Thanks for the compliment. With all the catching up, I forgot to tell you guys about what my DH did for me.

My DH John surprised me with a new computer when I came home yesterday. I have been debating about getting a new notebook since my Sony Vaio is getting pretty old. I want the new Sony but don't like the price tag for what I want.

John bought me a new HP Pavilion DM3-1035dx refurbished for under $400. I just want something really light to take on the cruise and it is just the ticket!!

Now there is a thought.

I pre-purchased my photo package on the EBTA - never again - what they did not tell me was that it was not refundable so I could not do the "trade it in" and go up or down with the packages as needed - which I did not like. So this cruise I am just putting the money on my account - you can send yourself an OBC for things like that if you want - you can even have the card say whatever you want.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I don't think this would be a problem here. I had the middle package on the Med cruise and this was only just about enough after me being really ruthless with photos and I still bought an extra photo on top of the package. So I was going to get the biggest package anyway and I cannot imagine not using up all the credits. Having said that, I might just go for the onboard credit. I was going to put some on anyway to cover the tastings and might just add some more for the photo package as well.

I am trying to look on Google Earth and find the Hard Rock Cafe......I guess I am overlooking it or the darn buses are in my way!! Wanted to have an idea on where I was going in 8 weeks.....has anyone looked for it?

Regarding getting the biggest bang for your buck, some of you may remember that I purchased a Disney gift card at DisneyStore.com with a card that gives me cashback AND via MrRebates.com. That was great free money ($35)!

Yesterday I called DCL and had the GC applied to my OBC, so I don't have to worry about loosing it. I need to purchase another hefty GC for the remainder of my budgeted OBC needs doing the same thing, although the rate on ebates.com is great right now than I can get on MrRebates.com. So if you're looking to stretch that dollar and get points on your plastic, I would recommend this idea.

Very!!!! I was just going to post and say I'm having my hair cut tomorrow, then the next time will be the day we leave for Barcelona I also picked up my monthly prescription today, and had to order extra for next time as we'll be away! Makes it all seem so much nearer....

Very!!!! I was just going to post and say I'm having my hair cut tomorrow, then the next time will be the day we leave for Barcelona I also picked up my monthly prescription today, and had to order extra for next time as we'll be away! Makes it all seem so much nearer....

I made those same appointments and reminded DH to be sure he gets authorization for his one prescription from Dr. for thyroid pills.

Small world, huh? John just started a few months ago taking 50 MCG of Levothyroxine once a day for slightly low thyroid hormone levels. It is more a preventative measure then anything else as he takes no other medications which at 66 1/2 is pretty good, I think.

Saw TS3. My son was only 5 when the first one came out and he loved it. Now my son's 20 and in college; I really cried when Andy was leaving for college in the movie. We had asked my son to come to TS3 with us but saidhe'd wait and go with his girlfriend...I miss my little boy!

I know exactly how you feel!! When my older son was entering college, we went to see a show called "Big". Featured was a mother singing a poignant song about how things used to be when he was younger. How I cried!! This weekend, we will be marrying off our younger son. How time flies!

So true! I've been thinking about the haircut, too! Next Tuesday is my next one, then I get cut and color the day before I leave!!
