Noel, is Glenn able to add the Maderia and St Maarten tours to his events data base? I'm thinking of the one separate from the posting on page 2, but the Pirates Sailn' th' Trans-Atlantic site at we are updating with activities we are participating in. Thanks. val

Hi Val,

They were added about a half hour ago, as 'Madeira Daniel Taxi Tour' and 'Private St Maarten tour' respectively. I'm working with Noel to try to import most of the people that are signed up to ease the burden of everyone trying to keep up.

I think the hosting company is doing maintenance on their servers because it is currently slower than DISboards or the DCL site.

Glenn

Yes, he is going to do this directly from my spreadsheet sans the children's names on the Madeira tour.

I will also give him the St Maarten names for the tour.

Glenn, thank you so much. Your amazing!! val

So, I will preface this by saying that I am pages and pages behind as my "day job" is getting in the way of my "night job" (reading on DIS). I am not sure where this has gone, so, my appologies for going over what has been hashed and rehashed I am certain...

First, while I am deeply flattered, I am also a bit embarrassed by this. When I joined on to this thread just under a year ago, I did so with the hopes of connecting with others that were Disney lovers as well as just "good people". I have 'met' both, and am so looking forward to the in person meetings that we will share in the near future. That said, I volunteered to organize things because at the time this all started happening (way before the talk of Spanx and packing) I had time to burn, and I like to do this. Additionally as I have mentioned to some, I am in a situation with my mom where I am better off being over busy so I don't dwell on that. Oh, and I really an enjoying of all of this! Yes, I guess I have a bit of OCD... (From part 2, I think... Hi my name is Sue and I am a DIS addict. My DISorder is planning...)

I hope that I have been able to help with things that will make somebodies vacation more enjoyable, more memorable and more fun! I know that you all have made mine all of this and we haven't even sailed yet. So, if I have helped you to be able to relax, focus on work, take care of your family, or find time to shop on EBay dso you have more dresses to wear, then that is all the pixie dust I need!

See you all in just over 3 weeks!!

 Sue

You and Glen have done a fabulous job with all your planning, your spreadsheets and of course, the Transatlanatic Pirates website. You deserve a special thanks from us all!1

All of the excitement has calmed down. Nothing on the news, but we have to think everything is okay.

This dress is also from Torrid:

I am just hoping that I have enough space to bring the wetsuit this time round. My shoulders burn very easily and the wetsuit keep them covered. It also gives me just enough buoyancy that I can just float with minimum movement. Sooner or later, I have lots of fish coming to check me out.

Corinna

Pretty dresses.

Something to think about getting instead of the wetsuit. They make nylon skins, it is like a wetsuit but made out of swimsuit type material. They weigh much less, provide some warmth, offer protection from the sun, but do not offer the same buoyancy.

Thank you for all the good wishes for my surgery. I have to be there at 10am and surgery is a noon. I have a pile of books, magazines and DVD's to keep me occupied. There is also trip planning to keep me occupied.

Pixie dust and hugs for the surgery tomorrow. We will be thinking of you.

pixiedust: for your surgery!! Of course trip planning will keep you busy. Have you go all your excursions done? We just finished our final planning over the weekend.

I did register. : ) Well, actually, RE-registered. I'll figure it out. It doesn't look like the events I plan on attending require much pre-planning.

Hope it goes very smoothly and you are painfree and on the mend quickly.

Not having to pre-plan never stops any of us. :rotfl2:

Well you may not think you deserve it but we all appreciate everything that you and Glenn have done. You've helped make this so much more enjoyable and we can't wait to meet you!!!!

Excitement? Where's the excitement??? party:party:party:

All of the excitement has calmed down. Nothing on the news, but we have to think everything is okay.

Maybe it was just a lot of nothing????

Thoughts will be with you!! Can't wait to see you post that all is well and nothing left but to recuperate and pack!!!!!

Corn Hole is basically a tossing game. It fills up time at tailgates and family reunions! You stand a distance away from the "hole" with a beverage of choice in one hand, and the corn bag in the other and toss away. In some cases, the more you sip your beverage, the further away you get from the target. :rotfl: I don't think it's an Ohio thing....although it is called "corn". :rotfl2:

Okay. I get it. So it was a selfish thing to do, and 400 other people got to take advantage of it. :rotfl2: We all win!! You and Glenn really HAVE made this cruise very special in many ways, and I can't wait to hug you with my perfume-free being! :lovestruc

Amen!! So have you, Noel!! There are many other Friends of Tinkerbell here, too!

All of the excitement has calmed down. Nothing on the news, but we have to think everything is okay.

Good! Whew!

....Thank you for all the good wishes for my surgery. I have to be there at 10am and surgery is a noon. I have a pile of books, magazines and DVD's to keep me occupied. There is also trip planning to keep me occupied.

Sending good thoughts and hopes for full enjoyment of those pain meds!

I was just flipping through the television channels to find some good background noise and heard a Spanx conversation. I looked up to see if any of you were there, but it was just QVC!

It's coming up as "Article has not yet been archived", so I don't know what this means.

Don't forget when they make you count backwards from 100 (do they even still do that?) that you can mentally count backwards from 25, as in 25 more days until the WBTA.

Not sure, State Police helicopters flying above, cops all over but nothing on the news. I want hubby to stay home instead of going to band practice.

He rode down to check things out on his cycle and no one is saying anything.

Sure makes me feel safe and I suddenly want to learn how to shoot!!!

Hope whatever it is is taken care of quickly and safely.

My TA just called and our documents are in. She'll bring them by the house tonight. val

Finally! Yay!!!!!!

Rash guards, I think. I know they can be made w/SPF, but as Becky said, not buoyant.

Thank you for all the good wishes for my surgery. I have to be there at 10am and surgery is a noon. I have a pile of books, magazines and DVD's to keep me occupied. There is also trip planning to keep me occupied.

You'll be in our thoughts, Becky. It'll be great when this is all done.

Too funny...I was just looking up Spanx online.
