Hi all, have just booked a flydrive through Virgin for Sept 2011. Have booked a villa seperately so all thats left to do is the tickets.

Planning to do as much as poss over 2 wks so looking to go to all Disney parks inc both waterparks, Universal, IofA, Busch Gdns, Sea World, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.

Have been looking around and just wondered where you all tend to get them from? Do you stick to UK based websites or happy to go elsewhere? Also are vouchers instead of real tickets a hassle or worth it if found cheaper?

Grateful for any help!

Firstly let me say Hi and Welcome to the Dis.

You certainly look like you will have your work cut out trying to cover everything in 2 weeks, and you will find it a struggle to get in any repeat visits if there is anything you particularly like. One bit of advise I would give is to have a look through other peoples trip reports, especially those that have done a 2 week trip, as it will give you a real indication of what it is possible to do and how many rest days people had to have.

If you find somewhere that has a price on tickets that you are happy paying, and they send vouchers instead of tickets, I wouldn't personally consider it too much of a hassle.
On our last 2 trips we had vouchers from Virgin and went to DTD the evening that we arrived to exchange them for tickets.
It's personal choice but it works for us :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advice, and great tip on changing vouchers at DTD as wasn't aware you could do that.

We're a party of 9 and only DH and I have been before so everyone wants to visit as much as possible. We are aware though that this doesn't leave us time to revisit parks, and will be a busy holiday rather than a relaxing one! Was thinking of making the waterpark days ours relaxing days, although not sure if that will work? Planning to just try and do as much as we can but realise it will be a struggle to get around all of the parks, especially with little ones! Just means we will have to go back another year to do the bits we missed!

I'm glad you have started this thread. We too will be a party of 9 next Aug/sept and want to do as much as possible. My family are on our 3rd trip but our friends will be on their 1st and only. I was trying to work out the most economical way of purchasing our tickets. Any help gratefully received. :)

Hi, we are going 2 wks on fri and bought our Disney Ultimate Tickets direct from the disney shop, they were the cheapest and easiest. If they don't have them in stock there and then they will order them for you and you pay when you pick them up! I ordered Orlando Flex Tickets from Travel Republic, quick delivery and actual tickets not vouchers again at a really good price!
