I guess you saw my "tag" from the tag fairy!!! :)

Two out of the five cildren we have were "sovies" from WDW. Who would have thought it would happen twice in a row. The two littlest ones are the best sovieneers we have ever gotten!

Your children are all at great ages to visit! It's a little harder with the kiddos when they are younger, but still manageable with a plan.

My best advice would be to get to MK at opening. If you can go to MK for 2 days it is much easier to manage. We usually tour "fanstasyland" and "fronteirland" on our first day and "tomorrowland" and "adverntureland" on the 2nd. day. If there is a long line get a fast pass and comeback. I am always amazed at how many people are waiting in lines when there is fast pass available at the attraction. You will have a great time!! The first trip to WDW is such a special experience. Take time to let the magic sink in and enjoy all the beautiful scenery around you! Have a great trip!

mompoppins are you all doing the MNSSHP? We are only getting 4 day passes and I don't know if we will be able to do MK for two days, we might just get to do each park one day but if I buy hoppers we might sneak in some EMH's at the MK one night or morning, I really don't know right now. I can't imagine them staying up til 10 or 11 for fireworks and then getting up at 7 or 7 30 to get to the parks early, seems we might be burning the candle at both ends, even with a mid day rest back at Poly...they are not going to nap they are too old but they might swim in the pool or do some childrens activities at the resort for a break, either way I have a touring plan and am ready to go with nothing but a GREAT attitude no matter what obsticles we might face!! I wanted to do MNSSHP but I just don't know right now if we will, seems like A LOT to do in 6 days and the extra 150.00 I just don't know exactly...thanks for your tips!! :earsgirl:

Hi again! We are going before MNSSHP begins. I have never been so I cannot make any suggestions on this event. Animal Kingdom always closes around 5, so we usually follow this day by an early day. In October the parks should close around 7 or 8 except for Epcot. So you should be able to be back in the rooms by 9 or so. I am glad you have a great attitude about your planning and expectations. Just go with it and have a great time!!!

DH, DS (4yo) and I will be at the POFQ from Sept 13-17th. This is my and DH's 5th trip, but the first for our 4yo.

I've never stayed at the POFQ, just one night at the "old" Dixie Landings. Also, we've always traveled in March just prior to Spring Break. I would love to read anyone's comments on the mid-Sept time of year. Specifically, do you need to show up to Fantasmic an hour early since it is not as busy? Do you think using the EMH in the morning and evening are worth it? (DH and I did it in 2001 when it was called E-ride night for $12 extra at MK, and felt as if we were at a private party!) How early would you recommend getting to the shows at AK? :earsgirl:

We'll be staying at All Star Movies Sept 10-17. It's our first trip, and my son's 4th birthday!

WE DID IT!

Earlier this month my DH and I did our first summer Disney trip. We took his daughter and she had a blast. Due to the heat and crowds (crowds more than the heat - heat I can take) the Disney magic just wasn't there for me this trip. Not a bad vacation by any means, we had a blast, but it was just different.
I am a travel agent and coming back to work and seeing this great "free dining" package on my desk was very hard for me. It's like putting a great pair of shoes in front of a shopaholic, and then making them sell those shoes over and over again, but they can't try them on. My job is very hard when I'm in "disney mode". :teeth:
Well after my persistant whining about taking advantage of this great deal, my DH relented and we booked a package today! I'm so happy! I get to go back to my happy place and it hopefully won't be so crowded! :)
We will be at ASMu from 29Sep-4Oct. I can't wait!
Oh, it's a happy day!! :sunny:

Made another PS today; so far I have 5 of my 6 and only one I had to compromise one (I couldn't get le Cellier so I settled for Rose and Crown). So far we got lunch at 50's PTC, dinner at Cinderella's Table, Rose and Crown, Ohana and WCC..tomorrow I am calling for lunch at Sci Fi. :flower: 85 days to go!

Hey :wave2: overplanner I'm wasn't sure on your dates so I guessed they were the 19-24, but if they are different let me know and I will change it :)

Ok we are updated for today! I really need to get going on my PS's and my planning...I'm falling very behind (I don't have one thing planned other than MNNSHP and the Dessert Party!). Fortunatley this is my holiday weekend off at work and I plan to hammer it out on my 3 day weekend :cool1: ! I hope LeCellier and Jiko have not been booked solid for my trip (if they are I guess that means I will need another trip :rotfl2: ), but I guess I will find out when I call this weekend!

we are updated (a little early tonight)...I'm hoping that the hours are released tomorrow (crosses fingers!). I also wanted to add the following info as well for anyone interested in the Dessert Party :)

I'm still working on our itinerary.....but hey, I'll take a sixty-day countdown....hopefully, it'll go by fast !!!!

Hi! Listen I'm sitting here doing our itinerary and am wondering if we should still do the Fantasmic package or just hope for the best since we have free dining now? We don't mind a bit of a wait and even better if we can sit down while we are waiting? Is it worth it to chance it? I'm thinking at 45 dollars for the show is just too expensive. Are any of you guys going to chance it and wait in line too? I wonder how long the wait will be, but yeah I think we are skipping the package this year! Yikes :earseek: !
We are planning on doing the Studio's on Wends. the 5th and Sat Oct. 1st, so far.

85 days 23 hours till our trip, and I'm no where near ready with all the things I have to plan, and yet I'm happy about it! The planning is half the fun! :flower:

We're waiting in line...I think. We usually do anyway, but now I'm thinking that everyone will decide to wait in line because they all have free dining too...hmmm. :confused3
