A dear friend on the EBTA just got an upgrade from cat 11 to cat 6, very cool. I guess the discounted cat 12 didn't result in many new reservations.

Renaissance Shuttle

OK I've just contacted them about a 10am shuttle but theyve said that the earliest they do is 11am. They reckon check in will begin around 10:30-11 so this should be fine!

The dear sweet rep tried to booked me into row 10, which is the last row of business elite, I would have loved that, but alas I bought a economy ticket, row 18 window for me.

I booked airfare! Direct JFK to BCN September 16th, arriving the 17th at 7:55am. $561.00

It is with Air France will call tomorrow to see if I can get an assigned seat, flown by Delta on this craft http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Delta_Airlines/Delta_Airlines_Boeing_767-400_Trans.php. I am hoping for a seat in one of the 2 seat sections. So excited. Now on to transport from the Airport to hotel, I have budgeted enough for a taxi or townish car (lol.)

Seems like so much to do before the cruise....and time does seem to be flying by! Cannot believe we are a few days shy of March already! Nice to see about the upgrades. We are in a cat 11 GTY, makes me wonder if we might get one.....
Not counting on it, but would be awesome! I just want a deck chair and a nice, cold Bon Voyage!

Yes a hairdryer may well need a voltage adapter if it doesn't have a switch to do so - my Mum's cheap and cheerful one does.


As an aside, is anyone putting together a list of group activities that are taking place onboard?
