My rate went down again....I think I'm driving my husband crazy with constantly changing the reservation, but I'm keeping track and canceling the old reservation as soon as I get the new one confirmed. We are now at $189, for an Economy car for 12 days. I used our Insiders code and the AA coupon code.

When double checking my current reservation with Alamo for next month I see that my confirmation online mentions "American Airlines Valley Offer" where I put the coupon code to save $35.

I printed out the information from carrentalsavers.com that shows no printout is required .. I'm just curious if others have had success using the code AD2359FDF or will I have problems???

If you are worried about the code, just sign up for the American Airlines frequent flyer program, it's free. And if they ask for your number, then you have it

I just did the American Airlines frequent flyer discount ID# 7014136 after signing up for AA's program and Coupon Code AD2359FDF. The price for a mid-size Sept 11th-18th is down to $121.14 from Alamo.

The good news is my Sam's membership had expired so I switched over to Costco. So with the Costco contract ID #7014627 and the American Airlines coupon code #AD2359FDF the price is down to $110.85 for a mid-size on Sept 11th-18th from Alamo.

Just wanted to let you all know I used the AA Valley offer in May with no issues and I have see many many people on the boards use it with no issues. Print the AA member card just in case but I've never seen anyone have an issue with that code

Right now I have Alamo 09/20 - 09/30 Standard for $154.73 using the Costco code and the AD2359FDF coupon. I am still hoping that it will go lower.

Is anyone finding a lower rate with a different combo of codes/coupons?

Edited....I went on Costco's site and the price you mentioned didn't seem to include tax, after tax it was $225....let me know if I misunderstood. If not, I got a better deal using the AA code and an Alamo Insiders code. My before tax price is $116.20 for 9/20-10/1. My after tax total is $189.39

OK, I am just not finding the great deals everyone here is getting. Can anyone help me? We are renting out of tampa airport. Dates are 9/22 through 10/2. Picking up at noon and returning at noon. We really would like a convertable but I am ready to just get a mid size SUV. The best I can find is National for a convertable for $449.00 including the taxes. The SUV is $359.00

Do you have a Costco card? I have an Enterprise link, not sure of their price right now but it gives you 10% off, you just need to actually have a card # to enter.

Is that price the BEFORE the Taxes, Surcharges and Fees?

Using Costco contract ID #7014627 and the American Airlines coupon code #AD2359FDF (same as I did) I got a quote for $149.85 for those dates on a standard size. With the taxes, surcharges and fees the price was $176.64 total cost.

I've been using Alamo's site directly as Costco's system won't let you add the AA coupon and wants payment up front. Using Costco contract ID #7014627 and the American Airlines coupon code #AD2359FDF here's the quote for a compact on your dates:

I just tried them, your right I don't think anyone wants to rent a BMW 528 for $659.99 + taxes and fees...lol
