magnetic sign (thanks deanna!)
highlighters
my traveling medicine cabinet
kids' t shirts for the characters to sign
nighlight (because we are in a windowless room)

What am I missing?!?

Everyone's stories about the shoe excursion are hilarious! Luckily the males in our group are scuba diving that day. I won't see much of them! We are free!!!!!!!!! Plus they won't know how much we spend this way!

Deanna ~ Do you know if there is any way to go scuba diving in Key West without certification? I used to be certified a long time ago, but not anymore. There just weren't enough coral reefs up here in Boston Harbor to keep me interested. But Key West, now that's a different story.

Well, I hope not to ruin the whole trip for everyone, but bad luck tends to follow me around. Sorry.

Speaking of duct taping Julie........I was watching the food network tonight (Didi will be proud!) and the discussion was about a group of ladies who joined a food group. They go to each other's houses once a month and make meals and learn new recipes. They all met each other off an online chat group. Other people warned them before they met, "Are you sure you want to invite people to your house when you've only met them on the internet? They could be axe murderers." Anyway, the ladies ended up naming their group the "Axe Murderers" because everyone warned them about meeting each other over the internet!

So maybe we could be the Axe Murdering Barney's Brood. Doesn't really have a ring to it, does it?!

That last forcast showed that tropical depression going very close to key west where my beloved sandals are sitting there waiting for me. sigh.
