Princess Oliva - I'm from the South Shore too. Where abouts are you from? I'm an Easton chick. We are flying out on Friday night at 6:50PM on Jet Blue. Are you flying Jet Blue and when? If you are going out Friday night, maybe we can meet up and introduce ourselves. :wave2:

Hi Didi. I am from Hanson. I spent many a nights in Easton when I was in college, love the town. I am flying Jet Blue, however I think I would win for the last to leave. We don't leave Logan until 9:00 on Saturday morning. I hope that the weather will be better than it has been the past couple of days. I would love to meet you and your family. Early Happy Birthday. I will look for the girl with a champagne glass in her hand!

Buenas Dias!!!

Bill ~ Not Sure yet. Quite possibly. :teeth: Depends on what equipment I haul along (if any). Something need to be reported? :confused3 Cute joke.

bpi ~ Thanks. :sunny: Just doing my Moose Nugget inventory. :cool1: Needed a cross-reference.

DIDI ~ Here is a countdown for you. NO stress. :earseek: I've got it under control. If I need any help with it, you can subcontract your worrying to Ingrid. :earseek: She's a PRO.

:hourglass :earboy2: :hourglass

Coffee is ready ...

Thanks for sharing the "cuddles on the veranda" story.
I was a little nervous about sharing the story of my Mom.
A guy could lose his membership to the Y-chromasome club
by sharing anything like that.

Bill

Just wondering if you are about to disappear for a week before we all start looking for blue T-shirts on the boat.

You've kept things stirred up. If you aren't on the post we will feel your silence.

We looked at Wilderness Lodge 2 years ago. It is a spectacular place. They almost make you believe you are just around the corner from lake Louise. Except for the blazing heat and a possible alligator encounter you would never know.

Bill ~ Stayed at Grand California @ Disneyland last Valentine's Day. Always like the "rustic" stuff. I am the outdoors type in my family. :confused3 BUT, I do like "living to a standard to which I would like to become accustomed". I assume you are talking about Lake Louise in British Columbia? GREAT PLACE!!! Have had DVC membership for over ten years now, so we have plenty of opportunities to swap out resorts. First time at WL.

Whatever do you mean "kept things stirred up" :confused3 Just a quiet "not too smart" kinda guy from Charlestown. :cool1:

Thinking about buying an inexpensive notebook today ... lightweight, 3.5#? enough memory and cpu capacity to almost make it worth it. Chrystina  has been hinting for ANOTHER machine to mess up. Oops, I meant for Guard Duty! And hinting at a DVD player &&& ... Anywho ... Being somewhat anal when it comes to weight ... (YAK REVOLT!!!) I have located a generic machine that appears to have all the minimum essential CPU (+)capabilities ... SO, the bottomline is, if I get it, I will still be out there somewhere in cyberspace. If not, well ... I'll probably still figure out some way to reach out and "stir the pot"... :rotfl2:

Blue T-shirts? How can I be wearing a blue T-shirt when David has them all? If I have a T-shirt on, look for a DEAD FISH SKELETON shirt or Hat. :earboy2: By the way, I have this "extra special" gift for DIDI but you may want to "clear it" first... :rotfl2: Otherwise, I might get whacked! :earboy2:

More later ...

Dennis

We have no excursions planned on Key West. So we are open to go anytime. Just let me know!

Well, my hair is highlighted, my toes are manicured, I've started to pack! I just can't believe it is here! Even my DS11 is having trouble sleeping at night. He is just so excited! He keeps dreaming about it. Too cute. I'm glad he's excited. For all this time and effort, I sure hope they have fun!

Marsha- Thanks for thanking me for the shirt. But I'm not the one who purchased them! I'll be happy to take the credit though!

We're not as chatty tonight. Everyone must be packing and watching the weather reports!

See ya. Deanna

You look M-A-R-V-E-L-O-U-S D-A-R-L-I-N-G :wizard:

Getting excited here too, Had another cruise dream lastnight.
I've noticed our chattyness has slowed the last few days. Everyones busy getting ready :cheer2:

I've got to be out of the house in about 30 mins.

List of things to do today:

BJ's run-got to get the coffee beans
Walmart run- needles, thread, film, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. etc.
Bob's Store - new sneakers for me
Dry cleaner- pick up suit's for trip, drop of pants
Merril Shoes w/Patrick to get a pair of dress shoes.

Leave by 12PM, the 2PM appt. for the deluxe pedicure.

Thursday night is the nails, my nails won't last that long if I get them done today.

Hair was done last Saturday, the partial highlight and cut. My curly hair goes into shock after it's cut, it takes about two weeks to become normal. This reminds me I must pack my straightout shampoo and creme along with the hair gel.

I'm doing the Champagne brunch for my BDAY on Sunday, I think I should be done by 12PM when we get to KEYWEST. Now, someone may have to lead me by the hand for the shoe store after my BDAYdrinking. :drinking1 Any volunteer's? I can blame the champagne on my spending spree. :rotfl: :rotfl: Any of you ladies who would like to contribute to my BDAY experience may buy me a pair of new sandals. ;)

Hopefully, I'll have my new Driver's license prior to leaving. You should see the new pic, it's terrible. :scared1: I had to wear my glasses and my hair was so curly and frizzy. :scared: Gosh I wish I could burn it!!!!!

We'll I must sign off now. Be back soon. :wave2:

Deanna are you up yet? :cool1: I gave up on Julie and Kim. :rotfl:

TROPICAL DEPRESSION SEVENTEEN DISCUSSION NUMBER 1
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
11 AM EDT SAT SEP 17 2005

SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES THAT THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED EAST OF
THE WINDWARD ISLANDS HAS ORGANIZED INTO TROPICAL DEPRESSION
SEVENTEEN. THE DEPRESSION CURRENTLY HAS A CLUSTER OF STRONG
CONVECTION SOUTH OF THE CENTER...OTHER CONVECTIVE BANDS OVER THE
SOUTHERN AND EASTERN QUADRANTS...AND GOOD CIRRUS OUTFLOW. THE
INITIAL INTENSITY IS SET TO 30 KT...AS 40 KT WINDS SEEN IN A
QUIKSCAT OVERPASS THIS MORNING MAY HAVE HAD RAIN CONTAMINATION
PROBLEMS. AN AIR FORCE RESERVE HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT WILL
INVESTIGATE THE DEPRESSION THIS AFTERNOON.

THE MOTION IS A RATHER UNCERTAIN 305/8...UNCERTAIN BECAUSE OF
UNCERTAINTIES IN THE INITIAL POSITION AND HOW MUCH THE CENTER OF
THE SYSTEM MAY HAVE REFORMED DURING THE NIGHT. STEERING CURRENTS
ARE UNUSUALLY WEAK FOR THAT PART OF THE ATLANTIC...AND THE CYCLONE
IS EXPECTED TO MOVE RATHER SLOWLY NORTHWESTWARD AROUND THE
SOUTHWEST SIDE OF A WEAK MID-LEVEL RIDGE FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS. THE
LARGE-SCALE MODELS FORECAST THE SYSTEM TO PASS EAST OF THE LESSER
ANTILLES...ALTHOUGH MOST OF THEM DID NOT INITIALIZE THE SYSTEM VERY
WELL. THE FORECAST TRACK IS A COMPROMISE BETWEEN THE FARTHER EAST
GFDL AND LARGE-SCALE MODELS AND THE MORE WESTERLY BAM MODELS AND
LBAR.

THE CYCLONE IS FORECAST TO BE OVER 30C WATER FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS AND
THE SHEAR IS FORECAST TO BE LIGHT. THUS...STEADY STRENGTHENING
SHOULD OCCUR. THE INTENSITY FORECAST BRINGS THE DEPRESSION TO
HURRICANE STRENGTH IN 48 HR AND TO 95 KT BY 120 HR...AND THIS A
LITTLE MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN EITHER THE SHIPS OR THE GFDL.

THE CURRENT FORECAST TRACK DOES NOT IMMEDIATELY REQUIRE WATCHES OR
WARNINGS. WATCHES OR WARNINGS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PORTIONS OF THE
LESSER ANTILLES LATER TODAY OR TONIGHT AFTER THE POSITION AND
MOTION OF THE CYCLONE ARE BETTER ESTABLISHED.

FORECASTER BEVEN

David ~ Saw that on the satellite this morning but didn't want to bring it up!

SO Here's a NO HURRICNAE JIG from me...

 :cool1: :cheer2: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cheer2: :cool1:

Kim ~ Don't laugh, I do have a set of "travel waders & wading sandals" for warm waters. :rolleyes1 Hmmm I have a leightweight travel rod too! :earboy2: There are fish in the lake at WL too!!! NOW ... look what you have done! Gotten my piscatorial thoughts flowing again!!! :earseek:

Dennis

David ~ If you look at the 3-5 day forecast for TD#17, it looks like we will squeak by... It currently appears to be E-NE ~ However, will require watching (and LOTSA dancing) as Saturday approaches ... If ship can sail around Key West and get few miles west, things should be fine. Based upon current projections and other weather anomalies in the area. HOWEVER, juts to be sure ...

I NEVER wear nylons. I hate them. I have a dress or skirt (some just sundresses and casual skirts) for every night and NO nylons. I even got a whole wedding party to veto nylons one time. Open toe shoes are meant to show off our cute pedicures. Here's another hint ( I think it came from Glamour mag.) rub a small amount of baby oil on your legs before you go out and they will have a gleam about them like nylons.

We stayed at the WL on our trip before last. It was "MAHVELOUS!!!" :goodvibes

Seriously, it was one of the most visually impressive resorts in which I've ever stayed. I spent an hour shooting the place (with my camera, of course). I mean, where else can you have a river start in your lobby that runs all the way down into your swimming pool?

One week from today!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :cheer2:

EDIT -- Whoops! This is Eric, not Season... it logged me in automatically under her name and I didn't notice until it was posted.

No nylons here. No thanks! I wish I had a little more of my summer tan left so I wouldn't blind you all by legs, but I don't. Anyway, still no nylons here! :)

Didi - I was up at 7:00 am this morning, which is good for me, especially since I didn't go to bed until 2 am. I am draggggggggging. I may actually have to be in bed by 11 pm tonight.

Kim - Well, it sounds like you have a terribly exciting day planned for today. I will finish laundry on Wed. and pack the last few things. My poor kids hardly have anything to wear because I have packed most of their stuff. Hee hee.

Howdy everyone!

No nylons. I haven't worn those in years. I always just wear open toed sandals!

Oh goodness. You sway away there you little hurricane! Let me do one of Julie's modified hurricane dances! :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :dancer:

Hi All,

Good work so far. TD#17 is projected a little more north than earlier!

:cool1:  :cool1: :cheer2:

Here is a five day tracking map of Tropical Depression #17. I know this can change at any time, but it doesn't seem too bad does it?
