:

Our conversations go something like this:

DH: What's all these small packages?
Me: Oh, that's some moose lemonade I picked up.
DH: Moose lemonade? What for?
ME: For the trip
DH: Why do you need moose lemonade for the trip?
ME: Well, to wash down the moose nuggets, of course!

Next day, while he is peeking over my shoulder at the screen:
DH: What are you looking at?
ME: Dresses.
DH: Ugh. Who wears these dresses?
ME: Oh..all the people we will be sitting with at dinner.

And of course..my favourite:

DH: Who the heck is Ingrid??

You are funny. The end of story!

Lem & bpicard9 - The gold coin thing sounds like it would work great! I'm getting excited about the trip! Woo-Hoo!! :sunny:

Didi - I am insanely jealous of your cooking skills! I would love to be able to cook more interesting things, I just get stuck in the rut of the same things. And I don't like cooking! I think it's just because I am bad at it. :teeth: By the way, it sounds like you have done a wonderful job with your DS. He seems like a sweet boy! Oh, and my husband and I have a significant age difference betweeen us as well...more than 8 years! :goodvibes

DIDI ~ Wear Julie's selection for the BVP Baton Holder :wizard: and I will give you a "street" head start... :rotfl2: Did they tell you at Cribbage College that the "Crush Dennis" is still experimental research?

Julie ~ Does your DH know you have being doing bad drugs? Where do you find those things???? Do you have bad dreams?

Dennis

Morning everyone---

I still can't believe how talkative we've been lately!

Didi, love the dress....I'm sure it will be beautiful on you.

Dennis--I'm not sure. Do the two of you have a fav. place to eat? If not, it there a restaurant/park that you would lke to eat in? Maybe I can make suggestions based on that?
