I have just been thinking of all the things I didn't do on the ship last time and I have decided to write a list of all the things that I MUST do this time.

So here it is .... the things I didn't do last time which I must do this time list:

1. Go to the gym.
2. exercise by walking laps on Deck 4
3. see a movie ( or two )
4. order room service
5. use the pool
6. use the hot-tub
7. make an ice cream cookie sandwich
8. drink champagne under the stars
9. have a cocktail at the Heads Up bar
10. see Disney Dreams show
11. try a Konk Kooler
12. have a coffee at the Cove Cafe
13. Visit the rainforest room
14. Attend more art of entertaining and back stage tours.
15. Watch a sunrise
16. Trade pins
17. Go to Palo for dinner
18. Go to Palo for brunch
19. Eat a lunch in a main dining room
20. RELAX !!!!!

I want to miss dinner one night and go to the pool when it is quieter, then eat pizza and chips on deck under the stars. I'm too old to eat both dinner and then pizza and chips!!!!!:lmao:

Eat at Topsiders one evening at least.

More cove Cafe coffees, and Geezer meets.

Room service breakfast

Room service anything

NOW I want to make an ice cream cookie sandwich too!!! Never thought of that.:cool1:

Don't overeat!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Use ship's laundry service(not unmentionables though;))

See a movie or two.

Chat to more pirates.

I'm sure there are loads more.:dance3:

Well, after what you have been through you deserve a lovely relaxing morning, and you bought a formal dress too ..... any photos !!!
Great that your MUm has this lovely trip lined up with her friends after what she has been through. That could be just what the doctor ordered

I am determined to use the gym this time, if only to shift calories so I can put them straight back in at dinner :

No Photo's yet, but I will be wearing it in a couple of weeks for a party, so I will post then.
Mum has been looking forward to this trip for nearly a year, so at least it's something positive in the near future for her.
I am also hoping to use the Gym, just so I can have an extra creme brulee at dinner! ;)

Hayley, sounds like a great morning and some very successful shopping!!!

I was very happy with my productive shopping, just a few more of those days and I'll be set. :thumbsup2

The Must Do List of a 1st time cruiser is pretty much -
* Don't get sea sick
* Eat
* Book another cruise
Anything other than that is a 1st and exciting! :cool1:

I want to miss dinner one night and go to the pool when it is quieter, then eat pizza and chips on deck under the stars. I'm too old to eat both dinner and then pizza and chips!!!!!:lmao:

Ooohhhh, that sounds great, Can I add leave the kids at kids club!! :thumbsup2

Don't do it... before you know it, she'll be stalking you on Facebook and encouraging you to make rude and unseemly status updates! I simply had a chat with her after lunch on the EBPC and my life has never been the same again!
Oh no!

Woody

Doing well thank you. As with everyone else on here, looking forward to this cruise and busy planning.

Those who like free alcoholic beverages. We should make a list.

At the Captain's reception before dinner(you might get many more than one!!!:lmao:)

Champagne at the Art Auction.

Any more?(I don't drink, so I have little experience here.:lmao:)

The one we had at the Captain's reception was really delicious. It was a green concoction. Don't know if it was alcoholic or not though.

Glad you enjoyed it! I've still managed to be strong and hold out until I can (hopefully) see it on the Magic. I can't get weak now!

Speaking of on-board movies......I looked to see if Walt Disney Pictures has any premieres while we're on-board. "You Again" is scheduled to be released on September 24. This comedy has Kristen Bell, Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kristin Chenoweth, Betty White, and Victor Garber (try not to think about "Titantic") in it.

Oh how much fun! I hope we get this! The cast sounds fab!

When I could drink I remember enjoying that one too. I thought they were alcoholic, but there again I'm no expert.:rotfl:

Hi everyone! I am new to the thread and the discusson! This is going to be my first TA. I am a little nervous that with 6 days at sea my husband and I (no kids) at going to go a little crazy. Can anyone tell me anything special about the TAs and what they just love to do one them?

But I just wanted to say hello and intoduce myself, I am Tara.

Welcome Tara! I'm Sarah and I'm travelling with my other half Dan. Its his first ever cruise but my 6th. I did the 2 DCL TA's in 2007 so know a bit about what it was like last time. Strangely the time flies. I never found I was bored or stir crazy and I hate just sitting by a pool!

The EBTA this year had a few little special things that I'm sure Krisann will tell you about as she was on that one and is going on this one!

Do they premiere movies the same day on the European cruises? Anyone have any idea what other movies might be on-board? Sorcerer's Apprentice? :smickey: We like to go to the late night movie.Andrea

It all depends on the movie! Toy Story 3 wasn't but that doesn't mean DCL can't premiere it onboard on that day. With Pirates of the Caribbean 3 we saw it a week before the UK premiere as they premiered it onboard (think it was that one or it was Super Dog as saw both on DCL as premiere's)

I found the thread about items you could get from room service that weren't on the menu...I guess I remembered the list being longer than it was. It wasn't! In case anyone is gathering info and wants the room service menu in advance, I grabbed this from other info I was viewing. The room service menu is listed below. However, the items which can be ordered which are not on the menu are Mickey Ice Cream Bars aka Pirate Bars :sad2:, uncrustable PBJ sandwiches and (or so someone says!) Mickey Rice Crispie Treats...chocolate covered or plain! We'll have to test that one out with a call!

Snacks, Wines and Beverages Packages (CHARGE APPLIES)
M&M's (14 oz) Buttered Popcorn (5.5 oz) Salted Peanuts (4.5 oz) Salted Cashews (5.5 oz)
Package 1: 6 Domestic Beers (Budweiser, Bus Light, Coors or Miller Light)
Package 2: 6 Imported Beers (Heineken, Amstel Light, Beck's or Corona)
Package 3: 3 Imported and 3 Domestic
Package 4: Choice of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, ginger ale, or orange soda
Package 5: 6 Bottled Mineral Waters (16 oz. Evian)
Package 6: 24 Bottled Mineral Waters (16 oz. Evian)

Everything bar the snacks and extra items are on the navigator oh and the stuyff you pay for at the bottom as I wasn't sure on prices

Congratulations! Retaking 1 is so much easier than multiple ones. I'm sure you're glad to have the 2 behind you. Did you tell us what exams they were?
I remember taking the CPA exam a month or two after getting a serious concussion in a car accident, and drawing a complete blank on one part of the subject matter (that we'd covered in the week or two after the accident) and that was no fun, especially since the accident was caused by a drunk driver and out of our control.

I'd heard you could still get the rice crispy treats from room service (though I haven't ordered them myself) as recently as our January cruise. And I agree, the flip flops do not do it for me. Too much food coloring used to make the colored flipflop for me! After trying them for the 1st time on our Dec cruise, we didn't even bother with them on our January cruise.

Sorry we won't be travelling together from the Dulles area, but glad to hear you're flying with some others!

How wonderful! I especially like the really, really, really big lead she has!!

Thanks for the congratulations! They are Royal Statistical Society Higher exams - I know right? Its basically like the first year of a Statistics degree over 2 years. I have 4 exams next year (2nd year - plus the resit) which will then give me enough qualifications to become a real Statistician as at the moment I do the work but can't be called one!

I hope they do Mickey Treats but I've never ordered any!

WE're going on Friday ... I can't wait :yay: I can guarantee if there is any crying to be done in the film it will be me doing it :sad1::sad1::sad1:

We're seeing Toy Story 3 on Saturday to celebrate my exams! I will definately be crying! I cry at every Disney movie!
