When you post a pic for just one post, don't you have to do it through an attachment? Otherwise it goes as your signature on all of your posts. Correct? And at the bottom of my page it says on my posting rules that I may not post attachments. Why is this?
deanna
No, just reply as usual and then type

Okay, here is my pic test. We shall see if Julie is a good teacher or not. This is a pic of DH and DS at the lake on the boat on Labor Day Weekend.

Good Morning, :cool1: :sunny:

Erin, what awesome pics. There seem to be a bunch of good looking families out there!! Keri's pics are great too. The Ladies on this thread rock!!! So much talent. Deanna even posted a pic. Wow, I've got to do one too without the help of a DH or BIL.

Once again Ladies, thank you for the night time chatter support. Is there some 10 step rule I need to follow for being a member of the night time chatter group? :confused3

I think someone out there will come up with one for me. ;) :rotfl:

The travelling coffee pot is cleaned and pack since last night. Also I transfered my reward points. I have 182 points :cheer2: what a cat Barney is!!

Well time to get a mug of coffee, maybe I'll save a cup for the DH, naw!!! :goodvibes

Any joiners for the early morning bird group? I'll post the 10 step rule if you care to join me. :rotfl:

Didi :wizard:

Good Morning!!!

Just getting ready to do that "commuter" thing. :confused3 Due to operational aspects of this job, work does not start until 0730! This is NOT a good thing since I am programmed to start at 0530!!! :earseek:

ErinC - Great pics ... Baylee will be a heartbreaker in the years to come. Such talent with the dress. You probably deserve one of those embroidery-sewing machines from Santa. :teeth:

Well ~ everyone have a great day - off to the salt mines!!!

Tap ... Tap ... Tap ... That's just me wondering what to do with myself for an hour!!! I can see that their will probably be a short run placed into the early morning routine!!!

Hi Deanna  DIDI must be on the commuter train by now :moped:

Dennis

Hey!!! I just noticed that I am no longer a Mouseketeer! :confused3 It appears that I have gotten a "promotion" to a DIS Cast Member.

Congratulations on the promotion, Dennis.
I wonder how that works. Every 500 posts?

I'm soooo tired. Work is hounding me to get everything done before I leave. Get this though. I work 28 hours a week, and they have two full-time staff replacing me when I go on holidays. I think a talk with the boss about a raise after I come back from holidays is in order.

Chantel had a fever of 103 all day yesterday. I could'nt figure out what it was, as she was'nt complaining of a sore throat or sore ears. But she seems fine today. :confused3

I can't knit, I can crocket but haven't sence my daughters baby outfit. I do a little sewing it has to be a straight line.

Hubby went for an interview yesterday, and last night there was a message on the voice machine wanting him to call back to discuss the possition I think he has it. :goodvibes :goodvibes

I went to the store last night got a new batterie for the cam corder, and a memory stick need to figure out how to use it.

Love the Pictures of the families every one looks great and happy.

Dennis welcome to the early morning crew.

DIDI - great rules I might need to get rule 14 added for myself or maybe we could just be partners. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I must do some work today, yesterday was very busy.

:rotfl2: Deanna, :rotfl2: stop it!!! :rotfl2: The :rotfl2: shoes :rotfl2:

Didi :rotfl2:

Instead of the snowmen, I think you should personalize them with the Mickey Head paint swatches!!! Maybe use velcro so you can change the color to match each and every ensemble on your cruise!

I have a dress to the ankles not sure if its suppose to be that long, but being short the normal knee dress is an ankle dress. I am planing on wearing the same dress both nights just wearing the sheal for formal and taking it off for the semi formal, its machine was so I can wash between nights if needed.

I also need to get sandles at Kino, don't tell DH I am going to blame him for forgeting to pack my shoe so I need to buy new ones :cool1: :cool1:

Wow! Erinc posted pics while I was typing. What awesome pics! I love putting faces to names! You both have beautiful families. Carissa is in bed but in the morning I will show her Briley's pic. She looks so different in the new pics. She's growing up fast!
Southernmouse- my children have red hair also. Your daughter is adorable. What a sweetie pie!
Thanks for posting the pics. I LOVE PICS.
Now I'm off to bed. I hope my crazy cat is sleeping and not in attack mode like he was in that pic. Nightmares nightmares nightmares. Thanks for the laugh, Julie!
Deanna

What beautiful families. Three redheads here too! I said before, you'll know us...we're the Weasleys!

Good Morning again,

Yup, around 8:11AM the train pulls into South Station, Boston MA. From there I walk just about 12 minutes at a fast pace to the job site. This walk is just less than 1 mile. At lunch, it’s a visit to the gym, which the use of the Stairmaster takes place. The steps on taken on the Stairmaster is just less than 3 miles at an uphill mode, proceed to the weight room for some work on the outer and inner thighs. Followed by stretches and Abs. At the end of the day is a fast jaunt to the train again. Following day pretty much the same only weights are used for the arms. During the fast paced NE gal’s week, lunch will also included Tae Box and Midday Muscle. You have to break up the routine a bit. All you lovely ladies probably think I’m this skinny chick…..Nope I’m a middle aged women trying desperately to get rid of the bulges. The cellulite cream does not work :rotfl: :rotfl: so hence, I’m trying to at least tighten up. I’m currently taking Estrin D a Dietary Supplement which is specifically designed for menopausal and perimenopausal woman. This is to help speed up my metabolic rate. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: I’m hoping if I mix this with extra caffeine, I’ll make it to 1AM. :rotfl2:

Dennis, here is your work out schedule for the week of the cruise:

Get up by 5:30AM
Run to room 6098
Drink a cup of coffee
Run up to the deck with Didi
Do a fast paced 2-mile walk
Run to the gym
Stairmaster
Weights
Abs
Proceed back to 6098
Take a cup of coffee to DW
Go to breakfast with DW
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Hey, I shamed my DH so much he wants me to pack his workout clothes.
I think that I may actually lose weight on this cruise.

Deanna my good friend welcome to the Early Bird Group. :cool1: We do have to lay down some rules here. 8:02 AM is on the right track but for the next 10 days you need to work up your stamina. By September 23, 2005 I expect a posting at 5:45AM. :earboy2: Julie, okay 7:30AM will do. pirate: Kim, if you want your DH to get going, 7:15 AM for you. ;)

Good morning everyone!

I forgot to mention that the teacher meeting last week went well. They will only excuse 3 of the 5 days, but she gets to make up all the work, so that's all I care about. Her teacher sent home a 2 page list of makeup work yesterday. Briley was a little overwhelmed, but I think she'll be fine. When I requested the conference, I never told the teacher what it was about. She was relieved to find out that it was just about our vacation. That made her much happier to see me! ;) I do remember the feeling when I was a teacher, especially my first year, when a parent would call and request a conference, I would get a knot in the pit of stomach. I would be so worried I had done something wrong and they were coming to chew me out!

DHMecentee-I showed my DH your lovely weather report from AKL, he cracked up! Especially the Wilderness Logde part(that's our favorite resort).
Hopefully no new weather reports from the boat this year!

Deanna- I know the feeling about the kids growing up, yours look so much different in the lake photo than they did in the photo with your sis-law and kids. Addison is getting so big, not a baby anymore and it makes me so sad. Maybe it's time to think about another........ Oh, I promised DH I would never utter those words again! :teeth: I guess I just have to drool over Southernmouse's new little one when it gets here!

Well, I need to get Addison dressed for preschool. I was actually thinking about getting a pedicure this week. I have never had one. I'm so tickleish that I don't think I could stand someone messing with my feet. But I just might give it a try! Making the hair appointment is a must! I'm still doing some last minute shopping.(who am I kidding, I'm always doing last minute shopping!) :rotfl: I have a room mom meeting for Addison, Open house at Hollands school and Girl Scouts and soccer for Briley, probably won't get to catch up with ya'll till late tonight!

Erin,
After you mentioned about a pedicure, I have to share a funny story.
For my wedding six years ago, I decided to spoil myself with a pedicure.

Ok, I have to explain. Tall woman have BIG feet, and in my case, I wear a Size 13. (Deanna..I hope those shoes you picked out for me come in XXXL)

Ok, so first I go into the spa, and they make me change into a bathrobe. For most people the bathrobe would fit fine, but it my case, the robe stopped somewhere near my upper thigh. Then they make me sit in this elevated chair with two tubs at my feet where I'm suppose to soak my feet. First off, I could hardly fit my feet in the tubs, and secondly, here I am with my feet about two feet apart sitting there with a short bathrobe! So here I am trying to tuck in my bathrobe between my legs as much as possible so I don't flash anyone, trying to cram my big feet into these little soaker pails.

Needless to say, I never went for a pedicure again.

Eric & Season ~ Obviously you like to gamble? No Passports yet? :confused3

Well, for what it's worth it didn't seem like that big a gamble back over a month ago when we originally applied for our passports. We're having to re-apply because the original papers were in New Orleans when Katrina hit.

Still, we were told we should still get them before the cruise... but there's a good chance when you see us at the cruise I won't have any fingernails left (being a nervous nailbiter and all)... :earseek:

Ingrid - I can see where you wouldn't want to do the pedi again! yikes! I have never been in a robe, just hiked my pant legs up really high.

Deanna - Looks like Friday for lunch won't work for me either. It's the ONLY time in the next 9 days that my hair gal could fit in a cut, highlight and pedi. Maybe we can pick another time?

Didi - I really want to try to keep working out during the cruise, but I have a crazy feeling that will NOT be the case for me. I don't like to get up early at all! I usually go to the gym at night. And I won't be doing that on the trip - that's for sure!!! :teeth:

More later! Jack has a dr appointment in about 20 min.
