I was also reading some about the Navigator's series. Do any of the DCL veterans have more info on this? What is it/ When is it/ Adults only or Kids allowed?

Sorry, I have never heard of this. Is it an activity like towel folding or something? Where did you read about it?

:flower:

Where is everybody? :upsidedow We need something exciting to talk about. I just booked the "Exotic Rasul" treatment for me and my husband. I have heard some interesting things about it. :hyper2: Now, I just have to hope that Jack will be ok in the nursery for about an hour. I'm hoping that since he will just be a couple months from being three years old that he will be able to go to the Club with Bailey.

Have a fun day! It's almost Friday!

Julie - have you been reading the "sovenier" thread re: the Rasul ;)

We booked, too, and would be okay with a #3 , but each time I've been pregnant my DH has been completely accurate about predicting gender, size and day of delivery. His next prediction is that the Twins are next :scared1:

I'm off for San Diego today and will be in Disneyland next Fri.

Take care all :wave2:

bpicard9 - Yes, I read the "souvenir" thread about Rasul. Definately not wanting that kind of souvenir!!!! We certainly wouldn't want to end up with twin souvenirs - eeeekkkkkk! Have a fun trip and be safe!

We were thinking of the Rasul as well, but I think we will maybe consider that for our next trip. You can book it online now, right? Ya'all can let us know what's it's like after the cruise!..but spare the x-rated details :teeth:

I've been pre-occupied with a wedding lately. :bride: :groom:

Hi everyone,

Been busy, just checking in.

Don't know what navigator series is, I will have to check passporter for that.

Now I may need to go read the "Souviner" thread..... :confused3 ......I have heard of the rasul though. Dh REALLY wanted a massage so I booked a couple's :teeth: . We will NOT be taking a "souviner" home.. :scared1: . Guess I just have to go shopping in Cozumel and pick something else up :rotfl2:

Glad to have you "Ingrid" :goodvibes ....Now I am envisioning you tall with Blonde hair and a Svedish, accent. :rotfl2:

I'm off to get things together for Camping, Probably won't be able to check back in till Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone :jumping1:

kim

kcatoir:

Thanks. I would rather be envisioned as a long Svedish lady than ..errr...let's see...the Svedish Chef on the Muppet Show?

Bork Bork Bork!! :teeth:

(ok..now I'm being just downright silly)

Howdy everyone!
Everytime I read this thread I'm laughing at the computer screen. You guys are crazy!
Julie- love the pirate costumes. The one I was looking at on the web was short sleeved though. What is your experience on the deck? Is it too hot to wear long sleeves at 10 at night for the party?
Ingrid and Gringo. Sure has a ring to it, doesn't it? I am so excited you picked my name! I thought someone else would try to name you though. You are quite the comedian. I should have named you a female comedian's name. :rotfl2: We are going to sign you up for comical entertainment along with someone's husband. I can't remember who said their husband was a previous comedian. Who was that? :confused3
Julie- if your son doesn't want to go to the nursery for the Rasul, maybe you could send him on the pub crawl with the rest of the group. He might really have fun! :rotfl: :faint:
bpicard9- I'm jealous of your disney experience coming up! Have fun! :jumping1:
Gee, I wonder where Dennis is today. Mr. Adventuresome. He is probably wrestling an alligator on the banks of the Amazon. I hope he takes some pics for us to see how big the gator really was! :hyper: Actually he is probably parachuting above the Amazon to try to land on the floating alligator's back for his target. Maybe his nickname should be Jeff Corwin. Do you get that show in Canada, Ingrid?
Have a great night. Check back later. Deanna

That would by my funny, funny husband that is the stand up comic. Or I guess I should say, was a stand up comic. He hasn't done it in a couple years.

I didn't even think about the long sleeved pirate costume. He is probably not going to be comfortable. It was cool on the deck at night, but that was in January, but that's a big difference compared to September. Hopefully, it won't be too warm. I'll have to bring a back up cooler top for him. At least he will be cool enough in the restaurants. It was always cold in there to me!

I don't know that I would be the best parent leaving my son in the hands of pub-crawlers! :teeth: I'm sure he would rather be there though, instead of with babies. I am REALLY hoping they'll let him try the Club. He's been potty trained for months now!

Have a good night!

Cujobugs: I think you will be surprised when you meet me. I’m actually pretty quiet unless I have a monitor to hide behind.

Julie: My DD got the postcard today! Please say thanks to your DD for her. My DD just loves getting mail. :goodvibes She will be sending something out to her this weekend!

Speaking of clothes...it's my DH that is gonna have to go shopping! He owns nothing but sweatpants and t-shirts. Although he is fearing the inevitable :scared: , I'm going to have to take him by the hand and go clothes shopping for him.

Hi Everyone & Ingrid too!!! :wave2:

Sorry Deanna - NOT wrestling alligators or parachuting (why jump out of a perfectly good aircraft :confused3 ). NOT in the Amazon although if given the opportunity, I would go - in a heratbeat!!! Just visiting with my sister at her hobby farm in Whitefield, NH. Her and chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and whatever menagerie of animals wander through ~ Beavers, coyotes, and Moose - YES - I did collect some extra nuggets :rolleyes1 Does anyone plan to go parasailing at Castaway Cay? Have thought about doing it but I am always curious about how much fun it would be to DROP into the water from up there ... Might be too tempting for me...

Of course - after my stint in the ER last week, probably should start to think about calming down my activities. Didn't tell you guys, but, last week I spent the night in the hospital in ELP, We THOUGHT I was having a stroke or anuerisym - All sorts of nasty things based upon symptoms. However, in the end, it appears that the herniated discs in my neck slipped and caused some severe muscle spasms. Those BIG muscles that run up the back of your neck to the occiptal lobe of the brain. VERY VERY painful. NOT an experience I want to repeat anytime soon. NOT to mention all the poking & prodding that went on at the hospital. :scared1: Will this slow me down? NOT!!! :bounce: All is well now as long as I don't do anything to agggravate it. Do you think that means alligator wrestling? :rolleyes1

David - It would appear that we need to have a "naming ceremony" for Julie & bpicard since they appear to be planning to bring home some "little souvenirs" from the cruise. :rotfl2: I LOVE that commercial!!! :rotfl: Guess we better come up with some more names ~ I am assuming that Julie will want us all to be Godparents.

DIDI - Where are you???

Well, I wish I could say I was getting a reprieve from the heat but it has been 80-90 here in Northern New England with matching humidity. Fortunately, it cooled off at nighttime, Have finally parted ways with the "rented kid" but he will be here to spend for the rest of the summer with his Grandmother. WOW - Teenagers!!!!

Anyhow, off to investigate the beaver pond before I play some golf. Actually worked yesterday ... I need to take a few days off!!!

Dennis

Hello, Dennis! Good to hear from you again. I am so sorry to hear that you had a terrible night in the hospital! :worried: But I LOVE the fact that you aren't going to let it slow you down!! :teeth: By the way, there will be no need for a naming ceremony for me! No more offspring from this mama :p

Ingrid - I'm so happy the postcard made it there safely! Bailey has been looking at her Capt. Mickey booklet alot! She keeps asking how many days until we go. Good luck shopping with your husband. I find that it is harder to shop with Clint than it is to shop with my 2 kids! He is much less patient

Dennis: Ouch! That's gotta hurt. I certainly know what it feels like to have a slipped disc in the back, so I can just imagine what it would feel like in the neck. :headache:

I don't know if anyone cares, but I just an Oriental Trading magazine in the mail today and they have a whole section dedicated to pirate stuff. They even have pirate costumes for $12.95 for boys and girls. There is an adult one in there as well. Web address is www.orientaltrading.com Just thought I'd let everyone know. They also have glowsticks which are fun for the deck party at night. They sell some on the boat but they are very $$$! Bye!

Howdy all,

Julie- thanks for the website. I checked it out today. But I have just finished purchasing my kids' outfits on ebay. My first ebay purchases ever. I hope it works well. Now I am motivated for me and DH to join in fun too. I've been looking at costumes. I think I may settle for wearing a pirate hat. Anyone else with me?
Sorry to hear about the hospital stay, Dennis.
I still haven't found information on Navigator series either. Anyone know what they are talking about?
You all have talked me into a Rasul. We booked today. Yippee. No souvenirs coming home with me either. Sounds fun. Has anyone ever done this treatment in this group that is willing to admit it?
Have a good night. Deanna

Hello all!

Deanna - WOO HOO to you on the Rasul!! I am excited to try it out. What day did you book it? I will not be in pirate attire, but I would love to see some of our DISers dressed up!! Congratulations on your first Ebay purchase. I love Ebay!

Night!

We booked for Thurs. afternoon!

Where is your pirate spirit? I'm looking for a hat even if no one else is going to be wearing one! :sunny:

See ya. Deanna

Well, they give you that cool pirate bandana at dinner, so maybe I'll wear that. I think I had it on for a short time last time, so there's my pirate spirit. pirate:
