Just popping in a sec as had a thought. Someone mentioned Hard Rock Cafe. Does anyone else collect Hard Rock Guitar Pins? I was just wondering whether anyone wanted to do a guitar pin exchange on board as well as the normal dis fish extender? Just thinking Cardiff Hard Rock is right on my doorstep so seemed like an idea to ask if anyone would want a pin from there and vice versa.

I also have to see about how to get one from Barcelona as well yet lol as last time the queue was so big I gave up! Anyway I don't mind organising it if people are interested. Not sure how many people would be interested though.

I keep hearing Aer Lingus as doing reasonable one way fares, but I guess you will have to change in Dublin. Try looking at the US airlines. Unfortunately the low cost option of Flyglobespan has disappeared now.

We're flying in early Thursday morning. We're staying at the Renaissance by the airport, but plan to head into town both days to see the sites. I want to find things that are uniquely Barcelona, but no super long historical tours. We may do the hop on hop off bus tour on Thursday to give us an overview of the city since we've never been, but still to be decided.

Were staying there too but not flying in until late on Friday

So a few weeks ago we did Chinese food for lunch. My fortune was "You wil soon cross a great ocean on a fantastic trip". My staff all thought it was funny and asked how much I paid for that one... I should play the lottery with the numbers...

About 2 weeks ago we ordered 2 sets of matching luggage. Ours was old, beaten up and didn't match. It has arrived!!! The new set has the feature where you can strap one bag onto another, so it should be easier to haul it around. I figure my 12 year old son can drag both full sets behind him as we walk around... He probably wouldn't appreciate that as much as I would...

It is starting to feel much closer than it is, but thats ok... I am blaming the threat of an ice storm - something about the crummy weather makes me want to get on the Magic NOW!!!

Youve just reminded me I still need luggage. Living in hope that my parents get new luggage for the cruise so I can grab some lol

I managed to get a good deal on Virgin but used airmiles so this worked OK. Also I think some people on the last TA did return flights. Oh and haven't USAir got a sale on at the moment so might get something good there?

The problem with using the inbound portion of a return flight only is that if you are a 'no show' for the outbound portion they automatically cancel your inbound part!!

If we were doing the EB TA however, it should be ok to do just use the outbound portion.

Think I wasn't clear, I was thinking a return from Orlando to London rather than the other way around.

Ah, you mean booking on a US site? John was thinking of doing that before we managed reward flights. Should work OK I would think.

I think he thought he could use the return portion on another trip to Orlando(within the time limit of course), but then you are stuck in continuing to book that way.

Using a return (not using the return obviously)from Orlando, Virgin, using 400 flying miles) £1090 for the 2 of us.

US Air one way for the 2 of us £1447

US Air with a dummy return £1318

Not sure whether to wait a bit longer or book the Virgin option?

Have you considered flying to JFK from Orlando on Southwest, which will cost about $100pp, then taking a flight from there? Right now Air Berlin is $422pp JFK to BCN.

We are on a direct flight from Atlanta.

Sue, we and PJ have moved our reservations to the Praktik Barcelona. A little less money and closer to the DIS action.

AACK! We might be there by OURSELVES! I looked at both hotels and couldn't get a room for 4 people. So, we could leave one of the kids behind, or stay somewhere else... Im kinda attached to the kiddos so I guess we will stay where we are... (Which is better than staying home!!!)

We got a great deal on Amazon - it enem included packing cubes, so at least one of us will be really organized...

I booked through Skytours, with BMI, but apparently have ended up flying with United, for about £420 pp one way, but we have 3 changes. Everything else was coming up way expensive though.

I don't collect HRC pins and don't really want to start as I have enough Disney pins to contend with, but I would be happy to pick you up a HRC pin in Barcelona if you're not able to get one yourself.

Then we can keep track of what's going on, who is interested in doing what and it would help the person doing the Navigator to put it all together.

I got a quote for a bus to pick up a the praktik barclona and praktik rambla to the port. It was 229 euros. That was for 30 people on a 55 passenger bus. I ask for that amount because the disers like to pack and we will all have a seat. it equals to 7.64 euros per person. with is $10.60 cents a person before the conversion fee and credit card fees. It would be about $15.00 per person.

It's in the works. I had time set aside last weekend, but spent that time removing the 100 or so new registrations spamming us with viagra and cialis, then figuring out how them from coming back. So far I've been able to stop it without using CAPTCHA (the annoying distorted graphics from which you have to decipher the text).

I'll try to get to it this weekend, but have much on the honey-do list, as well as getting ready for another baseball season, as I created and manage the website for my son's league.
