So here it is the second time in two weeks, we have helicopters flying overhead!!!it is dark outside but they still have searchlights!!! We closed and locked everything up but I know I will probably end up staying up!!!! Naturally we won't hear what was going on until tomorrow morning!!!
Bob just got the new ResMed S9 and the ClimateLine. This special tubing is heated preventing condensation from forming inside the tube. We also ordered the dishwasher safe water chamber that can be opened. He is pleased with this new equiptment but is bringing his smaller older machine on the trip. valDid he get the new ResMed one? I want that one.
Not again! You don't live near Philly, do you? I know there was a shooting at a Kraft plant tonight so maybe it had something to do with that if you live in the area? That is scary though...
This puts things in perspective as to why we are a little nervous

Yaoooeee . . .that is so amazing. A real testimony to quality building standards. Sure is worth the cost now. Especially the cost in human life. No waves for you, Paula . . .
SAN BRUNO, CA (KGO) -- Mulitple homes are on fire after a large explosion in the area near highways 280 and 380, Skyline Boulevard and Sneath Lane in San Bruno.
I just watched the Magic port in Malta,,,,,what an awesome sight!!!!!
I don't think there will ever be complaints about our building code again. Most of the approximately 3000 homes that are now uninhabitable are built in areas where they were subject to liquefaction and experts had recommended that no homes be built there. The council ignored their advise - they will listen next time I hope.
I have one friend who had an initial estimate today that his home will cost $100k to repair. Thank goodness for insurance!
Thats very scary, my thoughts are with those battling this blaze and those who are directly impacted by it - its heartbreaking!
What is the link to see it?
Today was my last day of work before our trip - 3 sleeps to go!
Swaping of dates between Beer and Mojito are confirmed! Still waiting on swap of one martini with mixology. Should have tomorrow. Sorry that this is now a conflict for the class!!

We will be sitting upright, but he still stops breathing when he sleeps sitting up.
We will bring VitD and zinc with us and keep up our doses of that.
Well, she's getting better today! YEAH! She slept great last night. Although, I didn't sleep as well. Since DH was gone I had her sleep in my bed so that I could listen to her breathe. I kept waking up to check on her and then of course have little feet in my back. DH is landing now. So, we are on the mend!! DS has no signs of getting this. It will truly be a miracle if he doesn't get this since they play (or fight) nonstop together in the house the last few days.
I decided not to send her to preschool next week. Since we start waking up an hour early each morning beginning tomorrow and I don't want her to catch anything else.
Thanks again for all your prayers and pixie dust!! Sure can't wait to meet everyone! I begin packing this weekend. We'll see how it goes!!
Yes, Kaylee is a naturopath. However, we are in economy and there is no power per seatguru, so without that battery pac it is a mute point. We did not know there was no battery pac until it was delivered this morning. The local company that provides them for the VA showed Dennis the order he got and it did not include a battery.

People as far as one-half mile away say they felt the boom and heat of the explosion.
An evacuation center has been set up at the San Bruno Veterans Memorial Recreation Center at 251 City Park Way. Residents are also gathering at Tanforan shopping center.

Night night, hope you find the magnets.ok, making progredd on the to do list for the cruise... Not so sure about hte house cleaning. Wish that I could claim an earthquake but without all the drama and destruction!
I did manage to get our survival kits for the drive home on the 2nd ordered from Shirley at Perfect Gift. She is a gem!! I also printed every doc I could find and have them in seperate envelopes.
I got 12 pounds of dry macaroni cooked for mac and cheese for our fund raiser, and managed to bake 60 brownies... Was aiming for 75, but since the kids were salivating over stuff I ws taking to the office I decided to bake cookies for my kids instead of another double batch of brownies. Hope that 15 brownies doesn't make us miss our goal!!
I have just one issue now - I printed up a TON of magnets and now I can't find them... Guess what I will be doing tomorrow after work? yep, tearing up the house trying to find them all!!
Nighty night all!!
I can just see it now a small group of shifty Disers attempting to scalp tickets outside of guest services, lol
Paula, I just cant imagine what you guys are going through, we shouldnt complain about scotland really should we.Just say, "sorry for the mess, there was an earthquake" - you don't have to say it wasn't anywhere near you
Colleague just moved a heavy box and dropped it with a rather heavy bang - we all jumped. For goodness sake, please don't slam your stateroom doors when we are around or we may not have enough mentionables to last the cruise![]()
Dont let len read this, he LOVES fighter jets, we go places on hols where there are raf bases just incase they are out and about.he will want to come stay with you.We get buzzed almost daily by the Navy flying training missions down the creek (or small river) in back of our house. It can be any hour day or night and they often come VERY low to the house . . .
It's a small price to pay for the freedom we have. Figure they have to practice somewhere![]()
wish you could fell better. Not again! You don't live near Philly, do you? I know there was a shooting at a Kraft plant tonight so maybe it had something to do with that if you live in the area? That is scary though...
So, I didn't give myself the injection of the medicine this morning and I felt SOOOOO much better! I was myself again...not the sick self that I've been for the last 2 weeks. When we return from the trip, I'm going to call the doctor to discuss other options, but for now I'm happy to not feel sick to my stomach all of the time.
Lynne, I feel your pain...
I can't believe next week at this time we'll be almost in Spain! It's exciting but I'm very scared for the flight. I hate flying so I'm freaking out a little...
Tomorrow I'm getting the candy for the candy swap and going to AAA to look at PacSafe's...not sure if I'm going to get anything yet. I'm also going to start picking out clothing (that is my sister's) to take with me. That's one of the good things about being a twin - we both have double the wardrobe!
Well, off to bed...another busy day tomorrow!
Thanks for letting me know. I better get to work trying to get this shifted. I just hope that I can get this organized in time for the 11 Eastern cut off. It would not be a problem to make alternative arrangements for Noel and Joanne if it came to it as I have a little overflow group anyway on the morning of September 21st that they could join, but I really want to do the Mojito tasting and don't want to cancel this unless I absolutely have to. On the other hand, I don't want to pay for a tasting that I cannot attend.
I am having a bit of an unfortunate start to the weekend. I managed to chip a tooth at dinner yesterday and woke up in the middle of the night with the most horrendous tooth ache. So in about 15 minutes, I have to ring my dentist to see if they can see me today. This is a complete pain as today is my last day off before the vacation and I have lots to do. I am hoping that I still will have time to go into town as I need a few last minute things for the cruise and then I have a Hot Stone Massage booked at a local spa at 6:15 PM.
Right, I better get going if I am even going to have a chance to get everything done.
Corinna
I really think we are all probably suffering with PTS to a greater or lesser extent. We are trying very hard to keep upbeat and not let it get us down.
On the bright side, the aftershocks are no where near so frequent but they are still pretty strong.
Mum went to England on Monday and in her emails she said she's still having heart failure every time there is a sudden loud noise. Its going to take a while for us all to get over this. I know all schools in the region are going to be doing counselling for the children when schools start back on Monday.
