Quick question while I have a second at work. Has anyone heard from Krisann recently? I don't think she leaves until Friday but I have been trying to get hold of her to check something. If anyone knows if she's gonna be back on here before we leave can you let me know? I know everyone's hectic at the moment (me included) so no worries.

Tomorrow Abby is receiving her Goofy call regarding the cruise around noon time. I have never done this before and I am pretty excited. I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully it will be a good start to vacation!

Jacky and I are leaving for Heathrow to fly to Barcelona early tomorrow. As I'm not sure if I will be able to post again until we're on board, let me just say:

First, it's been a pleasure living with you, waiting patiently with you all for this day to come. Thanks to everyone for helping us through it!

Second, I'm quite looking forward to meeting you all. I believe there's a saying in the Koran, "And if you mingle your affairs with theirs, they are your brothers [and sisters]." As I said in an earlier post, "We are family!"

I am sitting here resting after repacking again. I have realized that I have a zit on my nose!!!
You would think I was 13 instead of turning 60 in 14 days.

Ok, so this 866 number rings on my phone and Glenn blows it off, but brings me my phone. Same number calls back, I ignore it. DUH!!! It was goofy! I of course panic... then I check email and I can reschedule - so I did for immediate. Run the phone upstairs, it rings, I answer push one and hand it to Becca. Her face lights up!!! PERFECT!!!!

We take off in 21 hours!!!!

OK - all clothing is packed, Most toiletries are ready to go. All I need now is a few hours of sleep. We are getting up at 3 (big kids) 4 (middle kid) and 5 (little kid) to do a little sleep adjusting...

Folks, If I don't get on the boards again tonight or tomorrow, it has been an absolute pleasure planning, venting, crying, celbrating, cheering, praying and "living" with you over the past year. I can't wait to meet you all in person, hug and cry... See you all on Friday or Saturday depending on your plans!!!!

I can't believe everyone has time to chat, OMG, I am hectic!
Doing my crazy girl clean, scrubbed all bathrooms, changed all bed sheets, done all washing / ironing, vacuumed and mopped the floors, scrubbed kitchen, polished stainless steel, cleaned windows, etc, etc..... I have a bit of OCD, I like to come to home to clean house

Just wanted to pop on to say I have about a dozen navigators if anyone needs them, Is that enough, should I do more, PM me somebody if I need more!

Also, Last but definitely not least, A massive thank-you to each and everyone of you for welcoming and embracing me when I joined you all last October, I know I joined a year into the planning but you all made me feel right at home.
I have really enjoyed sharing the love, laughter, tears, stress and sometimes pain with you all, You better come back and chat after the cruise!!!!

I had an interesting day. I went shopping with my mom to Target to pick up a few things and as we are walking back to the car, something blows in my eye. After trying to flush it out with saline solution, nothing was happening so my mom called the doctor and made an appointment for me. It hurt so much that I went back to my mom's house and just slept for a while. The doctor put some numbing drops in my eye and it felt better instantly. It was a small scratch on my cornea and he gave me some eye drops to help it heal. I've put the eye drops in a few times tonight and it feel so much better already! It was scary though...all I could think about was that I was going to have to pack eye patches! It would be appropriate for pirate night though...

Had a cruise freak out tonight. I was sobbing and stressing and sobbing some more. I've calmed down some though...I think it's the long flight that has me so stressed out and that I was one short with my FE gifts so I'm still trying to finish one before tomorrow evening.

I'm excited but very nervous for the flight. After we land, I will be one happy camper - I mean cruiser.

So I had a cruise freak out earlier tonight.

Hpe your eye's better soon Amy, sounds nasty! Not long and all the horrid flying will be over and you can relax with that first cocktail and your 400 friends!

Oh Mandy ... what a nightmare for you. You will really need this holiday to give yourselves a break and recover your strength , but I can understand the mixed feelings about leaving. I am sure she will be fine, and she has support there if needed. Sending more

Had a cruise freak out tonight. I was sobbing and stressing and sobbing some more. I've calmed down some though...I think it's the long flight that has me so stressed out and that I was one short with my FE gifts so I'm still trying to finish one before tomorrow evening.

I was noticing the same thing today my face is breaking out too.

All that talk about zits and I just noticed one under my nose!!! Ahhh! It is contagious like a sneeze or yawn!

I woke up with a stiff arm and shoulder....thought I could swim it off...........I should know better! Ibuprofen here we come......:rolleyes

OMG!!! We're a right pair!!! Have you tried Voltarol rather than Ibu??? I find it much more effective, more quickly so I take less drugs..

I'm bothered by this rash as not only is it horrible to look at, it's also slightly itchy and sore. I'd say it's an allergy thing as it's not spreading and is on the front of my neck. Been trying to think what I could have done but with no luck.. I've put a little Creme de la Mer on it (soothes other soreness as a rule) and have asked Richard to pick up some anti-histamine cream. I've also booked a Drs appointment for Friday should there be no improvement.. YAWN!!!!

I didn't mention it the other day AND fortunately it's started to go down now BUT on Monday night I cracked my nose on one of my sheepdogs heads!!! OUCH!!! Rather fabulously, I had slight bruising to both eyes by Tuesday morning!!! But like I say, it's subsided a lot so should have disappeared by Saturday... I'm almost scared to move off the sofa in case anything else happens...

No ginger ale at the soda station but we have had great luck with getting someone to go and get us some when we want it. You can get it in the dining rooms no problem.

Well, I was TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!! I didn't make it to sleep until after 2:00 am. Far cry from my previous 7:00 pm night times!

...even if I could sneak by security, I don't think there is time!! Sides, I don't need to be locked up the day before I leave and I'll see you for 14 days straight!!!!

I spoke to Zachary's teachers yesterday and they are going to give him one week's worth of work before we leave and then the rest when we come back. They were excited about the cruise and wondered if they could fit into one of our suitcases.We haven't packed yet, but I really doubt it! We decided that the one who deserved to go the most was his social studies teacher, since we are visiting so many places. I also mentioned all the wonderful people from here that I've been "talking" to. I hope Zachary and Adam will be get a chance to talk to you about the country where you live. That would count as social studies!
