Thanks for this Corinna. Possibly a bag charm would be my choice as my key ring gets quite battered, but I would go happily with the majority choice. Necklace I'm not sure. By ship colours do you mean red, black and white(or clear), and villains purple and something? Again, I don't think I have a preference. I'm useless these days making decisions!!
Got your preference for a bag charm down. By ship's colours I mean black, white, red and yellow. Villain's colours would be purple and black.
I think a bag charm would be cute, but I'll be happy w/whatever majority says. Same w/the colors. Thanks for doing this, Corinna; it sounds like a lot of fun.
I have added you to the list and got your preference for a bag charm down.
Calling all tasting organizers!!!
If you have a tasting and you want me to get that one on the list with DCL please PM me. I will be scheduling with them in early August.
Calling all tasters!!!
To book a private tasting with DCL we need cabin assignments or ressie number if your are a GTY status. This is becasue all of our tastings are PRIVATE and non refundable. I am updating the lists to include cabin number for those that are on my other lists, or have one in roll call. If you don't have a cabin number listed, can you please PM me your cabin or ressie number so I can get it all organized. (new lists will be posted today)
Also - what about time of day for tasting? Does 4pm work for everyone? Is there a better time? I am hoping to book something each day (maybe not the day of ladies tea as that could be Champaign Girl day as well?) so if you have an opinion please let me know!
I have PMed you our reservation number. We are still GTY. 4 PM would work for me.
OK bite the bullet and booked with EasyJet so now have 2 flights to Barcelona!
Anyone know how far in advance I need to cancel BA to be able to get any money back at all? I've searched their website and can see nothing! I feel I may have to raise a question to their customer services!
Normally if the tickets are refundable, as long as you cancelled them by the time check in opens, that should be fine.
I would go for the bag charm and the villains colours, but will be happy with either. I have been having a go at making bag charms and keyrings lately but they are terribly unprofessional. It will be great to learn how to do it properly.
I have added your preferences to my list.
I am not sure how long the tasting seminars take... UUGH! Well, I am not going to stress - first things first, we need to make sure that they will do all of them, and then see what they offer for times... Im only in trouble if they say it is totally up to me...
All the tasting seminars that I have attended lasted one hour.
Thanks for sharing about the HOHO buses. My questions, to those who have been to Barcelona, would you prefer the HOHO buses or getting a Barcelona card (the card gives you free access to all city transport and suburban trains)??
Also, is there a City Pass available for attractions in Barcelona? We've found City Passes to be the best way to economically see all the museums and site. We loved using it in Seattle (even though my hubby is from there).
By the way, I'm doing my best to keep up with people on this board, but I'm failing miserably this go-around. Gotta work to make the $$ for the trip . ..LOL But I can't wait to meet y'all!
Theresa
We did the HOHO bus last time round as this was our first trip to Barcelona and our time there was limited after our adventure getting there. It gave us a good first impression. This time round, I have a very clear idea what I want to see and we are going to take to the Metro to get to where we want to be.
There is a Barcelona card that includes public transport and free or discounted admission to a lot of attractions:

Corinna- I would love to have you teach me jewelry making. Sign me up!
Rene
I have added you to my list
Corinna - can't wait for the jewelry class! Now I won't have to walk past that area of the craft store wishing I knew what to do. I'd love a bag charm but happy to go with the flow. Colors - I'd vote villains but again would also be happy with disney colors. I guess it should be whatever is easiest for you! Let me know how you want payment
I have added your preferences to my list. I will look into materials next week and work out how much this will cost per person. Once I have this worked out. I will post my email address for Paypal purposes.
Any room left would love to learn
I would love to join the class, I sent you a PM.
Ann
I have added you both to the list.
I'd go for the bag charm and villain theme colours personally but am happy to do either thanks!
I have updated your preferences on my list.
I had a look at boas today. I can get one for less than GBP4. I don't like the texture though. I saw something else which will probably work and won't produce any mess or make me itch. They are sold as Hawaiian Leis, but rather than flowers they are made up of long thin leave shapes.
