They may or may not hold the ship, depends on when the flight is delayed until, but they will get you to the ship, even if it is at the next port.

They will also get your luggage to you if it is delayed, even longer then you, or they will try.

eat some skyline for me i cant get any where i live in new jersey. i have relatives in cincinnati i pay them to have the cans sent to me,way to expensive to order it off of skyline website. but you know the cans are not the same as eating there. now im hungry for skyline might have to heat up a can. :smickey:

Love skyline! We buy the packets and make it ourselves and they are pretty good. In fact, my husband makes it for Halloween and serves it in the driveway. We have a huge crowd. I think it is better then the can - have you tried the packet?

Thistle - we would love to see you in December! I am going to check my calendar and I will PM you. THANK YOU! Also, Athene - doesn't matter next year - would love to see you. Have fun on the cruise! Was at Hollywood Studios today and it was great weather - still 2 hour wait for Toy Story Mania - ugh!:sad2:

Hmmm...well, in that case, I'll have to consider a birthday brunch with old friends!

::yes:: Or maybe Tea at Palo. I did that for the first time on the WBPC it was great fun. We were at a table for six (though PJ crammed me in as number 7, bless him), and it was a very fun social event!

That's a relief. I would be so disappointed if we missed the ship. This is the first time I've trusted Disney with my travel arrangements, so I'm a little nervous! :scared1:

Us too! Its quite nerve racking to not be in complete control, but then again maybe letting Disney take care of it will result in less stress and in return a more enjoyable vacation!

One can hope anyway right! :cool1:

If anybody is visiting WDW between now and then, we don't live far away and would love to get together for a meet if we can. Just let us know if and when you will be in town. :jumping1: :sulley:

I'm getting married on the Disney Wonder 5/22/09. We'll be in WDW 5/20 and probably a few days after the cruise since it's Memorial Day Weekend.

Bev :)

Wow. We are on the waitlist for that cat 3. Lucky you.
Please add us to the list for this cruise. Currently, we are in cabins 8568 & 8570. It will be me, DH Joe, DS Brett-18, DS Austin-15.
Can't wait!

Wow. So glad to hear that you will be cruising with us again this year. This will be our 3rd cruise together. :dance3:

Bev

I would say board around lunch time then get off and explore. As long as you are back for the boat drill you can get on and off when ever you want. That was what we did!

Thank you for the information. Did they have a sail away party at 9:30 at night then? It doesn't really matter, I'm just wondering.

Does anybody know if you can book round trip air with the departure and return dates being five months apart???

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

I just realized there is going to be someone from every cruise I've ever been on, on THIS cruise! :woohoo:

I know some of my pals from the Nov 06 Double Dip have signed up, but haven't shown up here yet!

And PEG, you remember PJ from the WB Panama (you know, the cruise you cancelled) thread, not the DD cruise.

.

And us!! We get to sail with the Arizona Sisters!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just trying out the new sig

pirate:

Took awhile for me to see this - was at a beerfest all day! :thumbsup2

But it looks great, of course. :cool1:

I adore Mike Super! What's he up to these days? And how does he know about the DIS?! Is he here!?

I'm guessing because he's such a Disney fan himself that he knows about the DIS. You know that he won the Phenomenon TV show, right? I'm on his email list so I get his emails periodically telling what he's up to and where his next shows are going to be.

FYI - Here's the email I sent him and his reply - I'm so funny!:rotfl:
Mike,

I originally saw you on the Disney Wonder in Jan '07 and then voted repeatedly for your win on Phenomenon. So I had high hopes and expectations about seeing you again on DCL because I was booked on the East Bound Panama Canal cruise. I know you're a big time star now, but I knew that Disney books nothing less than the best - especially for special cruises. My hopes were further boosted when I heard that you performed on the West Bound PC cruise - how could they not treat us as well? Then my dreams were shattered when I arrived onboard and did not see your name on the entertainment list. I accosted one of the cruise staff to ask about the extreme injustice of the situation and was "assured" that they had someone "just as good." Now I don't want to demean anyone who obviously works hard at his craft, so all I'll say is the "singing magician's" show was the most non-lavenous experience I've ever had. : )

So I'll give you the chance to remedy the situation by scheduling a show somewhere close to Atlanta anytime in the near (far) future. Don't you want to come to the South when the temperature starts to drop? I promise we would show our best southern hospitality.

Thanks so much,
Kimberly

and his reply...
LOL... thanks Kimberly!

You need to post that on the disboards. :)

There are dates in the works for the south as we speak! So rest assured, as soon as they are finalized, You'll know about them.

Thanks so much for your continued support!

Stay Lavenous!

Mike

Can anyone let me know if the website is down for them? I can pull it up fine and so can my husbands laptop but I want to make sure that it is working for everyone.

:wave2: Jackie,

We met once in passing. I was on the WB PC and the EB PC. Not 100% sure this will answer your question entirely but for the WB PC - we booked our airfare (after April 9th 2008), probably around the 12th, and did a return flight from MCO to LAX on Sept 8th. So, from April 12 to Sept it was almost 5 months. So we did but it was stateside. All we can do is hope but it sounds like it might be possible.

Hay Brooklyn - Laura here - tried accessing through your link in the signature line and had some trouble. Let me try again. Blank page came up. Could VERY WELL be my end. BRB

And we're very excited about sailing with you! Peg feels like she really met everyone from the WB because of so much time on the cruise meet thread and then seeing all my pictures of the gang!

I just tried from the link in your signature and that didn't work.

 I remember you Laura! Well good to know it worked on a US carrier, so there is hope. I also thought I remembered someone from my office being able to buy a round trip ticket with an 'open' return (though it still may have had a time restriction). Guess I'll have to explore some web sites in the morning.

I just got this wild idea to do BOTH cruises as I have 5 weeks vacation and not a huge amount of extra money. I can do the cruise portion for about $125 a day! Just thougt being able to book a round trip flight would be a help. Who knows what I'll be thinking tomorrow! :lmao:

That was a major reason why I was able to the the WB TransAtlantic last year. I did the last 11 day and my family and I went to Paris. Just before I left, my friend was able to book the cruise for about $100 per day. Since, I was already in Europe, it seemed crazy not too. Then when Steve said go ahead, it worked out fine. Except for the airfare back to Barcelona. But that wasn't bad. it would have only cost me about $175 except for the fact that DH and I read the weight limits wrong and I packed 33 kilos instead of 20. :scared1: So, what we did, we booked a RT from Paris to Barcelona and then Barcelona to Paris but didn't end up using the back end. If I'd of done it one-way, it would have cost me $675. For $200, I'm going back via DCL.

I'm hoping that DCL will bust some discounts later as we get closer to the sailing date. LOL - I remember now - I would see you on late on the WB. Seems we both have a bit of insomnia! :)

Just played on some of the travel sites and round trip Barcelona/Phoenix can be done for $900-1000 around this time of year, so at least I have a starting point. AND that was using the British Airways non spot between London and Phoenix and putting a five month window between flights.

Just the other day, when TiggersPal booked, she said "What else can I book?" Well, I've thought of something else for me to book! :lmao:

Oh lord, I think my brain is going to exlode...better try and get some sleep.
