Unfortunately my wife and I will have to cancel this cruise due to her Mom becoming sick and not able to watch our children while we cruise. We were so looking forward to this, but her Mom's health is far more important. Not really sure how this works but I will call DVC and see how the points get refunded. Hope you all have the best cruise ever!! I will pm Eric with our cancellation so no lanyard needed.

Hope one of the lucky members that was able to book excursions already can help me.

We are trying to decide what to do in Tortola. Candida wants to do the Dolphin swim and I would like to snorkle. We don't have much time in Tortola but I am wondering what the timings are for the two excusions. We might be able to fit both in if there is morning and afternoon timings for the two activities. Does anyone know the actual times of the Dolphin swim and Norman Island snorkle?

Made it tonight....and it was absolutely fabulous! Decorated it with choc leaves and frosted green grapes..too busy scoffing to stop to take a pic....sure to be a favourite from now on. Would work in lime or lemon!

Wow, it's been a busy few days on here. Haven't been able to get on much due to work What was the first thing I did this morning after I woke up. Spent almost 1.5 hours catching up . Now it looks like Part 6 will be starting soon.

I'll wait until part 6 starts to post the trivia question.

Since it's all seeming more real and there's been talk about people meeting up this summer, I just wanted to remind you that we have the Global Google Map for you to pinpoint where you are from.

Thanks for the good wishes. I quite liked the vampire look actually!!! Yesterday I woke up with all the blood pumped back into my cheeks with the rest still white!! Now that wasn't a good look. Today I am slightly more normal looking.

Well done on the fish gifts. I have only just started thinking about them!!

You have complete control to add yourself!

• Log into your Google account or create one.
• Click on this link to Google Maps.
• Zoom in to your location on the map.
• Click the [Edit] button in the direction of the upper left corner of your screen and right beside the map. This will pop up some iconic buttons on the upper left corner of the map.

Thanks! HOT, HUMID and sunny here in Canton, GA. Guess this is why they call Atlanta HOTlanta...Summer is here, and the kids are ready to be out of school. We finish up on Friday, so it will be a g\nice holiday weekend!!

Here's an updated list of overnight accommodations in Barcelona and arrival dates that have been provided to me. This should help people who may want to share rides from the airport or meet up at your hotel or apartment before we cruise!

Thanks for making and keeping up this list. It's awesome.

I looked on the US State Department website. It appears they recommend having a copy on your person and keeping the original in a secure place.

Good to know. On a related note, we're going this week or next to get Tristan's (our 8 month old) passport.

I tried to help out with this....The Norman Island snorkle is either at 8:45 amd or 12:15 pm and lasts 3 hours. I did not find a Dolphin Swim listed as an excursion??? I would not think it would be filled yet and don't even find it with no availability.

Jon, the dolphin excursions listed on the DCL site are not showing up for booking for me. It could be that they haven't open them yet at all, I know this happened on other cruises in the past. Once DCL has contracted for specific times on the day we are in port it will be listed on the booking page.

But here are the snorkeling times;

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel 8:30 -2:30
Snorkel at Norman Island (3hrs) 8:45 or 12:15
Virgin Islands Sail, Snorkel and Beach Adventure 8:00 -12:00pm

It's very frustrating when I try and give him updates and he says- "baby, I'm glad your excited, but I just can't think about it right now, tell me on the plane". That's what we normally do, I tell him what we're doing on the way there.
It is 3:30 here now (daytime), what time is it there? I wonder if there are any 'awake' hours that we share?



I think we get extra excited at the idea of not having to do cooking, cleaning and housework while we're on vacation. Also at the idea of having someone else look after the kids at kids club. It really is a break for Mum's (mom's in USA, lol) Don't get me wrong, my DH works hard, but it's different. The mum's will know what I mean.

OK - according to QLock (which I use for work) it is 1:52pm Monday here and 3:52am on Tuesday in Sydney.

So, at 8pm Atlanta time it would be 10am Sydney? Did I do that right? So, lunch time for you is rght after Stephen is in bed... Yes?

I would like to join in on the tea, but I need to find out what time my sister's vow renewal is. I cannot remember if it is the 25th or 27th. My brain must be on over load.

This weekend I found the password and now I do not know if I should go back to being "FaireyGod Mother" or stay as I am. Has anyone ever had this happen? If so what did you do?

Once many moons ago the DIS had major issues and many of us had to make new names for a short period, I think that most went back to their original names.

OMG you guys just described my DH. They must all belong to the same club. Even if I give him updates, he does not store it. So each time it is like he has heard it for the first time. It can be a little frustrating, but he has a cute smile so I forgive him. His standard answer is, "Have I slept since then?"
I am lucky he remembers we are going on a cruise.
