Good morning everyone!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, mine was very busy, as I hosted Christmas at my house this year. Shawn had to work, so I had to do all the cooking and cleaning myself. Kellie got a Wii from Santa this year, and absolutely loves it...have to admit, it is pretty fun!

Shawn wants to go back to WDW in April, but I don't think that's a possibilty because Kellie will be having MCAS testing in April and May. But maybe we can squeeze a trip in after her final tests in May. If Shawn wants to go again, who am I to say no???

I can't believe it's going to be 60 degrees here today, a week ago we had a huge snow storm, and the week before that we were sitting in the dark for 4 days due to an ice storm.....very strange weather for December so far, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come!

Have a good day, I'm off to convince Shawn that he should take me and Kellie out for breakfast now!

I have been around the block more than a few times and I never remember a year when folks did not talk about the unusual weather. How can it be unusual if it happens ALL the time. However this particular year does seem to be at odds with what we normally expect, all over the country as well. Maybe all this stuff will make the rest of the winter more temperate and mild and so even out to be yet another 'normal' year. I hope, I hope.

Timmie, you are a glutton for punishment if you keep up with the temps at Orlando compared to where you are. BTW, I bet folks are a whole lot quieter in movie theaters in Philly these days.

Wic, I hope you got your breakfast out. Sounds as if you sorely deserve it. We have gone from ice to heat as well.

Diva K, I hope you get your skiing in and without any bumps or broken bones. I have the downhill part done pat, it is getting on and off the lift and up the hill that I do not care for.

Nice lazy day here. c/d's to make, cleaning floors and doing odd jobs. Hope to finish watching "It's a Beautiful Life" today before it gets dropped from Netflix Instant Viewing. What's up with that? Lucky for me I like odd things and not much main stream. Going to order my machine today.

Well.. I am off Jan. 3,4,5 and 6 and nobody wants to go for a quick trip... with a roundtrip credit on our belt and the $49 a room AP night... nobody is insterested...

But I was able to entice my mom to spend valentine's day in vegas.. let's she if she change her mind....

work is pretty slow right now.. Thank God!

Thanks to the economy, I'm off from work all this week.

Shawn ended up taking us to Olive Garden for lunch yesterday...guess that beats eggs and toast!

Timmy, I'll let you know if and when we decide to go back to WDW, I really can't justify taking Kellie out of school for any amount of time leading upto her MCAS tests....from what I've heard the 4th grade tests are alot harder than the 3rd grade tests were. So if we go, it won't be until the end of May or maybe the beginning of June. Her birthday is June 3rd, maybe we can pull off a birthday trip for Kellie.

I'm watching Rachel Ray make turkey jerky chili right now....she makes everything look so easy. So I've been out of work for 3 hours now, and I'm bored as heck......guess I wouldn't make a very good stay at home mom! I'm thinking it's time to go hit the mall, this week off could do alot of damage to my checking account!

Just waiting on them to figure out what they are going to do with my back seeing that I have 2 blown disks and cysts and a node in T11- T12 and the L4 - L5 so we will see but I feel okay actually my back feels pretty good right now.

I did have a Christmas note to send and should have posted it...since we are still celebrating Christmas until January 6th, maybe will post it anyway.

Why didn't you mention this sooner (okay, so I wasn't here). I just gave away my Southwest free tkt!!! And I so would have lo ved to go this weekend. That $49 ap rate did have me dreaming about a couple of weekends ago. Oh, well...I could only go from New Year's day thru sunday and those are different dates than yours anyway. Hope you do go!!

Darned it, I would have loved to have read a TR from Timmie and Minnie&Nana, was sure to have been interesting. We would have had to hook MN up to an IV when the trip was done. Keeping up with Timmie is just not possible.

I am in a quandary. I just received, snail mail, the 40% off offer only it is my SISTER's name! I got her a room years and years ago and ever since everything good comes in HER name. Figures as she is the Golden Child and I am the Step Child.

For instance, she is presently on a cruise to Key West, Honduras and other parts, paid for by someone else just for her company. Guess I run in the wrong circles.

Off to call Disney and see if said code can be put in my name or is already and then to book a March and a December trip, maybe.

Bet many others do not too. The rates for March were horrible. Also I had forgotten that they no longer extend an offer if you check in during the time period and stay on. Too rich for my blood. Bet things change though. I will keep an eye on the code thread and see what happens. I feel like I am in a discount store where they mark the prices way up and then advertise a sale. Bummer!

That is a bummer!! More and more it seems Disney codes are only to lure us in and then bang, not good for the dates we hoped for.

Maybe a general code will come out....or we'll be visiting the Swan/Dophin or, god forbid, a DTD resort? No, no, no....not for me...if no official Disney transportation to the parks, then thanks but no thanks.

Hey SG,

We were informed 2 weeks ago that half of us in the sales dept had to work last week, and the other half had to work this week. I worked the 2 days we worked last week. So this was my week off.

We're holding our own as a company, but our monthly numbers are certainly way down.

I'm hoping this is only temporary!

I know what you mean...since I've been in PA visiting I've been invited to join two different trips to Disney (one in late January with friend and her family and the other in July with my Aunt and cousins...) that I can't accept
