Wow, I went to the gym this afternoon and to do some shopping and when I came home, my inbox was full with requests to join the jewellery making class. I did not have the heart to say no to anybody and I rather enjoy teaching so I have decided to run two workshops.

I had some more thoughts regarding the keychain/ bag charm and the cell phone charm. I was thinking in terms of doing a DIS theme for the keychain/ bag charm probably spelling out DIS with metal letter beads and adding lime green Mickey heads at either end and doing a pirate theme for the cell phone charm.

I have 18 people signed up so far so could take another two. Here is the list so far. If you have not let me know your preferences as to keychain or bag charm and for the colour-scheme for the necklace, can you do so please?

Would you all be OK if I send you the materials before the cruise and you bring them? It should only cost a few pence to send them even internationally as they are not that heavy, but bringing materials times 20 will take up quite a bit of luggage space.

Also could you let me know if you have Palo Tea booked and the date. I am hoping to schedule this for 3 to 4PM, but want to make sure that this does not clash with anybody's Palo reservation. We might have to slide the time depending on when the tastings take place, but we can sort this out nearer the time if we have to.

It is better if I get the stuff. For 20 people, I need to order enough stuff to get wholesale prices so that will bring the cost down. Some of the materials are also a bit obscure. There are three components that we will need that are only stocked by one particular supplier in the UK and I am not sure if something comparable would be available in the USA.

Have dates been determined for the following? It's quite possible I missed it if they were announced.

• Mickey Mouse Club night (on a casual dining night); If a date hasn't been determined, I suggest a Sea Day early in the cruise before it gets dirty! With that said, does Night 4 (between Gibraltar and Madeira) sound good?
• a DIS group photo with our embarkation t-shirts
• THOSE GOING TO THE MAGIC FOUNTAIN ON THURSDAY, what time do you want to meet up to go together from Praktik Rambla (or an area in the vicinity)? The first show is at 9:30 pm and runs every 30 minutes. I suggest we meet at 8:30 pm or 8:45 pm for the first show because I believe we have some munchkins going with us, so the earlier the better. Additionally, most of us will still be dealing with jet lag. Thoughts?

Hi everyone ....Had a bad week (ill) and have spent a lot of it in bed, dreaming of the cruise and making plans !! .
I missed out on a shopping trip with my friend so Carl has said he will come with me tomorrow , he is a good shopper, never moans but does like to get something for himself, while we are out .....

Awe...I hope things are turning around for you soon! That's sweet that Carl is going to shop with you after you missed another opportunity with a friend.

I got my EBTA scrapbook done....My next step is to finish setting up the book for this cruise so all I have to do is plop my pictures in EACH night on the cruise and have a finished product when I get home!....

Krisann, it's perfect! You gave me some good ideas for my Picaboo book that I will be making (I posted the weekend special from Groupons last night). Before I went to bed, I started seeking out backgrounds for the book that I'll want to use on the cruise. One thing I learned is that you can do key word searches, and more backgrounds will come up than what you see from the menus. For instances, I searched "Disney" and got great backgrounds as well as DCL pictures. I also found a great champagne background that I'll be using for our Champagne Girls picture!

Champagne Girls....I bought a foam glitter "tiara" for a $1...promise not to laugh at me when you all look like princesses in your crystal tiaras and I look like a 3 year old (and a rather large one at that)! ....

I have updated my list with your preferences. The tricky bit is always coming up with a design. Once that has been done, the rest is easy and can be adapted to different themes and colours very easily. As to bag charm or keychain, the basic design is the same. It is just as question of adding the relevant attachment. I think I am pretty much there design-wise. Now I have to try it out to see if it works, but usually it does.

I had the same situation last year on our med cruise......a (much slimmer) lady wore the same 2 costumes as me!! Thats why I thought I'd bring more this year! She didn't laugh either .....

If I saw someone slimmer in my bathing suit I would have to look at her and explain "so that's what the suit is supposed to look like"!!

I am not a swim suit model at all - and she was a bit larger than me - so maybe that is what she was thinking? me personally was thinking this was from a catalog, it was an alternate color from the main picture... How did this happen??

For the fountains - I would prefer to do the first show, and be there early so Becca can see. She is def. a munchkin! I will stand with her, and Stephen, well, Stephen can fend for himself as he is (somehow) now a bit taller than me... (Who told him to grow?!?) Oh yeah - Glenn is on his own as well!! (Sorry Dear!)

We did the TSA locks as well - I found 4 packs for $11 each with free shipping and grabbed 2. now I don't need to worry about any of our luggage. It was well worth it for piece of mind... For the airport, the hotel and the port...

I think we are officially taking over the hotel - we need to get a group shot there as well!!

Oh - I have stuff that I can drop off as well!! Just let me know!! Nothing needed in return!!

I think this is an excellent idea. I just need to see it somewhere in the Navigator as I keep thinking it is Wednesday. I vote to meet at the Pratik Rambla between 8:30 and 8:45. Anyone who can't meet then could just catch up with us there at the Magic Fountain.

I think all of above should go into the Navigator as I am loosing track of where we should be, what time and what day.

I loved the Hawaii theme as well. I wish we could have coordinated a meet with both Southern California and northern California but not this cruise!! Sorry that there aren't more cruisers nearby.

As long as its not just me! We're looking at maybe booking an EasyJet flight from Bristol just in case! Dan even looked at driving down!

We looked at all the options before when the ash cloud posed a threat, and almost booked the train just in case, but didn't once the volcano subsided.

On our Med cruise we had booked with B.A flights. With the Ash clouds and the Strikes threatening, we ended up leaving 2 days earlier than what we planned. Still on a BA flight, but we didnt cancel the one we were supposed to be on, as our 1 back would have been cancelled too (IYNWIM) .


Can't get all my clothes on Easyjet allowances though.

I am bringing 3 suites. Last year I did 2 and when another woman showed up at the Mickey pool in the same one I was wearing I had to go change... She sat right next to me and stared at me - it was weird... She didn't even talk... I tried to laugh it off, but decided she wasn't very friendly...

It is hard to imagine. She posted his obit today. He passed away in their home. He was 37 and apparently had 2 children with another woman. It's just simply sad.

Do you think leaving at 8:30 is enough time? It shouldn't take too long to get there.

Regarding the DIS photo at the Praktik Rambla, that's a brilliant idea! What does everyone think of about meeting on the Terrace Saturday morning before the bus arrives or others head off for sightseeing? The bus should arrive around 9:00. For those of you not taking the bus, is 8:30 too late for us to get together for the photo before you are off touring? We'll also know who's still in bed sleeping so the bus can get rolling on-time!

GISMO SARAH, can we please have this added to the Navigator? We can let you know for sure what time after people weigh in with their plans.

You and Stephen got a great deals on your TSA locks! I picked up an adapter/converter set at Bed Bath and Beyond. It was $19.99. I had a coupon for $5 off a $15 purchase, too. Even if you use one of the more common 20% off coupons, that's still $4. It's small, lightweight, and has a little bag with it.

Where on Ebay did you find locks? Need to do this today as well!!....

If you do a search for "TSA Locks", you'll get a full list with a variety of styles (3 or 4 digit combo locks or key locks). The ones I purchases at 2 in a pack for $7 from a US seller can be found by searching for "TSA Brookstone".

Thanks for sharing about the HOHO buses. My questions, to those who have been to Barcelona, would you prefer the HOHO buses or getting a Barcelona card (the card gives you free access to all city transport and suburban trains)??

Also, is there a City Pass available for attractions in Barcelona? We've found City Passes to be the best way to economically see all the museums and site. We loved using it in Seattle (even though my hubby is from there).

By the way, I'm doing my best to keep up with people on this board, but I'm failing miserably this go-around. Gotta work to make the $$ for the trip . ..LOL But I can't wait to meet y'all!

For a 1st visit I would use the HOHO buses, at least you can try to get your bearings then. Its not so easy on the metro, as you cant see anything.
There are either two or three routes on the sightseeing buses. You can pay as you board.

Obviously Annie, you didn't get her notice. But I wouldn't have changed either. I'd of given her her look back. LOL - reminds me of a similar episode. We were in Puerto Vallerta and I had gone back to the ship and was running back outside to get something from the terminal when going down the gangplank, I saw my same olive green, white and yellow shorts with the same yellow gauzy shirt that was on the mannequin at Old Navy. I was so embarrassed at first, then as she was coming up and I was going down, she extended her arm and said - great minds! So, I laughed. Thank God I never saw her again. But it was funny.

Kimberly? ST = Stinky Teens. Leftover from another cruise where the teens sorta became a nuisance. So, now she's ST when she's being a brat. She isn't right now but its becasuse she's at a tournament and I'm on my way to Nordstrom's since DH didn't get me anything "real time" on my birthday. Heard tell that there is now an apple store in the new wing. He did tell me that he went to look at the ipads and the small macs but that he felt I wouldn't be happy since the speeds were so slow. I am of the "I want it now" generation. (I'm so bad)

Window shopping folks, window shopping. At least I keep hoping if I repeat it to myself over and over, I might believe it.

The pink shirt is really optional....nothing special on it. Just goes so wellwith the pink boas!
