Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Or I could have looked at the start of the thread :) Any way we could be added?

Rick and Holly Chisa, Angela (9) and Maggie (5) in stateroom 6048 Deck 6

We are in stateroom 6047. I know it's too late to be added to the FE exchange but I do have a couple extra of some of items that I'm handing out and would be more than happy to leave them for Angela and Maggie. That's what neighbors are for.:tinker:

Thanks for the quick response already! We're from Olympia - about an hour South of Seattle. We've only been waiting since January. We told the kids about a week ago, and they're already complaining about how long they've had to wait!

The only question I have at this point is about our dinner at Palo. I managed to schedule it for 6:30 at the exact same night as the pirate dinner. At this point I can't change it via the computer. Are they tough to change the day of boarding? Would 6:30 run into pirate night?

Welcome to the thread!!! :cool1: I'm soon-to-be moving to the Seattle area. Nice to "meet" some "neighbors." ;)

As for Palo, I doubt you'll have any trouble changing it once you get on the ship (at least that's what everyone tells me ;) This is our first cruise too :lovestruc).

I might also have a thing or two to throw in there for Angela and Maggie as well. ;)

I know someone on this thread asked this question, but I'm not sure I ever saw any "no" responses - are there any parents who are against their kids getting candy in their FE's? It just so happens that FH and I are going to have some sour patch straws (wrapped, of course, since you can't take unwrapped candy on board the ship) that we're bringing on the cruise. We're doing a candy buffet for our wedding, and apparently, I overestimated how much candy I'd need! :headache: Every website I read said, "YOU NEED TONS AND TONS OF CANDY!!!" Well, we got that, but we got SO much that there's not room for all of it on the candy buffet table! LOL! So, since the sour straws (basically, licorice-type candy, but sour apple and sour strawberry flavored) are wrapped, I'm bringing them along - I should have enough for all the kiddos - but if there's a parent that doesn't want their kids to have something like that, please let me know and I'll make a note of it on my list. :)

Is anyone besides me playing the "I'll be doing ___________in two weeks or going _____________ in two weeks"!!!!!
OMG it's less than two weeks!!! Less than two weeks!!!!:cool1::dance3::yay::woohoo:
sorry - i'm just a LITTLE bit excited!!!!!

Two weeks from right now we will be at dinner :cool1:

It's really real isn't it!!
Wow - after a year and a half wait!!

It is real. We booked one year ago while on the WBTA, Sept 2010.

Hey there. We're going to be on the repositioning cruise, and are very excited! I just found out about this site, so hopefully I'm not jumping on too late for a meet-up. Any information anyone has to share for a new cruiser? We have NEVER been on a Disney -or any -cruise. We've got two girls (nine and five), and would love any thoughts, ideas, meet-ups, etc!

Thanks!!!
Chisafam

:welcome:

Great job :worship: A Disney Half Marathon is on my bucket list.

Thanks. I appreciate the recognition.

You can do it! I started with the Princess in February and after I finish the W&D next month I would have completed three Disney half marathons. Next year I have three more Disney half marathons to do as well and then I'll move onto at least one full marathon.

Counting down the days until this cruise and thinking about what to pack since I'm only taking a carry-on.

I completely respect the previous comments - I didn't realize we were past the deadline. We'll have to get in on the fun next time! Still looking forward to seeing all of you VERY soon!
i think i have extra as well for your girls - so do put your FE out

Didn't someone recently get upgraded to a room # in the 8000's? I don't see that on there, anyone confirm for me?
Yes FergusBC was upgraded to 8036

Oh that would be great info as I have some candy as part of our gifts as well - (its also something that can be saved till after the cruise since there IS a never ending supply of food / snacks / treats onboard).

Did you tell me that you DID sign up for the Tinkerbell 1/2 in Jan?

Yes FergusBC was upgraded to 8036

Who is that in real names? LOL! All of the FE lists are in "real names" and it's hard to keep straight who's who! LOL!

Can we get an updated FE list with real names including FergusBC's upgrade please?

In other news, I got my hair highlighted today for the wedding and cruise - the girl got it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too blonde!!! :scared1: I asked for a 2 - 1 ratio of brown hair and blonde hair... I even said, "I want more brown hair than blonde" but I think she did 2 - 1 blonde to brown. :sad2:

It's not THAT big of a deal. I'm a little upset, but not devastated. I'm sure it looks good - it's just that I'm a brunette... but in my wedding pictures, I'll be a blonde. :( But, like you said, it's OK. :)

Nate's flying in tomorrow!!! :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:

Is there time for you to go in and have them fix it? (I would think that if the stylist goofed, they should cover the cost to fix it)

Well, I had it done at a beauty college. I've never once complained about a service there (been going there for about 12 years now), and I figure that if they make little mistakes, it's all part of the deal of getting a pretty good price break. :lovestruc

But she also clipped my eyelid today during my eyebrow wax. I didn't realize that it actually left a mark until I got home! :scared1: I knew she nicked it, but I didn't know it left a mark. :headache:

I know I SHOULD probably say something, but I'd HATE to get her into trouble, and I've been going there for SO long that the instructors all know me - I don't want to be a pain! They've messed up before, and the instructors have comped my services (but I've never asked for that). I figure that if they offer a comp, I'll take it, but if they don't, I don't ask for it (although I've never been CUT before! And if I'd known that she left a mark, I WOULD have said something to the instructor about that!!!). I'm honestly more upset about being cut on my eyelid than I am the hair being too light.

It does look cute. And if it weren't RIGHT before my wedding, I wouldn't care! But since it's 4 days before my wedding, it's a little bit of a bigger deal to me, so it's harder to just "let it go," ya know?! :confused3

But at the same time, it DOES look cute, and my motto is - "it's just hair... it grows out." ;) I guess I'm just not the complaining type when it comes to service unless they did something REALLY wrong. :o

Every bride looks beautiful on her wedding day. And so shall you. Sounds like you have a good attitude. Mommy and I wish you all the best on your special day.

And welcome to our home......the pacific northwest.

Thank you!!!

And thank you for the welcome to the Northwest. ;) It sure is a beautiful part of the world, isn't it?! ;)

I believe I'm at a point I can add a few FE gifts for Rick, Holly, Angela and Maggie. We're in room 5134

We couldn't wait any longer. Yesterday was the kids' first day of school (all two hours of it) so we did the big 'reveal' when they got home. After the shock wore off a bit, we sat and watching the Disney cruise DVD and then the girls got to go through the pirate stuff to pick out a costume. As expected my 6 year old does not want to dress up. We did compromise and she will wear something at least for a photo...I'm hoping that she'll change her mind by pirate night pirate:

Not sure how we're going to all make it through the next two weeks :cool1: but at least we can all talk about it now rather than dh and I disappearing into another room to whisper!

Pam - you have a fabulous attitude.....so glad Nate is arriving today & you have a few days before the BIG day!!!!

Norah - what a nice surprize for the girls on their 'back to school' day....i bet they're SOOOO excited to tell their friends....I can't wait to meet this 6 y/o (what 6 y/o doesn't like to dress up????) :rotfl::rotfl:

Have a great Wed all!!!!
