We are going from Dec 13th to the 20th at Disney, and then leaving on the 20th to go to grandma's in Largo , Florida until Dec 27th.
I started a posting with the rate I have so far, but I will have to look for that other one for December.

Prices have moved down quite abit today. Alamo is in the 260 range for a minivan, national is 335, dollar is 243, and enterprise is 325 - this is based on all codes i have and am tracking with right now.

How many days are you renting for and do the above prices include taxes? We're doing 9/6 - 9/15 and the best I can find is $275 (taxes included) for a minivan through Costco and Enterprise (booked a week or so ago, the prices now are mid $300s).

What codes are you using for Alamo? I tried the codes listed a few pages back but it was mid $300s with Alamo.

Your right a few years ago I would not have touched them but since then Hertz bought the company and made them their "discount" rental brand in 2009.

I've used them for the last few years with no problems, they use the the same rental fleet as Hertz that's why listed as "in terminal" renter now.

FYI Alamo rates down again this afternoon -- $10 less than this morning. I'm down to $548 all in for a 2 week minivan rental picking up at MCO and dropping off at FLL.

Alamo rates down again today -- I'm now at $532 all in for two week minivan rental.

Good catch on the lower Alamo rates. Costco Travel is down to $317 for a minivan 9/6 - 9/15. My $275 Enterprise is still the better deal but finally things are moving in the right direction.

Between Alamo, Enterprise, Hertz, and Dollar is one better than the other?

I personally like Alamo because you usually get to pick your vehicle and I've has a lot of free upgrades over the years. Are you using the $35 off AA code on Alamo? That knocks it down an extra $41 with taxes.

FYI another plus for alamo is they cap their toll tag fee at $6 I think while others go up to $15 or so.
