Hello everyone,
Just in case I dont make it on line tomorrow I wanted to wish all of you

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have been reading a couple of threads this morning and can tell who watches Seinfeld, We watched the Festivus (spelling?)episode last night too:lmao:

The weather is too severe to make it to families house this year, but will go on New Years day and make up for it. This would have been the first time in 8 years for us to all be together and it is the first time in those 8 years for snow & ice to be here during Christmas time, Guess it wasnt meant to be this year.

Greg spent the morning telling the pups there's No Santa. Of course I corected him right away. Thats NO way to talk to a 2 & 3 year old on Christmas eve:rolleyes1
I happen to know Santa will be paying the pups a visit tonight although Greg may get a lump of coal if he keeps telling them such terrible stories:rotfl2:

Have a wonderful holiday everyone, stay safe and warm!!!

Kathy

It was random. I was riding the carrousel with my friend, he was waiting to get on the carrousel with his buddies. He was in uniform (Army) and a VERY handsome soldier! Everytime I went passed him he winked. ;) He was actually very shy, but thought it "safe" since he would likely not see that "cute girl" again. After we got off we watched him and his friends ride, then "somehow" wound up in front of them on the Small World ride. My girlfriend started a conversation with him by asking him to wink for her. Both he and I were  They asked us to have a soda with them after the ride. We stayed at DL WAY later than we were supposed to :rolleyes1 . That was on Sept 9. We did not see each other again until Sept 18 because he had to go back to Ft Ord. I was 17 and still in high school. We got married Oct 6 and he left for VietNam on Oct 8. This was 1967. And they lived happily everafter although many at the time said it will never last. ;)

That is just the sweetest story, I thought I was going to cry, I am also a sucker for a man in uniform, god bless you and everybody else.

Happy holidays:hug: :flower3: :cheer2: :grouphug:

:scared: :scared: (only joking)

Jason and I will chime in with our own Happy Holidays greeting, too!:santa:

That is the cutest story. And you have us beat for a whirlwind courtship! We met in Jan 73 and married in Sept 73 (and yes, we're still together, too :lovestruc ).

Kathy, so sorry you won't be able to travel, but I hope when you do get together, it will be wonderful.

Naughty Greg! What kind of pups do you have?

Jason and I will chime in with our own Happy Holidays greeting, too!:santa:

Us, too! Happy Holidays, everyone.

:santa: Merry Christmas to you all :santa:

I had today off and we headed to town to get some vegetables and some other odds and ends. It was not half as busy as I had expected and loads of places have already started their sales. I managed to get a pair of Mammoth Crocs at a 30% discount so I shall wear them to work tomorrow. I also got a few odds and ends to go with DH Christmas present at a really good price.

I am on the early shift over Christmas. We will have a bring and share buffet at work tomorrow and I will bring my famous pasta salad which I have yet to make. DH will cook the Christmas dinner tomorrow and when I come home from work, we will have Christmas dinner and unwrap the presents. Tonight we just had some finger food and Gluehwein (a German hot spiced red wine)

...Maybe that would be a good question of the week.....which Disney Park (again, think globally, if you like) is your favorite park??

Whenever I go to WDW, no matter which park(s) I visit that day, I plan my schedule in order to get to the Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, usually while eating pineapple Dole Whip from Aloha Isle from Adventureland.

May all your wishes come true!:wizard:

"The Lynne family sails again." - okay, what's the Lynne connection for your family? I am Lynne and there's Lynne and Len from Scotland. Not the most usual spelling of this now unused name.

...And they lived happily everafter although many at the time said it will never last. ;)

That was a great beginning to your story.

...I have been reading a couple of threads this morning and can tell who watches Seinfeld, We watched the Festivus (spelling?)episode last night too...

Shall we start with the airing of grievances?

Were Back from WDW .... and after some rerouting and different airlines then what we had scheduled we made it home for the Holidays , The Weather was great , 80 degrees on just about everday we were there , heck we even went to Blizzard Beach for a day ... Destin did miss the snow , but were only 30 minutes from it up at Mt Charleston .

Had a GREAT time with Mark(Disneypilot) and Laura(Fairygodmother) at Jelly Rolls , poor SM got a lil tipsy ..LOL Then we did Shots around the MK and closed MK at 2am , then our final meet at Epcot (which happened to be the day it got a lil cold)

Well got some wrapping to do oh , this is what was waiting for SM when we got back ....This is her tea cup Pom his name is Beau ...he will be only 3 pounds at full grown ...

Wait till you hear DrHug's version. He still makes me teary! :)

Us, too! Happy Holidays, everyone.

It was a whirlwind. Our wedding was the 9th time we ever laid eyes on each other. But, the magic was there and remains still. DrHug's sis is working on a template so we can paint "and they lived happily everafter" on the back of our RV. Fun! :thumbsup2

That puppy is just too cute!!
Glad you made it home safely.

Our kids and grandkids are up by Kathy and Greg and they are still snow/iced in. :sad2: Now our Montana kids and grandkid are continuing to function and get about even with all the snow. As they say in Montana "we know it snows here". :lmao: ;)

Been a very busy couple of weeks here - now that I'm off until the 5th hopefully I'll have some time to catch up here, but in the meantime just wanted to pop in and say

Merry Christmas to all ( and to all a good night- it's late here!). I need to read the entire thread but wanted to say hello. We just moved an onboard booking to this sail date. Not sure if I'll actually go ( it's a long way to fly for someone with my disability and a service dog and lots of medical equipment) but I'm hoping I'll get up enough nerve to join several groups of friends already booked and to make some new friends too. :-)---Kathy
