Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

We are going to Grouse Mountain too on the 19th. We are going to attempt the Grind. My hubby just wants to see the bears.

yes do the Grind!! :thumbsup2
i told my DH i "hate" him all the way up the Grind but it's a great feeling when you finally finished !! (was basically crawling up for the last little bit!!)

I just read this on the main board, looks like DCL is making some changes that take effect Sept 19th !

http://m.examiner.com/examiner/pm_60...tguid=1i9lMvun

Now I don't drink so no skin off my nose, my husband Steve however likes to have a beer or two. Thankfully when we saw this before left for the port!

Added: This hasn't been confirmed by DCL yet so I guess take it with a grain of salt.....and a wedge of lime and some tequila ??

I can't imagine this information not being in our documents IF this policy goes into effect on 9/19....perhaps DCL will announce this new policy change on the 19th that is effective on a later date....I just briefly skimmed their facebook page & their website - but nothing listed on either of those...

Just in case...would all non-drinkers on this forum please identify yourselves as we may ask you to help out your fellow cruisers :rotfl2::worship::rotfl2:

You have a GREAT plan!!!!

The Pan Pacific offers the Patio Terrace outside - thought that would be nice if the weather is cooperative, or inside there is the Cascades Lounge if it's too cool or rainy.

Just booked and paid for our Super Shuttle van to take us from our Anaheim hotel to LAX after our DL visit :)
Now all of our transportation is booked and paid for! YAY!

And even more good news, DH said I could go ahead and purchase a new camera that will be here in time for our cruise! I am a photographer and have been wanting to upgrade my camera for awhile now. I was going to try selling my current camera to help fund it, but today DH said to keep my current one as a back up and go ahead and ger the new one!!! YAY, so excited!! Now I'll be able to take HD video on our trip too!

I have been shooting with the Canon XTi for years now, and it takes some great shots, but I've been wanting to upgrade for awhile now.
I've been looking at the 60D for awhile, but ultimately settled on the Canon T2i body.

It is comparable to the 60D, with a few minor differences that won't really effect my shooting. And the T2i is a bit cheaper than the 60D, so it was a win/win :) Already have lenses from my XTi, so I'm all set there :)

I can't wait to get my hands on it!

So now what do I do?

We are going to be doing the Victoria Gardens tour. I haven't been to the gardens in over 15 years so this will be a nice return trip. I hope many flowers will still be in somewhat of a bloom....

6 more posts!

I am probably the reason why the the rum is gone!pirate:

Who am I? Well my wife and I have been married for 16 years and will be celebrating our 16 year marriage onboard the cruise. Like I said we have two new passengers my son and daughter (who is learning all of her Disney characters by name).

This will be my son's second cruise onboard a Disney Cruise Ship since my wife was 2 days pregnant with him back in 2005:rotfl: We told him that and he is all excited that he will be now returning to a Disney Cruise Ship!!!

Here you go!******

Some cruise lines forbid you completely from bringing alcohol on board, but Disney Cruise Line has always been an exception. Now, the line is tightening the rules starting on September 19. Here are the new restrictions:

-You may bring one bottle of wine or champage per person over age 21, or 6 bottles or cans of beer

-The alcoholic beverages must be carried onto the ship

-Alcohol found in checked luggage will be confiscated

-Excess alcohol found in carry-on luggage will be confiscated

As always, Disney Cruise Line charges a corkage fee for personal bottles of wine brought into the restaurants. Expect to pay $20 per bottle
