The Xcaret excursion is highlighted in my Passporter! I still have another 15+ days though to decide. I can't get an opinion from other members of the family, so it's solely in my hands. I'm thinking either the Xcaret or the Chankanaab Park, or the Catamaran. I wish I could do them all. I checked the Xcaret website, and the pictures there were incredible!! I can't see myself floating in the underground river..but then again...when in Rome...as they say.

I finally caught up with the thread. I'm letting David do all the planning for me. I just can't seem to function lately.

Dennis, I'll let you choose my special gift, as long as it's not moose scats.

Barney's getting his stitches removed tomorrow, and I promise to pack him up for the cruise we can do the BSR (Barney Stateroom rotation). Giles gets him Sunday, Julie on Monday, Dennis on Tuesday, Deanna do you want him on Wednesday? Kim and Jamie you'll just have to pick straws for Thursday and Friday! Keri do you want to take him home?

Dennis, I just love the picture of your cat Socrates, I showed it to my hubby. Bill just cracked up, his paw tells it like it is.

David is getting stuck with Patrick in Cozmel. I'm so happy that we can get together for the excersions. I think we have to make the cashectomy on July 11thfor the cruise. Then I plan on booking my massage....... I also want to sign up for the wine tasting. What I really want to do is to go back to the kitchen meet with the chefs and check out how they manage to prepare all that food. I'm not sure if they allow it, but maybe if I plead with them and tell them that would be my best birthday present ever ..... a girl can hope!!

Got to go and ice my neck and take my drugs now....

Dennis, I know what you mean about those hynerated disks got a few myself. Went to two neurosurgeons, one said surgery, the other said it will heal it just takes time. No surgery for moi. When people ask me how I feel, I tell them not with my hands today

Good Morning!!!

It will be a pleasant 90 degrees today. Off to the beach , got to start my base for the cruise. For those who do not know the Queen's English...we are taking off in the caaah, we will pahk it next to the watah and go swimming. For dinnah, we will have hot dogs with our mustahd.

We don't live nearah Reverah (Revere), MA or Hahvid yahd ( Harvard Yard), but in Eastern (Easton), Ma. With my Queen's English you drop the ah's (r's) where they should be and add the (r's) where they don't belong!!! Dennis, David am I correct? Just ask my DS (Kathy) she will agree with me. Since we both came from the South Shaw (Shore).....

So when we all get together on the cruise, I will be offering a crash course on the Queen's English according to Didi, and since I am still the proud BVP Baton Holder , I now will be correctly addressed as the Barton Holdah!!!!

Good mornin everyone. My lovely daughter allowed me to sleep until 9:30 this morning. This is VERY unusual..but I savoured every sleeping moment!

I use to play crib online at zone.com. I haven't play there for a while, but it's my favourite online crib. They put players on a rating system, so it can get very cut-throat, but it has nice graphics. If anyone wants to join me there, let me know. I use the name SnowPoint43. It's a good way to boost your ego, because I don't play well at all!

DIDI - My apologies ... Apparently, there is no scientifically defined difference between scat, nuggets, and poop or other such items that are Shipped High In Transport. Being the strange and insatiably curious guy that I am, (and having to wait for a teenager to get out of bed), I decided to research it. Did you know there was an entire science devoted to SCAT. Just imagine your child coming home and saying "Gee Mom - I want to be a scatologist when I grow up"

Anyhow, so that's my apology ...

However, as a parting note, here is a tidbit of information from one of the imminently qualified PHd's of Scatology: "With moose, for instance, if the nuggets are elongated, chances are they were left by a female."

I will never look at animal signs on the trail the same way again ...

My DS watches the Animal Channel, Steve Erwin, Jeff Corwin, (not shure of the speling). If my DS decides to be a Scatologist, he can quote Steve Erwin, "Isn't that moose scat a beauty, isn't it a lookah?!?!"

Jamie, the count down is on . Are you just sitting at your computer waiting to book, or is it the phone? How romantic, a couples massage. I just mentioned it to my DH, he has never had one. Maybe I can convince him, if not I'm going to have to wait for my count down to book one just for me. Nothing better than a massage....

Julie, I love the outfitt also, your DS will look very dapper. On the way home from the beach we stopped to buy some slacks for Patrick and button down polo's. I have a suit for the formal night for Patrick, but if I can find a bargain on ebay for a tux, I might get one for DS and DH. They have some pretty good prices and it's cheaper than renting a tux.

Giles, I'm going to have to set myself up for cribbage and then give you my name. We can practice and kick Dennis's butt! .

I must rinse the sand off now from the beach and put dinnah (dinner) on the table.

I'm starting to rethink my decisions re: not doing any excursions...does anyone know how much tickets are for the trolley/tramtour in Key West? I know it is $25 through Disney, but I'm wondering if it will be cheaper to do this on my own....I'm also thinking of the GC island tour---has anyone done this?

According the the Passporter, the Conch Tour Train or Old Town Trolley is $20 on your own, and $22 through Disney. From what I understand is you don't stop on the Train, but the Trolley makes nine stops.
