Oh my God! Someone's posted this on the forum as to special entertainment on the EBTA

So far, they only have announced Ducky Williams - he is doing a sketch specifically for you. You get 10 min with him for $40 (!) and he will draw anything you want. There is Alfred and Seymour and Ricky Kalmon, a hyptonist we saw on the western last summer who is so funny!! This is all so far. I'm going to start a "Live on the Magic" thread if there isn't one already.

I would actually be quite happy to pay this. I might well take them up on that offer if it is available on our cruise. This is something I would treasure for a long time.

I thought I post the link that I use to track the Magic on her way across the Atlantic on here in case that people on here want to have a look. I have the feeling that I will spend a significant amount of time tracking the Magic until I leave for Barcelona.

I am so far behind and have been super busy so I haven't had time to read this thread. Awhile back the 12 meter Regatta was brought up. Below are links to my posts from my trip report in 2007 that includes picture from the regatta.

I need to work on making sure we sign up for stuff. I don't think my brother Stephen (Nacho1337) or I really have signed up for stuff but I know we will want to. I need to finalize plans my trip to FL in May before I worry about what I am doing on this cruise.;)

BECKY...thanks for posting regarding the Regatta....I was on that excursion with you back in 2007! In the group photo, you can barely see me, but I'm wearing the red visor; my hubby is wearing the polo shirt. We had a blast even though it poured! I was the "captain" although i was a little under the weather--the tequila tasting from the day before caught up with me that morning!!! :)

Back to the work, when I would rather be relaxing on a cruise.:thumbsup2

When we were in Gibraltor on the last cruise we hired a taxi as soon as we got off the ship and he took us to the top and the cavern along the way. It was really great and it is certainly an option to consider.

I was the captain on the stars and stripes!!
Im the one wearing the white tank shirt and light blue cap,Dh has the same shirt on( he's the one with no head!!!)

Hi Lynne. Glad you popped over here.

Page 1 has a lot of the information on about what is going on. Im sure everyone will welcome you as they check in.

I (Sarah) and travelling with my other half (Dan). Its his first cruise and my 6th so its going to be a bit of a shock for him lol. I was on the EB and WB transtlantics in 2007 and can't wait to get back as that was the last time I cruised.

Any questions give me a shout?

What do people think of a Postcard exchange? CruzDirectorKaren suggested it on the Facebook page and I thought it was a good idea but thought I'd post over here to see what people think too? I'm happy to collate names if people want?

Also do we have anyone willing to host the Childrens book exchange? Sue (su_kraft) I think is doing the Adult one but didn't know if we wanted a seperate Kids one or not?

Hi all, me again... More on FE's...

I think that I want to take additions to the groups until June 1. At that time I will reassess and even out the number of cabins per group - to be between 15 and 20 cabins. That seems to look about right as of where we are now.

I know that people want to get started, (I do too!! I have done quite a bit, but want to finish what I am making...) but I think that we need to wait and see where everyone lands.

So, until June 1, please add yourself to the FE list by checking the FE box n the Roll Call (www.transatlanticpirates.com). I will re pull the list from the DB on the evening of the first (EST) and will post that night.

Anyone that signs up after the first will be put into a new group. I will work with them on cut off dates and all that, and if it is a really small group, I will turn to you all and see what you want to do.

WHEW! Who knew FE's could be so demanding... :)

Did anyone else notice that pricing went up on our cruise? Cat 11s were $1069pp and are now showing at $1209pp. I'm guessing that means we aren't likely to see that post-final payment price drop! :thumbsup2

I saw a post along time ago about a post card exchange.... Sounds great to me. Now we can see where everone is from.

No problems Sue, i happy to wait a bit.

I can still start work on my FE gifts as i'm sure we'll all have a handfull of boys, girls, men and women in each group, and i mentioned previously any spares can be random top ups and and top ups can be worked on after June 1st.

Hey everyone! OK, so I'm really getting down to the business of finishing up my draft of the list of folks who have asked for lanyards so far. Right now we are at 220 people who have asked for lanyards so far!! Before I get to the business of posting the full list for review/proofreading/etc. (and I still have to figure out the logistics of that actually :confused3), I wanted to just confirm the names of the folks I have who have volunteered to join me in helping pay for the lanyards by joining the "Lanyard Team":

I must cut off the requests soon so that I can finetune the list, make any corrections, get an accurate headcount, order the supplies and then begin the process of actually making the lanyards and name badges themselves!!
