Hi all!

Hopefully I'll be sailing along with you all on the WB repo. :boat: :goodvibes At the moment I'm booked for a handicapped cat. 8 stateroom. Great to at least have something, but I'm pretty sure that with all the extra costs it's going to be too expensive. :guilty: Unfortunately all the handicapped cat. 11 were allready booked by the time I got through (TA had the same problem). :headache: So I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed somebody decides to cancel one of those 4 staterooms. We'll be checking in the next few days especially. Deposits are due soon after all. Oh good fairies, somehow make this a situation where somebody has a stateroom booked themselves and through a TA also. :wizard: And if need be, I'll keep checking untill september 9th 2010. :scared:

Let the countdown begin! :woohoo:

Jacqueline great to have you onboard!! :woohoo: That will make it 2 years in a row for us sailing together....I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Just got off the phone with DCL. I wanted to move my arrival day to Friday using DCL airfare.

This agent seemed like she knew what she was doing; but she told me something different than the deviation department.

In order to come in a day early using DCL air, you must book a hotel thru the cruiseline. If you don't you are charged a non refundable deviation fee of $75 per passenger. The deviation fee for the Caribbean cruises was $50, international is higher.

She indicated that the cancellation fee for the air is starts at the 90 day window same as the cruise.

They did have more hotels available. The cheapest was the Hilton at $415. I didn't check the prices of the others.

Has anyone been charged the deviation fee on their accounts?

You basically have it right....just go in back to edit signature.... add
to the back. That should get it to show up! :thumbsup2

If you would like me to incorporate a pic for you into the logo and save it that way I can do that. Sometimes it is very hard to line up the pics just right in the signature. That is why on my last signature I just created that as 1 image and posted it. There is no way I could have gotten all of those things to line up. :lmao: Just let me know. Huuuummmmm, now I am thinking of adding the pirate pic of DD's to my signature! :)

I know it really wouldn't be safe on board.......but maybe Erik can hold a class on Castaway! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You are so sweet:goodvibes I just got home from a long day at work and need to get dinner going but I will PM you tonight--if you can get the cool flag graphic and my fmaily photo all into one thing for my signature I will be so happy:)

Yes, I can. My cheerleaders actually have their first competition here in Rochester on Saturday and I am going to miss it because I have to be in Seattle for the next 8 days for a work conference! As long as the cruise is smooth we can learn cartwheels on deck. Cartwheels are not honestly the kind of thing that pose much of an injury risk if you teach them correctly. Now if anyone wants to learn back handsprings and back tucks on the ship....then we might be in trouble! :lmao:

Goodie! Please sign Rio up for the class (and possibly Marika)

Me too! But I am usually very quiet, so easily overlooked.

I just can't keep up with the very fast threads like the Panama one.

By the time I would catch up reading, I was too tired to post!:rotfl:

Kathy, I couldn't agree with you more   The WB PC thread was lightning fast! I, too, didn't post much so I understand. Glad you're on this cruise, too! Lacy

Um, BIP, Paula sailed with us on the PC cruise. Could it be that thread that you are remembering her from?

I was on the 2006 double dip too (though I realise you are talking about PBader in your line above) and I met a few disers there but didn't really do much (anything) with the group.

We must have talked to the same person. That is the same thing I was told yesterday - and the $75 was nonrefundable! She suggested that I just stick with standard air flying in the morning of departure:scared1: for now. I have a couple of different options for hotels already, but can't confirm any of them for another year. Once I have that squared away, I can move the DCL air and pay my fee.
We now have a forum and a guestbook on our website.

So Captain....you are giving me a challenge??????? Email me the psd file and I will work on it.

Thank you for all the work you have done on the website and with the logos. It looks great!

I was told the same thing re flying in a day early. I, being such a some-what chicken- will take a hotel room w DCL. I just want to be in the "cool" area-anyone want to tell where that might be?:rotfl2: :lmao:
I loved the samantha brown and the anthony bourdain specials featuring Barcelona. What area was that? Thanks all!

The only hotel Disney has in the cool area is the Le Meridian, but the Hilton is nice on the beach and the AC Barcelona is on the hop on hop off bus loop. The hip area in anywhere near Las Ramblas. Unfortunately there is a lot of pick pocketing in Barcelona and the airport is just as bad as Las Ramblas for pickpockets. Just be careful and you should be fine.

We are really looking forward to this trip and returning to Barcelona to see the things we did not have time for on our Med cruise in 07.

awe I really know how that feels. Unfortunately I have one of those category 11 rooms. I was fortunate to be on the Magic in room 6647 when they announced the 2010 itineries. We went to the seminar and were able to fill a a request for quote which put us at the top of the waiting for the price list.

Then it was wait and see. We waited anxiously for a call all morning by 2:00 we had heard nothing and all the #11's were sold out my heart sank :(

I knew we could not book on line for a handicapped accesible room so we were stuck until I heard from disney.

So I called Disney and they had already booked it and told me I had 24 hours to pay the deposit of course I payed then and there.

Did you tell disney that you wanted to be put on wait list for a category 11.

I hope the newer ships have more rooms. There a too few on the wonder and magic. And the jump from the 11 to 8 just does not seem far :(

I have no idea what handicap 11 room I am getting. Wishing you all the best of luck. The reason we like this one is because it is not port intensive.

I find it so hard to know what excursion I can go on so we never book anything. But on the good side hubby makes up for it by taking me jewlery hunting :)

Hoping it works out for you :grouphug:

Thanks Belle! I guess that's where we'll be. I wonder if they have a website? I'd love to research it all a bit. I think I have a Europe for dummies- we were thinking about a trip last time DCL went to the med. But, the kids were too little!

Haven't been home all day so I have a lot to read tomorrow, but wanted to let Brooklyn know the Roll Call looks great!! I am still working on my signature line and really like the one with the flags!! Great job!!! I still like Captain Jack, pirate: but have to say, the flags are great!!!

Hi again! So, I went to the Le Meridian website. (it really is an amazing looking hotel!) and put in a dummy date of 9/18/09 fri checkin and 9/19/09 checkout and it quoted 329 euro= 484 $. So, if DCL is asking 5 something; I don't think that's too bad?

Okay Brooklyn, I took your advice for Photobucket and I am trying it out. I might not be brain dead tonight!:upsidedow
