OH YES :goodvibes
Ingrid, how could I forget, don't forget your tiera!!

i am going to be outnumbered by beautiful fashion models :teeth:

ErinC ~ Great Idea for Deanna to make a Barney's Brood Sign! Can use it for gatherings anywhere ... Could use it like the signs they have at WDW where everybody follows the signs ... :rotfl2: Those things drive me NUTS!!!

Becky ~ Okay with lunch. I suppose I should tell Chrystina  and ask her where she wants to go to lunch. She WILL have some comment. :rotfl2:
Will you be wearing the Rainbow Dress so you will be easy to recognize? :rolleyes1

Erin - I finally got two more pictures downloaded.

An example:

This will be the place that Belle will sign:

This is will be across from the first page, and I will put a picture of Bailey and Belle when we get back:

Julie, that book is great! If I decide to do that, mine won't be quite that elaborate since I would have to make 3 of them! But it looks awesome! Thanks for the sweet comments about the girls pics.

Kcatoir: Yes we are on the right. My sister in law is the blonde. There is one picture of just our family of five. It seems strange to look at those pics now. My hair is straight now, and DH has lost about 45 lbs since that pic! Holland got her hair cut off to her shoulders, and Addison is much bigger now. So in essence... we don't look like those people at all now!! :teeth: Well Briley pretty much looks the same.

Deanna, got those signs done yet? :rotfl2: If not it will be something else for you to lose sleep over tonight!

Hi thanks everyone, Daughter has changed a little maybe I can send and updated pic, I just had them done at Walmart. My picture there is also about 18 months old.

Erin - love the pic daughters are adorable.

I will check out the other thread tonight after someone goes to bed. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Mom is taken her tomorrow night I can't wait. Just me and hubby.    We can sleep dance.

I also book my husband to go see his Sister and Brother for Thankgiving day weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the house to myself. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I get the clicker :earboy2: :earboy2:

Wow, :earseek: Marsha, the clicker!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen our clicker since we got married. How exciting!

Love the pics of everyone. Now we will kind of know who we are looking for at the first meet. Just imagine everyone 18 months older and less weight. Sounds great to me! :cheer2:

No, I don't think I will volunteer to make a Barney's Brood sign. I will leave that up to someone else! :flower:

After reading the thread on the main board about DIS meetings, it sounds like it will be hard to get together. At least we have dinner together so that will keep most of us chatting. Everyone except Ingrid. She had mentioned she isn't very chatty unless she has a computer screen in front of her. So if anyone wants to say hello to Ingrid, we may just have to take her to the computer area on the ship. Then she will come alive. :rotfl:

I need to clean house as kids have friends coming over in one hour. I keep stalling and sitting down at the computer instead!

Smilingmouse and Julie- I saw where you've invited a friend on the main board. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they join. Our luck hasn't been good lately. At least we scored with Marsha! :Pinkbounc

See ya. Back to cleaning toilets. Ugh. Deanna

Yeah!!! Someone new. Welcome lemsiddons aka bpcardi's Dh :teeth:

Even if we don't have a "formal" Dis meet I think we will be seeing enouph of each other, at dinners, excursions etc....that we will be able to keep connected. Sounds like everyone will be pretty busy on their first day aboard. Especially those first timers, its pretty overwhelming.

Congrats Marsha, no kids WHOO HOOO.....don't waste all your time sleeping ;)
I have no control over clicker between DD's and DH its a lost cause :confused3

Deanna, great idea to put ingrid infront of the computer.....got to keep her chatty :teeth:
Enjoy cleaning those toilet :cheer2: I did that Tuesday.....

Great work Julie on the scrapbook. :cool1:

IS IT TIME TO GO YET??????? :hourglass :moped:
Thank goodness its not I have lots to do still :earseek:

Julie,
That book is gorgeous. I love doing those kind of things, but just never have the time. Did you have to buy those Disney stickers somewhere special, for instance, the Belle dress? I've never seen them in our craft store. Well, yes, I've seen the flat ones, but not the "poofy" ones.

Hmm..everytime I think of "poofy" I think of Deanna's dress. Wonder why.

Hey Deanna, I can just bring my laptop to dinner! (I'm still determined to be historian). Then I'll have a monitor to hide behind!

Wow..I wish I could get my DH to come on the boards. Then again, maybe it would'nt be such a good idea. He is a horrid speller (he even admits it), and you probably would'nt understand what he is typing.

Besides, I've been telling him all about you guys! And since I love to add flare to my topics of conversation, I may have exageratted a bit here and there...a bit. Or maybe even made up a few things just to keep the conversation interesting. So if you approach him to say hello and he backs away in fear, it's only cause I'm a good story teller. :rotfl:

Does the airline try their hardest to keep family together? I would just really like everyone to sit together. I know what's going to happen. There will be two together...and one somewhere else. And DH will sit in the "somewhere else" and have a nice relaxing flight, whereas I will be trying to entertain a 6 year old for six hours. Life is not fair.

Hi All,

You guys have been on fire this week!!!

I can tell all of our anticipation is building. :hyper2: :hyper: :hyper2:

I'm thinking we should circulate a list of all our names and room numbers. We can they try and get signatures from every group (think yearbooks). This would be good motivation to meet everyone.

I think we'll be at the dock around 11:00 or so. I'm with Dennis though on wanting to get aboard ASAP. But I'm sure we'll be able to do at least a little meet & great before we board.

I think we should all get custom T-shirts or hats or something so we can find each other easier. I'm going to find out what a custom T-shirt would cost. How many shirts would we need? 20?

Hmm, I've got a project!!

Back later.

David

[Ingrid - DW, bpicard9, is typing this because I'm not the greatest speller either and she's a bit more computer savvy ;) ]

Hello again. :)

I don't know how much I'll be able to be on because I'm taking a test for two days before we leave. So, I'm gonna give you my 5 things now before I get tied up.

1. My sign-on name Lem Siddons is the main character in my favorite Disney movie, Follow Me Boys
2. I grew up on a family farm.
3. I like old movies, any of the old westerns or WWII, and Disney classics
4. This year was the first year I visited Disneyland. Have been to WDW 3 other times. Last time for our honeymoon
5. I like playing pretty much all sports, I only like watching a few, and I never memorize stats on players or teams.

Does that mean we have to write in there to "stay sweet" and "never change"? The usual yearbook writings?!? Hee, hee!!

Ingrid - I bought the stickers at Michael's. It's a craft store around here. If you are worried about the time it takes, I whipped out that bad book in under 10 minutes. I have no talent and that's the truth. Oh, oh and tell your husband I am a lion tamer or that I break wild stallions or something! That's exciting!

I know what you mean about the flight. On our last airplane ride with my family of four, the seats were only 3 across. So guess who was right in the middle of our 2 kids? ME! :crowded: So I entertained a halfway scared 2 year old and an excited 5 year old. Meanwhile...my husband enjoyed a relaxing flight while reading the paper and magazines. Nice. But anyway, I think that the people on the flight will be willing to move around a little to let the three of you sit together. People are generally nice about stuff like that.

Lem - So what sports do you like to watch? And are you scared of your wife since she is a fencer? :3dglasses

David - If you need any help putting anything together, let me know, ok?

Our conversations go something like this:

DH: What's all these small packages?
Me: Oh, that's some moose lemonade I picked up.
DH: Moose lemonade? What for?
ME: For the trip
DH: Why do you need moose lemonade for the trip?
ME: Well, to wash down the moose nuggets, of course!

Next day, while he is peeking over my shoulder at the screen:
DH: What are you looking at?
ME: Dresses.
DH: Ugh. Who wears these dresses?
ME: Oh..all the people we will be sitting with at dinner.

And of course..my favourite:

DH: Who the heck is Ingrid??

Ingrid- You are one of the most hilarious people! :rotfl: :teeth: Your last post has me back on the floor in pain again. Just when I thought I had recovered from the dress laughter, you started me going again. That was the funniest post ever! :teeth: :teeth:

LemSiddons- Welcome to the group! :wave2: Please don't let us scare you away. What type of test are you taking? Maybe one of us will know all the answers!
If the question is on formal styles, just as me or Julie!
If the test is on adventure, please ask Dennis.
Any technical questions should be addressed to David.
Any organizing questions, please ask your wife!
If the test is over airline travel, don't ask Ingrid.
If the test is over cribbage, ask one of the LADIES!
If the test is over Disney properties, ask smilingmouse.
If the test is over hurricanes, ask ErinC.

If you need anything such as nice formal wear for dinner, we can help ya out. We don't mind at all. If you need the St. Louis Cardinals to beat the Kansas City Royals, well then you don't need any help with that!

Check back later. Deanna

Hi all, bpicard here. I'm too lazy to log off as DH.

Ingrid - you're killing me :rotfl2: :rotfl: It's because of my laughing so hard at your posts that Lem decided to sign-on :teeth:

Everyone, Lem just had an idea re: the Magnet Game.

I'm making a big Mickey Hand that says "Tag, You're It" and Lem thought we could then leave little magnet gold coins like in Pirates of the Caribbean on the doors that had been tagged. (I'll make a little bag filled with the "gold" that can be hung on the fish next to the room) This way everyone will get a little something and people passing the hand on will know if the cabin has already been tagged.

see ya later :wave2:
