awe I really know how that feels. Unfortunately I have one of those category 11 rooms. I was fortunate to be on the Magic in room 6647 when they announced the 2010 itineries. We went to the seminar and were able to fill a a request for quote which put us at the top of the waiting for the price list.
Then it was wait and see. We waited anxiously for a call all morning by 2:00 we had heard nothing and all the #11's were sold out my heart sank
I knew we could not book on line for a handicapped accesible room so we were stuck until I heard from disney.
So I called Disney and they had already booked it and told me I had 24 hours to pay the deposit of course I payed then and there.
Did you tell disney that you wanted to be put on wait list for a category 11.
I hope the newer ships have more rooms. There a too few on the wonder and magic. And the jump from the 11 to 8 just does not seem far
I have no idea what handicap 11 room I am getting. Wishing you all the best of luck. The reason we like this one is because it is not port intensive.
I find it so hard to know what excursion I can go on so we never book anything. But on the good side hubby makes up for it by taking me jewlery hunting
Hoping it works out for you
