Speaking of "clothing optional" I wonder if anyone will spot the famous "naked man of Barcelona" on Las Ramblas. :rotfl2:

I saw him the last time and all I can say is...:worship::worship::worship:
Even though he was quite aw-inspiring I wanted to get back to the ship as fast as possible to gouge my eyes out!:rotfl2:

Can we get El Corte Ingles added to the map? Sorry, I don't have an address, I just keep seeing it mentioned as a great place to pick up various items....ie. booze!

Monica,

Might have been answered but its literally a stone's throw from HRC. In fact, right in front of HRC is Plaza Cataluna, then think of those roundabouts, and if HRC is at 5 pm, then El Cortes Ingles is at about 3 pm. Really simple. You can walk there in about 1 minute. Big tall building, will usually have a big billboard with the words: El Cortes Ingles. Its about an 8-10 story building. Can't miss it. Hope it helps. And foods on -1 planta (floor) along with sundries, beauty and candy, smokes. Interesting. Remember if you need to go to the bathrooms, skip the first couple of floors and go to the higher ones. Also, the bathrooms are what looks like the stairway exits. Look for the signs. LOL

Its an amazing experience. Everyone should try it once. :)

So you were visually discriminated against also? :flower3: Sorry. :teeth:

Glad that you are OK - hope that tomorrow doesn't bring pain!

Still feeling ok. Thanks for you kind words.

After seeing Becca sleep deprived for a couple of mornings and evenings, I am now under the impression that we should do the fountain on Friday after HRC. Are you going to make that meet? I think we will do tapas for dinner on Thursday and make it an early night. Then get up and hopefully be refreshed for a very full day on Friday...

My DD gives the kids Dramamine which puts them to sleep. They wake up refreshed and raring to go.

Right, here is the list of participants for the jewellery workshop so far:

UKANGEL
Buckeye Gal
MagicMe
NoWorriesMate
TotallyAngelic
Granmaz
Ebony
LittleDisneyLovers

Ideally I do not want more than 10 people so that leaves 2 more spaces. Just to confirm, you will be making three items each that you will take home: a cellphone charm, a necklace and either a keychain or bag charm. I will be looking into getting materials over the weekend. So I need to know two things. Would you rather make a bag charm or a keychain? For the necklace, would you rather go with the colours of the ship or the Villain's theme?

Corinna

My Dsis and I would love to join in as well. Are we to late?

I just tell my kids and GK's people in different countries have different customs than ours and we need to respect their customs. Much more than that gets into a discussion I probably don't want to have.

We got back from Reno last Tuesday and packed the trailer for camping Wednesday through this morning.

We got our Euros while in Reno, looks like play money. :rotfl:

Camping was great, I still smell like campfire. I volunteer as a roving summer campground host, to fill in for other hosts who take time off or go to doctors appointments. Our grandkids went along and had a blast.

I read posts 250 :surfweb: on and will have to go back and catch up from about post 185.

I have been going over my packing list to see what else is needed. I have a binder of lists: :scared1:

Three different packing/tips lists form web sites

Packing list for each bag (carry-on, checked)

Budget

Meal list (to limit overeating)

Barcelona sights

To do list for on the ship

Sights for each port

DIS list for activities

Pocket cards for Walt Disney World counter meals

Transportation information lists (planes, trains, and automobiles...& ships) :yay:

Now I have a list of lists :woohoo:

I am so sorry. I tried to catch up and read the posts, but in two days you guys were very chatty. I hope I did not miss anything good.

I wanted to share another artice of one of my patients that made the front page today. My granddaughters were so excited to read my name in the paper. I also have two videos I took pf her on her last day doing stairs.

I hope you all are as inspired as I am by Jackie's determination. My two oder granddaughters (14, 10) were really moved by the story today.

Thank for letting me share.

I done the spin clas,, It was bloody hard,(really hard) week before cruise I had done a marathon,(ie fit) the guy taking the class, said
" Lynne ...step back from the white light...its nice going into it but not out.":dance3:
def going to do it this time again.
Maybe he can give me a class every am, so i can fit into all my clothes by the end of cruise:thumbsup2please,please.

I'm sure we could talk him into this. We also are worried about cruise weight because we DO NOT monitor what we eat. It's a great time to try out new foods and remember some old favorites!
