I am bringing 3 suites. Last year I did 2 and when another woman showed up at the Mickey pool in the same one I was wearing I had to go change... She sat right next to me and stared at me - it was weird... She didn't even talk... I tried to laugh it off, but decided she wasn't very friendly...

Champagne Girls,Got my pink boa at Michael's today with 40% coupon! To save $$ and packing space, I bought a foam glitter "tiara" for a $1...promise not to laugh at me when you all look like princesses in your crystal tiaras and I look like a 3 year old (and a rather large one at that)!

I had the same situation last year on our med cruise......a (much slimmer) lady wore the same 2 costumes as me!! Thats why I thought I'd bring more this year! She didn't laugh either .....

Thanks for this Corinna. Possibly a bag charm would be my choice as my key ring gets quite battered, but I would go happily with the majority choice. Necklace I'm not sure. By ship colours do you mean red, black and white(or clear), and villains purple and something? Again, I don't think I have a preference. I'm useless these days making decisions!!

To book a private tasting with DCL we need cabin assignments or ressie number if your are a GTY status. This is becasue all of our tastings are PRIVATE and non refundable. OK bite the bullet and booked with EasyJet so now have 2 flights to Barcelona!

Anyone know how far in advance I need to cancel BA to be able to get any money back at all? I've searched their website and can see nothing! I feel I may have to raise a question to their customer services!

Normally if the tickets are refundable, as long as you cancelled them by the time check in opens, that should be fine.

I would go for the bag charm and the villains colours, but will be happy with either. I have been having a go at making bag charms and keyrings lately but they are terribly unprofessional. It will be great to learn how to do it properly.

I am not sure how long the tasting seminars take... UUGH! Well, I am not going to stress - first things first, we need to make sure that they will do all of them, and then see what they offer for times... Im only in trouble if they say it is totally up to me...

All the tasting seminars that I have attended lasted one hour.

Thanks for sharing about the HOHO buses. My questions, to those who have been to Barcelona, would you prefer the HOHO buses or getting a Barcelona card (the card gives you free access to all city transport and suburban trains)??

Also, is there a City Pass available for attractions in Barcelona? We've found City Passes to be the best way to economically see all the museums and site. We loved using it in Seattle (even though my hubby is from there).

By the way, I'm doing my best to keep up with people on this board, but I'm failing miserably this go-around. Gotta work to make the $$ for the trip . ..LOL But I can't wait to meet y'all!

I had a look at boas today. I can get one for less than GBP4. I don't like the texture though. I saw something else which will probably work and won't produce any mess or make me itch. They are sold as Hawaiian Leis, but rather than flowers they are made up of long thin leave shapes.

ASHLYN WON!!!! Ashlyn won the Tennessee 4-H Foundation Horizon Award and a $500 scholarship for college. Her area she competed in was Clothing and Textiles at the 4H Round-Up! We are so proud of her!! She worked hard this year trying different things - quilting, smocking, embroidery, made 2 dresses, pj's, pillowcase and a tote bag.

Thats wonderful news! A huge congratulations to her, what an amazing achievement! Skills like those will never go to waste!

I love crafts though I'm completely rubbish at them.

I've been loving the New Dress A Day blog - I might even try something similar myself come fair season as I'm sure I will ruin a few more outfits than succeed to begin with.

Can't see why not - they allowed a floss bikini on deck 10 during the PC. they did and no it wasn't that pretty. HINT to any considering this: Please bring duct tape to tape up any sagging parts so as not to leave a white part where everything else is brown.

Oh and as to cancellations, when dd had to cancel her BA flight a couple of months back all she got back was the taxes (lost a stack of money) I think she cancelled it a few weeks before the flight.

We are flying BA from Heathrow, so BA, BAA, the unions and anyone else running interference had better sought themselves out or I will send my DIS friends to speak to them

Wow, I went to the gym this afternoon and to do some shopping and when I came home, my inbox was full with requests to join the jewellery making class. I did not have the heart to say no to anybody and I rather enjoy teaching so I have decided to run two workshops.

I had some more thoughts regarding the keychain/ bag charm and the cell phone charm. I was thinking in terms of doing a DIS theme for the keychain/ bag charm probably spelling out DIS with metal letter beads and adding lime green Mickey heads at either end and doing a pirate theme for the cell phone charm.

I have 18 people signed up so far so could take another two. Here is the list so far. If you have not let me know your preferences as to keychain or bag charm and for the colour-scheme for the necklace, can you do so please?

Would you all be OK if I send you the materials before the cruise and you bring them? It should only cost a few pence to send them even internationally as they are not that heavy, but bringing materials times 20 will take up quite a bit of luggage space.

Also could you let me know if you have Palo Tea booked and the date. I am hoping to schedule this for 3 to 4PM, but want to make sure that this does not clash with anybody's Palo reservation. We might have to slide the time depending on when the tastings take place, but we can sort this out nearer the time if we have to.

Hey Monica, you think the 3 amigos will hang out again. April thinks Trevoy is funny. And if Dylan can't hang in the club, then he and April can if he wants. But wonder if we can corral Dylan into not being so shy and insensitive to his feminine side. Poor Trevoy! He ran out of there so fast.


April was officially confirmed as of this morning and I even have their flights. They will be leaving LAX on Friday morning, the 17th on American Airlines Flight #34 at 8:25 and arriving at JFK at 4:55. Departing JFK on American Flight 152 at 7 pm and arriving in Barcelona at 8:45 am Saturday morning the 18th. Straight onto port we hope.

Now I'm wondering how to get them to Port, either private van or transfers which cost about $120-130 for the both of them. Oh well, now that I've got them done, I need to worry about myself. No airfare but I'm not worried. I'll be well taken care off.

Sorry, remembered that I couldn't post on FB because of peeping eyes. We got it authorized through the school but are not making it general public FYI so as not to cause a disruption. (Did I tell you guys the school likes me and my kids?)
