Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

OK so finally I have reached the 10 post minimum!

This is myself and my family when we were at Disneyland this past May as On Stranger Tides was ramping up for the premiere!!

And this is us on the day of the premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.

Now you can see why we are looking forward to Pirate Night and possibly a viewing of On Stranger Tides onboard. Besides the Disney Wonder is such a pretty ship!!!! I mean err...boat!

My son will be mini Captain Jack Sparrow and my daughter will be The Dreaded Pink Pirate Princess.....no idea what that means but we are trying to put together a pink pirate outfit for a two year old! Not an easy task!!

LOL!!!;)

Anyone traveling with children going to have a meet up to exchange kids.....:rotfl: I mean introduce kids to one another?

Mine are Calvin (5) and Cordelia (2).:rolleyes1

the kids are welcome at both the Pan Pacific cocktail hour and onboard the ship at the Promenade Lounge. You will want them there anyway, as it will last approx 1 hour then it's the 'lifeboat drill' - followed by the sailaway party (If i'm remembering correctly)

Just trying to finish off planning for this trip since we are getting down to the wire and I was just wondering what time I should have a shuttle pick us up to head into Anaheim? What time do we debark? Suggestions anyone? Thinking of using Primetime...good?

NON Drinker here

Just booked and paid for our Super Shuttle van to take us from our Anaheim hotel to LAX after our DL visit :)
Now all of our transportation is booked and paid for! YAY!

And even more good news, DH said I could go ahead and purchase a new camera that will be here in time for our cruise! I am a photographer and have been wanting to upgrade my camera for awhile now. I was going to try selling my current camera to help fund it, but today DH said to keep my current one as a back up and go ahead and ger the new one!!! YAY, so excited!! Now I'll be able to take HD video on our trip too!

Nice on getting all the transport paid for, and Great on the new camera

Who am I? Well my wife and I have been married for 16 years and will be celebrating our 16 year marriage onboard the cruise. Like I said we have two new passengers my son and daughter (who is learning all of her Disney characters by name).

This will be my son's second cruise onboard a Disney Cruise Ship since my wife was 2 days pregnant with him back in 2005:rotfl: We told him that and he is all excited that he will be now returning to a Disney Cruise Ship!!!

Nice to meet you. I am Heather, and will be on the ship with mh Husband, John (Grumpygoat)

I was wondering this as well. I think I'm just going to call for the shuttle as we disembark...just in case the ship is late getting into port.

I'm heading to SNA...anyone else?

Heather and I are staying at a Ramada in Vancouver. I wonder if it's the same one?

I have been shooting with the Canon XTi for years now, and it takes some great shots, but I've been wanting to upgrade for awhile now.
I've been looking at the 60D for awhile, but ultimately settled on the Canon T2i body.

It is comparable to the 60D, with a few minor differences that won't really effect my shooting. And the T2i is a bit cheaper than the 60D, so it was a win/win :) Already have lenses from my XTi, so I'm all set there :)

I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Cool! What lenses? I'm bringing a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS L, Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and Tamron 14mm f2.8. You're welcome to try them out if you wish...

I swear...I understood about 10 words in this whole post!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Made perfect sense to me...

I think I sent you a PM, but I got the "log back in" message as I composed the PM and I'm not sure it went through.

Ramada Limited Downtown, a few blocks from Canada Place for us.

I'll most likely just bring my Canon 17-85mm. I also have a 50mm 1.8.
The 50mm would be nice to have along, but I don't want to bring too much... will leave my flash at home too and just use the pop up flash for the trip.

I've got a fairly large Canon camera bag that I'd like to avoid bringing, I'm hoping I can fit the camera and charger in a smaller bag I have laying around somewhere.

Are you a photographer too?

Tim we are going to be at the same hotel too. We are planning on taking a taxi from the train station to the Hotel, as I am not sure I want to be walking at 12:30 in the morning. I also replied to your PM
