Well, for what it's worth it didn't seem like that big a gamble back over a month ago when we originally applied for our passports. We're having to re-apply because the original papers were in New Orleans when Katrina hit.

Still, we were told we should still get them before the cruise... but there's a good chance when you see us at the cruise I won't have any fingernails left (being a nervous nailbiter and all)...

Might it be easier for you to get birth certificates from your state office with the raised seal?

I still don't have shoes to wear for formal night, and its not for a lack of shopping . My dress is white so simple black won't do. Anybody mind if I bare foot it??? I have a pair of fall back somewhat dressy sandles but wanted something a little nicer. So everyone, NO LOOKING AT MY FEET AT DINNER OK???

Kim - Last time on formal night my shoes were killing my feet so I walked around bare foot and carried my shoes with me!!! Dont Laugh.... but I hate shoes so I stay barefoot as much as possible!!! And I think it is heriditary because Mac is not a big fan of shoes either!!! He comes in the house and takes his shoes and socks off!!!

After you mentioned about a pedicure, I have to share a funny story.
For my wedding six years ago, I decided to spoil myself with a pedicure.

Ok, I have to explain. Tall woman have BIG feet, and in my case, I wear a Size 13. (Deanna..I hope those shoes you picked out for me come in XXXL)

Ok, so first I go into the spa, and they make me change into a bathrobe. For most people the bathrobe would fit fine, but it my case, the robe stopped somewhere near my upper thigh. Then they make me sit in this elevated chair with two tubs at my feet where I'm suppose to soak my feet. First off, I could hardly fit my feet in the tubs, and secondly, here I am with my feet about two feet apart sitting there with a short bathrobe! So here I am trying to tuck in my bathrobe between my legs as much as possible so I don't flash anyone, trying to cram my big feet into these little soaker pails.

Needless to say, I never went for a pedicure again.

From one tall woman to another... How tall are you??? I am 6'1" Eric tells me that I can't wear shoes with heals on them because I am already taller than him!!

DIDI- these are probably the last of the matching Easter dresses that I made the girls. I had to smock the waist, because no way was Briley wearing smocked at the neck!

I have a copy of this picture in Sepiatone , a 10x13 hanging on my bedroom wall. When my girls are screaming at each other, I go and look at the pic. and pretend they love each other!!

Thanks Erin for posting the pics and, everyone else, thanks for all the nice compliments. We think Baylee's pretty cute too, but we are kinda biased As a matter of fact, I'm missing her pretty bad right now. She spent the night at the in-laws and I'm picking her up at 1:00 pm. Such a weird feeling not to have her here fighting over who controls the keyboard.

Dennis, I am so glad you agree with me on the new sewing machine. Would you mind putting in a good word with DH on the trip??

I need hair and nails done as well, and I'm feeling pretty bad that I didn't have the hair done this morning while MIL had Baylee. I'm not sure when I will find time now, and I absolutely cannot wait until I get on the ship because I had a bad experience with that last time.

David (I believe you're the one who asked), Bunco is a great excuse for a group of ladies to get together and eat and chat. It's a dice game, where you have 12 people, sitting at 3 tables rolling dice over and over again which requires no skill. There is a scoring method too, but I won't go into it. Basically it's just a social event and an excuse for the husbands to keep the kids I think I gained 5 lbs last night becaue I just kept eating and eating and...well you get the point.

Well off to get a shower without being interrupted by little one. Very weird feeling.

Okay girls I told DH that I am saving him $$$$ by me and my DD going to get our hair done, nails and pedicure before the cruise because on the cruise it would be so much more. My gals on vacation for the next week so I am going to the one she recommend so I am hoping?

Wow!!!! You were all chattering away for the last few hours!! I love everyone's pics...except the cat, lol....the cat is scarier than our "formal" wear!!!

Can I join the shoe shopping excursion too? One can never have too many shoes...esp. if they are on sale (trust us Dennis, lol)

I have to rush out of work mid morning to take DD to the Orthodontist, and rush back.

i got my magnetic paper last night....WOOO HOO now I can finish my door signs.
Julie i twisted my foot last night at the store and it still hurts....not my ankle luckely. I guess the UPS man is safe for now

OK now I'm going to HAVE to get my hair done pre-cruise. My cut is scheduled for Thursday morning but now I have to find time for the highlight. Wouldn't want to be the only one with the dreaded ROOTS!!!!!

Man.....Not only is Didi a fabulous cook who can whip up a feast in minutes, she is an inshape beauty.
I don't think I could keep up with you Didi, that would take more coffee than I can injest in a life time.

I have hopes of getting in some exercise on the cruise but I'm not staking my life on it.
