I’m holding onto summer. Tonight I’m grilling. Ribeye for DH and tuna for me, corn with jalapeño, and roasted garden potatoes.

I went to an orchard this morning for apples so I made a new to me apple cake. it is delicious! I didn’t have dark rum so I substituted apple cider (it was mentioned in the notes). would make it again. It is not to sweet, I don’t like overly sweet desserts.

Catfish, fried shrimp, green beans, mac and cheese, black beans, cornbread, and a guava pastry from Publix. Its almost like I feel like I’m in Disney the day before entering the Magic Kingdom…

Change from green salad to coleslaw. I forgot I had a big bag .....so made the dressing and it sitting

Beef stroganoff, Garlic Tuscan bread and because I always bake on Sundays, we have Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies and a fresh apple pie with local apples for dessert options.

Today was Sunday family lunch. It was just my sister and I. We took my parents down the Cape and had lunch at the Seafood Shanty on the Canal. I had a clam roll, my sister had fish & chips, dad had a lobster roll and mom had a scallop roll. It was all delicious!!! We even ate outside! It was gorgeous. Definitely holding onto summer!!
We then went shopping at Cuffy’s. If you aren’t familiar with Cuffy’s it’s been around since 1980. They recently had a beautiful new store built, and it was designed by a former Disney imagineer!!! This is really the only reason why we wanted to visit the store. It really is amazing! It’s called the Emporium with a confectionery.

I am going to have to check out the new Cuffy’s next time I visit my aunt. What town is it in? My aunt’s pottery shop is in Brewster.

I've never heard of Cuffy's. We don't go down to West Dennis very much. We'll have to check that out some time!

Unfortunately the only place that I’m really familiar with is the Seafood Shanty. Their last weekend is Columbus Day. Try to go before then! Haha
I could ask my mom if she knows of anywhere worth stopping.
