Sept 2005 Roll Call...It’s Finally Sept! Are You Ready? Come Share Your Enthusiasm

i started a new thread on the Dis Meets board for mnsshp on sept 30, friday opening night.

sign in there and give any info you choose to.

if we have enough people, we could have a mini meet.

we can designate certain times of the evening to meet at a particular place.
that way little by little, we can meet each other. spend a bit of time together then go on our way with our families and friends.

except for me, i am going solo on this trip.

leaving the disney hating hubby at home with the cats and sons.

Hello

DH and I are pulling a 'last minute' (well 60 days is last minute for me!) trip down to the World Sept 18-23. We are leaving our little rug-rat DS at home ( ). We are staying at POR and I can't wait to ride all the 'big kid' rides and have a peaceful romantic dinner for 2.

P.S. - OMG PSs - totally forgot!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have the link to the PS calculator? I guess the dining deal is probably causing alot of sit-down places to be really busy. Hopefully we'll be able to get to a few places we want to try out.

The seating calculator is at allearsnet, but I don't think you need it. I'm pretty sure all restaurants can be booked 90 days out. Yes, I've started booking PS for our trip the week after you're there, and Ohana was fairly booked. I'm guessing the family spots (Ohana, characters) and the really good bargains (expensive places) will fill up pretty fast.

I don't think I've added myself to the list. I'm Kristen, we're headed to POFQ from September 24 to October 1.

Can't wait!

Hiya :)

We are 16th-30th. We made some PSs last night. I was stunned to find out that Jiko had *no* tables left at all already right through 24th September. A good few of the other restaurants we got (ie Spoodles) I was told we were getting the last table etc.... so I think you may need to make some decisions quick :)

Best of luck,
Gaspodé

oh goodness! Last year I made my seatings for this same time period a few weeks before my trip...I guess I better get calling tomorrow JIKO is on my list! Thanks for the post.

My husband and I will be staying at the Swan from the 10th - 15th. I'm so excited because it will be his first trip to Disney :Pinkbounc ! I'm going a little crazy waiting for the hours to be posted - How am I supposed to plan an incredible first visit for him if I don't know when the parks close? Ughhhh...

AAAWW the SWAN looks BEAUTIFUL and the prices right now are outstanding...it would be my first choice if it weren't for the dining plan, with 5 of us I can't beat it realistically but next time we might do the Swan!! I wanted a monorail with the small kids...location was #1 for me, and so I am paying for it I guess :teeth:

I will have to check that thread out. I will be solo as well...well for part of my trip my mom and sister can't decide when they should come...it is between that Friday 30 or Saturday oct 1. I'm going to the party on the 30th and the one on the 2nd. I can hardly wait. If you are going to be in WDW on the 28th you should check out the Illuminations Dessert Party that ANTSS2001 organized...I'm going solo to it! You're welcome :)

Hope you get to the places you wanna try! I got Le Cellier last night :cool1:, can wait a couple of days now before trying for Jiko again and then Chef Mickey for breakfast on our last day :flower:

Cya,
Gaspodé

Get your dining PSs NOW- I just had a hard time getting anything for le Cellier 90 days out! I settled for Rose and Crown instead cause there was only 8:30 left for L.C. :sad2: I'll try again once we get there.

My "twin" and I will be celebrating our birthdays with Mickey from Sept. 24 until October 2nd. Staying at POFQ.

Can you say excited!!! 88 more days!!!! :goodvibes :wizard: :cheer2: :cloud9:

MNSSHP on the 30th!!!!

Four of those sweeties in the picture are girls and the littlest one is our first sweet boy! We really enjoy our trips to WDW with all of our kiddos. We use the touring plan of going early to the parks. It is so tempting to sleep in sometimes, but the earlier the better. You will not regret getting on up and getting to the parks at opening time. Sometimes in the afternoon if the smallest ones get cranky and need a nap, my DH will take them back to the room. We will then meet up for an early dinner and more park touring afterwards. What are the ages of your kiddos? :wave2:
