In fact, I only just done our rental car from port to mco.
It was Len who asked if I had it booked.
:scared1:How did i forget that??

I still can't book my transport after the cruise as I can't book my hotel for the one night until we know if MNSSHP is on that night, as that will determine the choice of hotel. We can then book DCL transfer. I don't think we will know that until May.

Well then... that makes us OINK !:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ann:rotfl2:

I think it makes us DIFKS:rotfl:

As an aside, is anyone putting together a list of group activities that are taking place onboard?

I think group activites were going to be put on the website, but this is having problems at the moment.

Sarah, going off past years MNSSHP is not held on a Sat.
We have been a few times at this time of year and never seen it to be on a weekend.
Usually release about 6 months out so you may find out for sure in April. dont rely on my memory, its not so good :lmao:

Oh no ... this is not good news ..... so it will be a decision between Magic Kingdom or Epcot, and that will likely depend on which will be open later. I am leaning towards MK even if MNSSHP is not on that night .... just because it is my favourite park :cloud9::cloud9: and if we choose MK we will hopefully stay at Wilderness Lodge or the Polynesian.

IF I rememer correctly MK is usually open late on Sat :thumbsup2

I hope so .... because that will make the decision an easy one. I am beginning to regret not booking 2 nights in WDw after the cruise ... but can't have it all and one will have to do :goodvibes:goodvibes

Plan would be to go to hotel from ship and either check in if we can or if not dump bags and go to Downtown Disney for shopping and lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express. Then back to hotel to check in if not done earlier and drop off shopping. Then off to Magic Kingdom .....for the late afternoon. Early evening dinner at a restaurant on the monorail circuit, and then back to MK.

Or if time is limited we may go to DTD, then have main meal at lunchtime in monorail circuit restaurant and then go to MK, grabbing a snack in the evening, to maximise time in the park.

Decisions decisions decisions ........ and all advice re park touring and eating in a limited time gratefully received. Hopefully we can get off the ship really early and maximise our day.

Marc and I were just talking about what to do after the cruise. We've got 2 nights at Boardwalk Villas booked but since it might be some time before we get back to WDW we might try and add an additional 2 nights. We've got points from OKW that we could use at BWV if there's availability but we can't book until March 4.....a few more days to ponder what to do.

It will be during F&W....................

Amanda and I are currently booked at SSR (I think) until 10/6. I know that there is a MNSSHP on Sunday 10/2. It's being offered as part of the race incentitives that weekend. We are hoping that WDW keeps the same schedule as last year and has one on Tuesday since that will be less crowded.

:woohoo:And the winner is Sarah (TotallyAngelic). It was Grumpy.

This weeks question:

In what Disney animated feature is Earth referred to as "Section 17, Area 51"?

Jon

Answer: Lilo and Stich

And the current standings are:
Ann (Bareacuda) 1
Stephanie (Steffy) 1
Sarah (Gismo1554) 1
Angie (Mrs Mork) 1
Sarah (Totallyangelic) 2

Week 3 Question:
Name 2 villainous sea captains who play the organ.

Please PM the answer

Jon

PJ- the red and white slushy drink they typically serve at Sailaway has been called the Bon Voyage or the Sailaway, at least on my previous cruises. It is half pina colada and half strawberry daquiri. I LOVE IT!:goodvibes:goodvibes

We are getting more snow today.......can I move back to Florida now?:cutie:

oooohhhh .... I loved this drink, and the green one they served at the Captains Cocktail reception on Formal night ... anyone know what that was calld and what was in it?

Lets see I work full time, DW doesn't work, but I do Scuba training to make a couple extra dollars and Candida has sold some pictures. So does that make us a SINK (Single Income No Kids) or TINK (Triple Income No Kids)household :lmao:

Jon

LOL! def a TINK then

Yes a hairdryer may well need a voltage adapter if it doesn't have a switch to do so - my Mum's cheap and cheerful one does.

As an aside, is anyone putting together a list of group activities that are taking place onboard?

I think someone was doing a "Navigator" weren't they? I know I said I would help

EDIT
Oh I just found this from awhile back:
Oh I missed out Lynne aka OrlandoBeagle is doing a list of people interested in a 5K at Castaway Cay
She was hoping something could be added on there for that?

Room Tour - I'm happy to organise this if people want but need people to volunteer rooms to tour around
Scrapbook Class - CruzDirectorKarn aka Karen has volunteered for holding a scrapbook class for anyone interested and is taking a list of names.
Mini Navigator - CruzDirectorKaren aka Karen and myself have both offered to make a Mini Navigator if people want it so we are either going to work together or she is going to do it (I volunteered at the beginning but happy to hand it over).
Mini Scavenger Hunt - CruzDirectorKaren aka Karen has offered to arrange one of these as well (she is a star!)
Fish Extender Competition - Something we did on one of our previous cruises (might have been the TA) which alexandmaddie aka Krista has volunteered to be on the judging panel & Terrapin - Cant remember name lol

Not sure on whos still with us on the cruise though?

We did it! My DW and I have been reading these posts since they were started. We booked the WBTA the first morning in Fall 2008. Our airfare is on US Air from Portland, OR to Philadelphia and then to Barcelona. We will be staying at The Praktik, Barcelona from Wednesday through Saturday. The only thing we have left to do is figure out transfers from the Barcelona Airport to the hotel and to the port on Saturday morning.

Hi and welcome aboard. Paula (paulasillars) is taking names of anyone who wants transport from the hotel to the port on the Saturday morning. A lot of cruisers are staying at the Praktik Barcelona and the Praktik Rambla .. check out the accomodation list on page 1 of this thread.
