I noticed when I downloaded the photos from the CD that all the photos from semi-formal night are missing plus some others as well. I know that we were given a sheet with thumbnails to check, but Shutters was so busy, we were in a rush and I honestly did not notice. I am going to scan some of the photos in question that I bought as hard copies and I am going to email them to see if they can fix this.

At least you got a thumbnail sheet. We had issues due to a lost KTTW card and none of our embarkation day photos made our CD. We didn't know until we were home, and now it is too late to do anything about it... So, if anyone has photos of the Krafts from Embarkation day, please hang on to them. We are setting up a FTP site and I would love to have them!!

I don't have any pictures of us on on embarkation day either due to computer issues that the photographer was having at the time. He told the crew member who told us not to worry but of course, no pictures were ever found.

The Shutters manager gave us a free 8 x 10 but really it never made up for not having the embarkation photo. I heard there were a number of others who also did not receive embarkation photos.

Yeah there was it seems a problem at shutters .. about 5 days before the end i checked my images there were some photos missing quite alot there were even some missing from my computer profile but had been printed out. I had been in a few days before to ask about some pictures that I knew were missing.

By then I had bought the CD. After many yellow slips and several days of waiting I went back 2 days before we disembarked and I made a massive fuss about it and the manager himself finally took all my yellow slips that i had about photos missing. Well the next day the photos were on my computer profile. But I did have to push and basicly threaten to complain before it was sorted out. The manager did take control of it. I was very happy at that.

I think in our case that the photos were just simply not stored to the computer when they were taken due to computer problems.

So sorry to hear that you did not get embarkation photos, Sue. Well I guess if worse comes to worse you could photoshop yourselves into one. That is a lost visual memory you can not repalce.

As for Disney World. I agree 100% the standard has dropped a lot. I remember being there in July and seeing filthy bathrooms. I never saw that before.

The lack of care is noticeable. Not sure what is going on. Maybe because Disney believes that people will put up with a lot just to see the Mouse. But they forget about guests wanting to return.

Yes DCL charges more than most cruise lines. But the service we receive makes that extra worth it.

And I would rather do 3 night cruise instead of a 3 night WDW. For the price it works out about the same once you add tickets hotel and food.

The park tickets are already over priced for most families. With free dining it does make it more affordable.

I have to agree Walt Disney World was less great this year I have to say I am regretting going now. I do not think it was just the DCL effect there was something no right. I had a good time but it just means I will think twice about going again. Maybe when they finish the changes to magic kingdom I will consider going back.

I never thought i would say this but i was really disapointed in my holiday to disney world and regret going there. I would prefer to pay more for the great service we used to get than them dumb it down. Its hard to get back something when you lose it. I fear Disney World will never be that great place it was in 2007 and 2008.

Does anyone know if disneyland anaheim has gone the same way?

Since Stephanie and I were only in WDW for two days, we didn't even get any photo pass pictures.

HI!!! Just dropping in to say Hi, WOW this thread has slowed down! Have been reading some of the TR's, So nice to relive it through somebody else's eyes! Love them all!
Still trying to catch up with work, big shopping day with the girls tomorrow so I really need to finish it up today, would feel bad going shopping and lunching if my work wasn't finished (I would still go, just feel guilty, LOL).
It's the kids end of year in 4 weeks so we are super busy with swimming carnivals, ballet rehearsals, photos and concert, exams, piano recitals, drama soirees, etc, etc....... Then we'll have 9 weeks of school vacation time, looking forward to lying by the pool and dreaming I'm on the Magic....need to find a pool boy.......
I have posted some random pics of facebook, nothing exciting, I will post more when I find a minute of spare time.......

Corinna - I have some but they didn't all come out too nice. Check with Kimberly. She took some great pictures of the menus. She may not have them all downloaded yet but check her facebook albums. She has some excellent pictures and is fine with sharing them (I've actually used a few of her pics in my TR when they turned out better them mine).
